MG Hector plus is the best car in its segment. Very Strong build quality, Ultra luxurious interiors like Mercedes , great ride comfort, very fast pickup, smooth refined engine, all make it an excellent package. I am driving it last 4 months. Automatic transmission.
Thank you for sharing the video on MG Hector. I have been driving petrol automatic DCT model since 2021. I am not challenging what is being spoken about the mileage in the video as everyone’s experience is different and unique. According to me mileage depends on many variables such as tyre pressure, way of driving like start stop breaking and acceleration and also the RPM. Driving at less than 2000 RPM does not guarantee a better mileage. Plus you should also look at the size and weight of the car. This car has the heaviest body in the segment which provides the confidence of unmatched safety. I am not boasting here but I am happy to mention that I get 15-16 kmpl on highway and 10-11 on city roads. While driving I ensure that I maintain RPM at just above 2000 and tyre pressure at the recommended psi. I do not unnecessarily accelerate or do start stops. It all depends how you drive. If you are not gentle or kind on these points with any car, even Creta or Kia will not give you mileage above 10. On the issue of information on the ‘Range’ with available fuel, let me make an attempt to make everyone understand that the range is calculated by the onboard computer of the car based of the last rate of mileage at which the car is driven. Thats why every time you top up the fuel to full tank at the time of refuelling, you get different range. This reading changes after you drive the car on highway at a reasonable speed for few kilometres. When you unplug the system from battery and then re plug, the onboard computer resets the range to the ideal/standard mileage rate set at factory. Trust I am able to explain. Enjoy this car which offers so much at such a competitive price!!😊

I am a proud owner of MG Hector Plus CVT sharp pro.. even though early days and it has just been around a month.. but I still feel the the interiors are top of the line.. And I’ve driven cars like mustang, camaro, audi a8 and ford edge while in the US… trust me.. the drive experience is so good for Indian bumpy roads. If for once, you can take a leap beyond mileage, you wont go for any other car in the market for a price tag of 24 lakhs.. ❤❤❤

@@sindhukish I live in New Delhi and hence skipped the ADAS model. Practically speaking, ADAS is not meant for crowded places. It’ll keep braking while detecting any obstruction and for a crowded city, that is too much work for the brake shoes (which mind you are quite costly for both XUV and Hector). Hence opted for the SHARP Pro model.
@@sindhukish plus, nothing against the XUV but honestly I cant find the rationale behind the price gap of 5 lakhs between AX7 L and the Hector plus sharp pro cvt. You get all that one can imagine for 24 lakhs with the hector. XUV charges a premium price of 30lakhs for the same. So much in the name of ‘Indian’ manufacturers.. lol.. And then on some facts, my elder cousin already owns the xuv and his feedback did not score well against the MG.
New Facelift of Tata Harrier or Safari are facing Technical issues ,Engine issues shows Tata and Mahindra scorpio has Technical and Quality Issues too. MORE than after sales service is a major problem for every Owners
There is no comparison between Mahindra SUV and any other brand SUV…Tata has the worst after sale and service…MG is the car with full of bugs. Mahindra is selling more than 30k SUvS every month 3 to 4x more than any other brand. And Mahindra has improved the service too…

@@alimony4golddiggerslol far from the truth.. my car broke down due to battery end of life and needed to be towed - the service centre ensured the guard collected the car, made space for it to be parked and I got my car in 2 days.. the break down was on a Sunday evening post 7 pm and my warranty is no longer in force but i was arranged a flat bed RSA free of cost.. I am from Navi Mumbai and would rate all 3 service centres as A, the Nerul one an A+ service is a personal experience and you cannot make a sweeping generalised comment
Bhai jo average show hoti h wo tumare driving style ke hisaab se aati h. Battery reconnect krte ho to reset ho jati h value. For ex. Meri hector 500km dikh rhi thi and I travelled from lucknow to noida, and then noida to gurgaon. Total was somewhere around 650kms aur gurgaon aake bhi gaadi mei 70km ki range bachi hui thi.

Hai, please update the software version thn u won't face any problem in touchscreen (because even I have faced the same problem but after update of software version there are no issues at all) when u visit for next car service or else u can just call them and ask for latest software update they will do it.

Eco mode isn’t made for what he is talking about.. Mileage isnt a problem at all. I get 9-10 mileage easily in city with no mercy on gas pedal. He doesn’t know the concept of how car shows mileage, resetting doesn’t actually change the mileage. Do the review with someone who knows cars.

The explanation for so called battery trick for range is here. When you disconnect the battery it will reset the driver's drive pattern and assume the company rated maximum mileage and shows the range according to that. But he is a fool to assume it will give the range any different by disconnecting the battery. It will give the same once you start driving as you normally drive

Manuual switch for high cooling AC switch near to clutch. After cooling u can go normal cooling by pressing the same switch. For ac at the begining infotainment is not required

Is Gaadi ke do sabse bade drawbacks hai. Pehla Turbo lag aur dusra poor mileage. I own Hector plus 6 seater DCT 2021 model. The car is tailored for a comfortable ride and a seamless driving experience. However, the above two issues persist. In terms of mileage, it gives around 7 to 9 in the city and up to 12 on the highway, which indeed burns a hole in your pocket.

What nonsense…..stable nahi hai ? 100-110 kmph pe confidence nahi hai ????? Owner ko sense nahi hai aur he is sounding like nontechnical 😂😂. Madhya pradesh se telangana drive krke gaya hu mai khud sharp pro variant cvt turbo, more than 50 times 130 kmph touch kiya hai aur ek 150 kmph touch ki hai gadi maine khud aur average speed maintain ki jo vo thi 90-110 kmph…. Average nikala hai 13.5 ka. Stability is just amazing, breaking is amazing. Its a ship. Aur lag lag kr raha hai…..every electronic system has its own response rate in milliseconds. Touch screen prefect hai, nota update aate rehte hai system mein update karo mast. Its a proper machine with almost zero cons. After making a long research and reading several pdf materials and after taking 16 test drives jisme se hector ko 3 time test drive kiya just to be sure. I can easily say its the best in class. Best in its segment.
Two questions for owners - 1. Bouncy ride. Have heard it rides like a boat. How bad is this experience? and 2. That touchscreen being laggy and controlling the AC, resulting in waiting for it to boot when the ignition is turned on and dying in the heat till the time the AC kicks in. How bad is this? Please answer honestly folks 🙏🙏

I'm lover of MG but as bro's said there infotainment system not work properly means much more lacking & bumpeeiness start after 100 and lacking in Eco mode so these are the problem comes in this SUV. If my message reach to MG i will say please improve it very quickly B/c i want this, but firstly they should be improve their infotainment system

Diesel mileage kya hai ?
Eco mode isn’t made for what he is talking about.. Mileage isnt a problem at all. I get 9-10 mileage easily in city with no mercy on gas pedal. He doesn’t know the concept of how car shows mileage, resetting doesn’t actually change the mileage. Do the review with someone who knows cars.

The explanation for so called battery trick for range is here. When you disconnect the battery it will reset the driver's drive pattern and assume the company rated maximum mileage and shows the range according to that. But he is a fool to assume it will give the range any different by disconnecting the battery. It will give the same once you start driving as you normally drive

The car is tailored for a comfortable ride and a seamless driving experience. However, the above two issues persist. In terms of mileage, it gives around 7 to 9 in the city and up to 12 on the highway, which indeed burns a hole in your pocket.

@@ParasGabaa We have 2 MG cars in our family..I own Astor Turbo Savvy 2022 model and my brother owns Hector Plus Sharp CVT Petrol 2021 model...Both are awesome vehicles..If mileage is not a deciding factor, MG cars are really good..Comfort, looks, build quality, features, interiors, after sales service everything is top notch..

What nonsense…..stable nahi hai ? 100-110 kmph pe confidence nahi hai ????? Owner ko sense nahi hai aur he is sounding like nontechnical 😂😂. Madhya pradesh se telangana drive krke gaya hu mai khud sharp pro variant cvt turbo, more than 50 times 130 kmph touch kiya hai aur ek 150 kmph touch ki hai gadi maine khud aur average speed maintain ki jo vo thi 90-110 kmph…. Average nikala hai 13.5 ka. Stability is just amazing, breaking is amazing. Its a ship. Aur lag lag kr raha hai…..every electronic system has its own response rate in milliseconds. Touch screen prefect hai, nota update aate rehte hai system mein update karo mast. Its a proper machine with almost zero cons. After making a long research and reading several pdf materials and after taking 16 test drives jisme se hector ko 3 time test drive kiya just to be sure. I can easily say its the best in class. Best in its segment.

Two questions for owners - 1. Bouncy ride. Have heard it rides like a boat. How bad is this experience? and 2.
