Would love to see some primitive trapping techniques/methods & how it was done by the indigenous peoples! Really enjoy your channel, super fascinating, educational & entertaining as a Hunting, Fishing & Trapping enthusiast
@@NappingWanderer I think it'd be super cool to see, learn & hear about how primitive trapping was done from materials, methods, species targeted for food/fur ect
We always liked tail grabbing armadillos when hunting hogs and Javelina on the King Ranch. Kind of like counting coup. They're like hanging on to a paint mixer on a drill with the trigger locked on but from the mixer end. Big fun.
I got a real good laugh watching you run up that Creek chasing your arrow in that catfish. Just before you walked up on that rattlesnake I was saying to myself I haven't seen any snakes in any of these videos yet where did they all go and then bingo. I really do like watching these hunts that you do. Did you not go back and get that little pig that you shot? Anyway thanks for the video have a great day and stay safe and keep your powder dry and your points Sharp!
Such a valuable channel man (and I definitely support the mission ha) - I wish you woud make some more hunting videos with the TVM flintlock. Or would make another video with a little more detail on the actual building process.
Great bit of primitive hunting and bowfishing. Hey Dustin! Next time you try the bow on fish there, aim at the nose of the shadow of the fish. Remember, light is refracted at the water's surface. Good luck and Cheers from downunda! ;D
Great video series. Makes you think about how the natives harvested everything they could eat. That's cool that you can shoot catfish in Florida. Texas is very limited on what you can bow fish for. No gamefish of any kind
That is a great example of why otter in pre reservation days for plains tribes was a mans item only. They are the ultimate predators and are almost 100% successful when they go to hunt.
I’m big into Flintknapping, arrowhead hunting and primitive survival. Love your channel, great job buddy! Keep it up.

These have been very enjoyable to watch! Thank you for these awesome videos!
As someone who trained in History/ Archaeology that stream bed is screaming out to me "come find my wonderful treasurers".
Awesome series and a great channel. Keep up the awesome work Ryan.

Lovely hunt sir👌❤️
what is the optical angle, the light break, when shooting at a fish
Hi from Melbourne Australia.
when bow fishing, you need to aim below the target and the deeper they are the farther below the target you aim. It's fun watching you though.

The web from a golden silk spider 🕷 works really well for catching minnows on the end of a stick with minimum effort
How many far to shoot primitime arrow?
......sure wished we could do that in Europe..............................................
Isnt bowfishing catfish and bass illegal? Or maybe is it legal with primitive gear or something? Looks like a blast either way!
Would love to see more atalatl fishing vids too brother 👍🏻
I know y'all like huntin critters, but do yall ever hunt shrooms out there? I bet theres some really nice cubensis growing in those cow fields!
I didn't know that European Carp are in Floridian waters! these Fish will think it's the promised land and breed like crazy in that warm water.
That was a beautiful rattler. Is it an Eastern? Or...?
Timber/ canebrake. Same snake different name.
@@stevew2347 Cool thanks. Not familiar with FL snakes. Wonder how they are dong with all the pythons infesting the State though.
Yep. That was an Eastern Diamondback. Timber rattlers have bands and are more brown. Definitely a diamondback
@@tommylitchfield3450 Neat, thanks. Prolly have to look up more about it cause I still wanna know abut competition from the python.
wet feet in crocs is like nails on a chalkboard to me, I tried to finish it but no biggie.
Let's see a colab with you and Beka Garris.
Why not use a bone point for fish?
He did in the first two videos in this series. Must have broken or lost them all.
create content with primitive teknologi channels, it will definitely go viral
Wow
I think that snake would have went on the fire Js Unless there’s a law against it in Florida.
I can put you on some monster Gar up here and huge carp on my lake
Ryan cook what you have hunt.
