Professor Alex Bradford / I'm Too Close

Professor Alex Bradford born in Bessemer,Alabama in 1927 was one of Americas greatest songwriters. He moved to Chicago in the 1940’s with hope of becoming one of the Roberta Martin Singers. That however didn’t work out. Bradford moved on and landed the opportunity to be the personal secretary for Mahaila Jackson . He kept kept his eyes open, made all the right connections and when the time was right he stepped out. Here for us now to sing his million seller single. I'm too close to heaven now ! As it was recorded live in 1957 at The Newport Jazz Festival is His Grace Professor Alex Bradford.Down to business now.....
