Even in this early movie, it's obvious Rudy had such a strong presence, such elegance, and such grace (when he bows) that it made him stand out from the others. The truth is styling and image are so much a part of a star that without them, they probably wouldnt be stars. In this case, I dont find Rudy very atractive, I would say other guys in the movie are more handsome. As a proof, he was not considered remarkable by the bosses în The film industry în his first years în Hollywood. Only after his wife Natasha and studios helped create his Latin Lover image did he become a sensation.
Natasha did nothing to enhance his image. In fact the movies in which she intervened were not as succesful as the others. Valentino was already a star when he married Natacha.
no this is not true. Rudy was a big star before he met Rambova. In fact the wo films she chose for him didn't do anything to improve his caeer. after he and the studio severed business ties eitb her. she left him!! talk anot a controlling woman. Poor Rudy he didn't pick women who were good to him or him! 🌹🌹🌹
