Lyle, How about 2024 your New Years Resolution is to show the C4 more love. Your started to come around last few months. We C4 owners love Corvettes as much as the next guy. We love and own, drive the most under apperciated model of all Vettes. The market is coming around.

Happy New Year Lyle🎉 you mentioned in a shop walkthrough video a couple weeks ago of replacing a stereo head unit in a Corvette and you mentioned you might make a video of it. Just wondered if you did because I'd like more information about it please.
Happy holidays to you Lyle, Steve and everyone at the shop. My Buddy Jeff and I are all about trips in 2024. Maybe The shop could act as a homebase for Corvette outings in the area. Perhaps start a meet up page where others can post outings or ideas for trips and “Meetups” as well. Also looking forward to checking out Steve‘s grand sport dash update. I appreciate you and the video content that is put out. I've had a bad year where my dealership had my C7 Z51 for 8 and a half months. It started out with a trans fluid leak on an 80K mileaged and ended up with a newer 20K transmission put in.
Carshield actually paid for a new transmission, but the dealership had a handling fee of $2500 for that brandy new one, but for a $500 handling fee I could have a rebuilt with 20K of miles. This year started out with me breaking my leg and losing my job, so I went with the 20K option and the story gets even longer.
Just before it had gone in to the dealership I had ordered the LED 6 light conversions. The smoked lights are awesome. Since I new they were taking the back bumper off, so before I got the Vette back and the back bumper put on converted the reflectors into lights. Such a great look, especially at dusk.

Good morning!!! Became a Corvette owner thanks to my younger brother, Tom. I purchased his ‘96 CE coupe in 2007. Car is currently owned by my son, Michael in NC! I have owned a 2003 Anniversary Edition (my wife’s favorite Corvette) and currently own a 2016 Z06 LZ3 Coupe. Your site has been helpful and informative over the years! My question…where did the name “C&S Corvettes”originate? I think the “S” belongs to Steve, but who is or was “C”? Just curious!! Thanks Lyle and Happy New Year! Bob
Hi Bob! WAAAAYYYY back in 1974, two guys who knew Corvettes really well in SW Florida got together and opened a Corvette Repair Shop. Steve was the "S" and Chuck was the "C". Chuck left the business to go into land-clearing after a year or two, and Steve tried changing the name to Corvettes and Specialties, but everyone kept saying "Oh, you mean C & S Corvettes!", so the name just stuck. :) Lyle

No, unfortunately, I cannot. We go to Carlisle every August, and I couldn't afford to be away form the shop for that long in a 30 day window. I would LOVE to do it one day, though! Lyle
