I can remember going to my local video rental shop in 1996 and looking at the box for the original RE but never being able to rent it because it was always rented out. Seems like ages ago. It's incredible to see what this franchise has grown into over the past 25 years. IMO, the randomizer community is the most interesting and exciting development, however. There's something special about experiencing these classic games like this.

I don't know if you know the mod creators personally but you should try and see if they can mod all three originals to have each other's voice lines an example is play re3 with the lines in Re1 or 2 and vice-versa

The first time I ever played Resident Evil was the directors cut. I remember going into the store and buying it off the shelf at funco land now GameStop it came with a demo of Resident Evil 2 & there was nothing like it back then Capcom and Resident Evil was way ahead of its time the big games around that time was Mortal Kombat & Resident Evil and both of those franchises change the landscape of Gaming not too long after Resident Evil 2 Metal Gear Solid released

Man, this is incredible, but I'd PAY to see if re_duke can manage to include the dualshock edition soundtrack. If it's not possible, I'm still very impressed by his work in the modding community. He's keeping these games alive.
