hi everyone! thank you so much for all the love on this chaos; i just wanted to point out a couple of things!
1. the livestream you see here was NOT the one we were reacting to - what we watched was a blurry tiktok livestream that made it almost impossible to see all the visuals. i linked the video used above in the description!
2. for the reason that it was hard to see on-stage details, we let our singing take over (sorry!) we just couldn't believe what we were hearing...it was impossible to keep our wild joy in

Me screaming and crying. She got shot twice during TSMWEL. The first shot could have been Joe, first breakup but she survived, then shot again having Matty love bomb her and leave while she was vulnerable and it killed her. 🥺 TAYLOR! She really out did herself with the TTPD set. 😭 I’ll never sing WAOLOM the same again. “BUT WHAT IF THEY DID!” 🔥

I always took the line "All the wine moms are still holding out but F em, it's over" as a reference to all the people refusing to believe she and Joe were really broken up, begging Joe to come back etc. They were still holding out for her and Joe. She's telling them it's over, she actually is with Matty and she doesn't care what they think.
I don't believe the last verse was originally written for Travis. The whole song follows the storyline of Love Story, her parents didn't approve, she wanted to run away with this man, eventually they came around and Romeo told her to go pick out a white dress. I think the last verse is her imagined, hypothetical happy ending to this scenario, which obviously never happened with Matty. Now that the happy ending has come true with Travis, she's leaning into it and retconning a bit. Love it!
As i said before i think on this channel i do not think But daddy i love him is about 1 person. It is more about the backlash that she gets each time she has a new beau, and where before it were outsiders who were calling her slut now its people who call themselves fans trying to make her dating life almost impossible, in guy terms we call that c**k blocking.
They tried and succeeded with Matty and then tried again with Travis.
It's why i came looking here not believing what suddenly got written about a football player that i followed and that never seemed to be problematic suddenly got portrayed as being dumb (squirle) possibly abusive (he plays football after all) and a cheat (15 min fame girl from that dating show).
The whole TTPD tour was electric ^^ so much production. And with Taylor writing parts of TTPD during the Eras tour don't you think that she wrote some of the songs with touring in mind? This was my first time seeing a "new" show and i am impressed by the excitement and passion of the Swifties.
Just fyi, Travis is dyslexic, as is my son, who has an IQ of 139. I wish I could scream that to the entire fandom who are clueless.

Cool to see your reaction on this, this was definitely an exciting time learning what changes had been made to the Eras Tour. The TTPD set is pretty spectacular, I like the Who's Afraid of Little Old Me performance and the skit leading into I Can Do It With A Broken Heart. I was hoping for the Smallest Man bridge and some of her vocals in this set were insane.
The only disappointment about the new show is that she cut Long Live. It's really quite bizarre to me that of all things, she cut one of only two Speak Now songs, one which is very beloved by fans. She could easily have cut something like Bad Blood instead 😞

56:46 About “Daddy I Love Him” maybe just the last part of the song is about Travis. Like, after she says, “it’s over” (perhaps the Matty relationship) and then now she’s found Travis who her parents love but we ruined everything for freaking out about Matty that she’s saying that “we” can’t come to the wedding that we now “approve of”? Does that even make sense?

No it’s not about Travis but Matty, who infamously hung out with Taylor’s parents at a couple Eras Tour concerts, which sent the Speak Up Now people over the edge.

Even though she was technically with him for a short time he was talking to her about rings and they obviously have a history and she really thought she was going to marry this guy . It's about the speak up now movement. And anyone familiar with it can see that But she wrote a fictional happy ending like Love Story. In Love Story it ends with a proposal and her dad coming around also which never actually happened. And she didn't end up with that guy and her father never actually came around on him. But she wrote that happy ending into the song anyway. She wrote the happy ending and the wedding with Matty into that song. Nothing to do with Travis

Cardigan is influenced by my ex mother in law who said she'd disown her son if I left him. She passed away 2011. Constructive critism here: So if you want to react to a video,better not make it a sing aling video and overwhelming the sound with your voices,one way to react properly is watching the video carefully and ispect what is really happening cause i really felt like you miss the whole purpose of the live and focused more on singing along
I think the reaction part is seeing what songs she includes and the vibe. Most of us watching alone just watch. But personally, and this is just my opinion, if I had someone to experience this WITH, id sing along.
