Just did mine today, gods I loved everything about this system ever since I bought it EXCEPT FOR THAT BLOODY FAN that used to drive me INSANE. Can't believe it's perfectly silent now and I don't have to hear that stupid buzzing sound and fan ramping up
Thanks AMR, I bought this cooler fan and exchanged the original by the new one. And the new cooler is really noiseless. I can't hear anything. But: the bdv-e2100 gets warmer than before. I think it gets really hot. Also when using for normal TV sound not so loud. I hope this does Not lead to a malfunction.
Interesting you sure you got the right powerd fan? Never had an heating issue. I don't think there will be a malfunction as long as its kept in a well ventilated place and it's not heating to the point its untouchable. A little warm should be fine.
good video. although I just took the fan out and gave it a very liberal spray of WD40 and it seems to be working fine now.
I've never heard a fan as bad as the one in this device though, totally unreal.
Glad it worked for you. With the stock fan I did everything and nothing helped with the sound. I even placed the old fan with rubber bearings and it still was loud. Only thing worked for me was the new fan which is still running perfectly up to this date.
@@HyperAMR Did you have any defects after changing the fan?
There is this same model but with 0.60w will it be a problem to use it?
I am still using it for hours of gaming and having no issues. Please use the same power fan I mentioned as lower powered ones will make the system overheat.

@@HyperAMR I put the cooler on my sony e6100 and it worked perfectly, that unbearable buzzing is gone

I agree wth u. Such a big company yet selling rubbish. Im stuck wth my dvd player been stuck 3months not playing. Sony knw they sell cheap staff just so unprofessional. My money to waste.this is the second dvd player sent to replace first one but its also givimg same problem. Cant even play movies or music.
