Many games from this era got amazing soundtracks. 2005-07 were probably the last years in gaming where soo many games had incredible tracks. Now it's all boring compositions in most cases. Games used to be all about genuine fun and the soundtracks represented those games very nicely.

I havent read any of the comics but i watched the 3 films and played this game, all are fun and gory but i get this feeling that this game describes the punisher comics better than the movies.

Just to think disney owns the punisher it makes my skin crawl but I have hopes for them to make something interesting with the punisher before I leave this life.

A sequel would be nice if they ever thought about it. Volition and another company can make a great sequel. Have Punisher go even deeper and show his emotions of his family's death. I like how when you interrogate your enemies, certain ones will have Frank get flashbacks.
Thomas Jane wanted to do another Punisher movie after the 2004 film. I would like to see that. I doubt it would happen. I did like the Dirty Laundry video, though.

I found this in a shop today. Played it for the first time in 15 years. I feel old now. I was 11 when I first played this but I've seen more horror in real life since then, scarier than any game.

What a game. Being a Punisher this was a real treat, especially with Tom Jane doing VO on this after the 2004 movie which I love! This game's soundtrack is underrated.
13 years later and I have to say that indeed, this is one of my favourite games. Brutal as it should be, great soundtrack and loyal to what and how it should be. This REALLY deserves a remake OR a sequel, cause at the end Frank targeted the Kingpin.
Justice is served with a a sharpened knife, bullets and a well oiled gun with a smoking barrel. The smell of blood and gunpowder rises to the heavens to appease and satisfy the blind, patient and unforgiving godess of righteous vengeance. Very inspirational music!
They were *this* close to making an open world sequel where you roll around NY in your battle van fucking things up, but it got turned into Saints Row instead.
The most hyped I’ve ever been is when I found out that when rounding a corner holding a pump you can nonchalant aim it at them without looking. Now that.. was epic.
This game and the Thomas Jane film has the greatest punisher theme imo, also I feel like this game captured the punisher perfectly. This shoulda been the music for Netflix’s the punisher. Oh well. I just hope that they do the punisher more like this when he gets introduced in the MCU. Also this game NEEDS a remake and a sequel. Or just make a new punisher game with a great story. I wish they would make this backwards compatible in Xbox One and PS4 already. One of the most addictive games ever and truly dod justice to the Punisher. This was literally even better than Thomas Jane's performance as The Punisher in his own movie and really was the prototype for the MCU
It also brings up Frank's veteran history from Vietnam and not desert storm like in the movie. The game is just a symbiosis of all the The Punisher lore from the past to (at the time) present.

I wish they would make this backwards compatible in Xbox One and PS4 already. One of the most addictive games ever and truly dod justice to the Punisher. This was literally even better than Thomas Jane's performance as The Punisher in his own movie and really was the prototype for the MCU

@Garrett Silvernell it's a mix of a few comics,2004 movie was based on Welcome back,Frank,and this game is based on Do not fall in New York
It also brings up Frank's veteran history from Vietnam and not desert storm like in the movie. The game is just a symbiosis of all the The Punisher lore from the past to (at the time) present.
I still remember this game. Since release in 2005😂 especially those great locations and bosses (like ma nucchi)
