I’m an old dyed in the wool carper 40 years man and boy, Oscar’s not usually my bag but this really sparked my fire, great info and Tom brought out the best in him, Why aren’t we seeing more of Tom (and Oscar) come on Korda you’ve a pair of great assets the world needs to see more off… 5 stars from me
Great watch. Well done on the lead clip with no tubing or leader. Safest rig. Don't use a running lead clip on tubing as this is a tether rig. Brilliant angling Oscar, well done.
Some really good info there from a young man. The hook length theory has got me thinking. Going to be hard to actually implement but you never know. Come on Korda and Mr Fairbrass give this man some more gigs.
Really enjoyed this anything that gets that buzz going as you watch it is bang on for me plus fox alarms ❤ effort 👌 makes the difference top fishing 🎣 great video had me hooked from start to finish 👍
Oscar uses maggots only in the colder months, so they get a lot less sweaty during the winter and if they are coated in maize dust or similar, it keeps them dry for longer periods. They are also a more affordable natural bait in large quantise as worms can be very expensive, but there's no denying the effectiveness of worms, especially feeder fishing 🙌
Loved the video. 💪🏼its great to see someboby else who fishes the same as me. i.e slack lines and tight together. I usally get other anglers mentioning my setup. Quick one, has anyone ever fished maggot and half pop up in a pva bag?
Oscar's go-to pattern and one that works for him time and time again 👊🏻 Conventional Wide Gapes or even a Wide Gape X are other hooks within the range, with thicker points yet still lovely and sharp from the pack.

Thanks for this great feedback mate, truly appreciated 😊
Love the fact he does things his own way as it has worked for him, top lad
Total respect Oscar for the time and determination you put into your fishing
Very refreshing video from two obviously extremely passionate and genuine anglers.
Thank you mate, much appreciated.
His rods weren’t close enough for my liking
You know when he picks one up they all come up I have this problem from time to time and mines a good 9 inch apart 😅
Our apologies Sam. We'll try to cram them even tighter next time ... 🫣
@@KordaTV thanks
Really enjoyed that. The in depth questions and answers as to how and why was fantastic. Bravo Tom,Oscar and Korda.
Thank you Darryl 😊
Awesome angler with an incredible album of carp. Simple confident angling. Brilliant watch 👌🏼
Thanks Luke, much appreciated 🙌
Liking how he ties the blowback without a ring, just a loose knot on the hook shank. 💯👌
Legend 👊🏼 Great video Tom & Korda 👏🏼
Thanks mate

Nice insight to another anglers thinking.
Thanks Martyn.
So many informations! Great video! 🙌
Thank you, glad you enjoyed.
Best way to target big carp, fish lakes that have big carp... mega video as always 👊
Glad you enjoyed mate.

Glad you enjoyed and great to hear it gave you the buzz! Thanks for the nice feedback 😊
@@KordaTV more than welcome
Next Maker in the making
Big fan of using the knot on shank for blowback, done it that way for awhile and its so much neater than a ring
Lovely way to fish it - Neat and tidy no doubt 🙌
He’s just a bloody good angler!
Sure is!
Brilliant film 😍
interesting loved the info👍🐟🎣
Glad you enjoyed mate 👍
Been going at river feeder fishing, and one thing it always work are earthworms. Maggots quickly get sticky and they are fidly to put on🤷

Nice to see a different approach to fishing! Defo took a few things away from the video
Great to hear, Jack 🙌
Amazing 👌👌👌

Awesome video mate im new to carp fishing how do you tie that drig thing of beauty that
🔥🔥
Nice video. Anyone know the name of the track that comes on just before the end?
Try Lost Portals, Into the Water.
@@KordaTV magic! Thank you 👍

10inches someones been lied to😂
🙏💥💥🤙mega
😁
I think this lad has forgot to ask Oscar how many times he has breathed in and out today and what's his reason for that😂😂😂
I should add its a mint vid and very informative
@@leebarker7563 LOL - Thanks Lee 😇
There’s nothing tactical or technical about having rods that close together. Why do it?
He likes it tidy …..😂😂😂😂
3.30 no reason other than fashion victim.
His setup is fine for pets, try that 12lb & that super tight setup on big wild fish lol
Why would anyone do that? Try using your tow rope leaders & leadless leader hook links to catch busy circuit water carp
Google translate isn't helping. In English please?
March? Not newest update 😂
The video covers winter, spring and summer fishing, filmed across all seasons 👍
Big carp u need the likes of Darrell peck .this guy seems ok though 👍I woudnt worry about the rig nonsense though ...
Oscar's OK. 40 x UK carp over 40lb, not a bad album for a lad in his 20s ... 👀
For his generation though there’s loads more 40s available than in years gone by……just saying.
Them hooks are mega sharp but there a 1 cast hook
🎯
