    En Inglés la palabra "redeem" abarca dos significados del español: En el primer ejemplo signicaría "canjear", "intercambiar" el añadido extra o bonificación que nos dá algo por su equivalente. Se aplica justamente a las ofertas de productos de tiendas o supermercados. En cambio, el segundo significado es de "redimirse", luego de haber tenido una mala acción o desempeño, corregir el resultado o recomponer la imagen propia haciendo bien eso que hicimos mal. Que raro, porque los morfemas podrían ser parecidos, pero los sememas son muy distintos.

    Thank you for such an informative and well-explained video! I was looking for something on negative prefixes for one of my ESL students, but actually it was really interesting for myself, too! You don't come across the word 'non-sequitur' that often... :)

    may I disagree with ill-advised as I think it is a complex word that consists of 2 words ill and to advise. The meaning is badly advised whereas the other words can be paraphrased with not - Not legal and not logical. So I think it should not be in the same column :)
