Speak is much more formal and one-sided sounding, and mostly used in more professional settings where there is a power dynamic. Talk can be used in the same ways but is more casual and common.
Speak is used when talking with/to superiors usually reporting something or making a request. To "Get spoken to" is a common way to say you've been scolded for doing something wrong.
To talk to someone is more with friends and family. To talk to/with someone feels much more balanced in power and more equal in participation.
You speak to someone about projects and work problems
You talk to someone about your hobbies and life

Thank you for your explanation! Though there is a question left for me. How does a verb "talk" match and regard to the above ones! Do we use "to talk" like a synonym to "to speak"? In an instanсe "i have to talk/speak to you". Whether are there any nuances?

    • @ChitralPakistan

Тимур Мухаметов talk is used when two or more persons talking each other and speak is used when you're speaking in front of listeners. Hope you will get my point

Your classes are the superlative.I would like to know usage of “reported me and Told me “these two seems to need an object..Ok. But rest of words like said, informed, answered, replied , responded, and suggested. For these sentences don’t need an object ?
