I bought MG Hector Blackstorm Petrol CVT on the 16th of May 2024. Excellent Car! Superb built quality. If you think about comfort and safety, mileage is a secondary thing. XUV 700 to TATA harrier also gives the same mileage. I am satisfied with MG.
You are correct! But xuv has insane power on the expense of low milage

How much mileage you have got ?
I own a hector petrol and a glanza petrol . In last 15 months of ownership i have driven hector approx 17k kilometres with an average mileage of 11.3 km/l , while to my surprise in the last 2 full tanks it has been reflecting the mileage of 16.02 km/l , my driving was totally oriented for better fuel efficiency and mostly on highways.
While my 10 months old Toyota Glanza with 23k kilometres on odo reflecting an average fuel efficiency of 21km/l

I sold my CLA 200 and chose the Hector CVT top variant instead. Honestly, the only car that caught our eye while sitting in the Merc was the Hector. After a year of ownership, I’m more satisfied than ever. Coming from a Benz, I don't feel like I'm missing out on features, and the Hector has massive road presence too. I also have a Jeep Compass 4x4, but the suspension and ride quality of the Hector are far superior. For long rides, my family always prefers the Hector, despite its lower mileage, because the comfort is absolutely worth it. Harrier and Creta owners are quite envious!

I also own MG Hector Cvt petrol 5seater from since last year June 2023 and almost I drove more than 6000km and Hector CVT Transmission is very smooth and comfortable and yes hector is sturdy and heavy built up quality, seats are soft and comfort for mostly long drive... My family member's are very much happy with MG Hector...👍👍👌👌...
Hi Hrishikesh...recently I took the test drive of Hector CVT & I liked its smoothness drive, sturdiness, feature rich & luxury ambiance but bit confused of buying because of the milage concerns. Very good car but if you are concerned about milage then don't go with Hector. Otherwise drive quality, Comfort, Safety, Cabin space, Music system, Boot space awesome!!!! I am very happy with Hector.

25 lakh ki car lekar usko month me 500 km chalate ho aur adhiktar dusri car chalate ho mileage ke chakkar me to bhai 25 lakh waste hain fir.
Aapne Thik kahaa. जिसको luxury or comfort चाहिए और long distance drive karna ho, wo kharide. City driving ke liye kia aur creta lelo. Hector jaisi car ka maza long drives mein aata hai, koi 200/300 km aek saath bhagao, khula road, music aur comfort, Enjoy life!!!
Driving this Beast frm almost 1.5yr. I hv Hector Plus CVT Sharp Pro. Superb drive.. Super cabin exp.. Super built. No regret over Xuv or anyother brands. Mileage bekar ka badnam hai.. I m getting 9-10 kmpl in city and highway 12-14kmpl without any issue. Post sales service is superb.

Bhai meine hector automatic li hai 3 months back..milage thoda issue hai jo k mujhe pehle hi pta tha ..is range mein bahut cars dekhi but Jo feel hector ka Aya vo kisi car mein nhi aya.cabin is just like 5 star hotel

Very good choice, excellent vehicle, love the build quality and interior.
I too made this wise decision of going with MG Hector plus CVT.
I am gtng an average of 11, trick is to avoid hard acceleration and practice idle start, stop for turbo charged engine.

bhai car lene me itna drama nhi karte hain. Car socho aur jakar lelo. Itna agar paise kamaane me soch lete to car ki price se kai guna paise kar lete.

Hector lene wale sab pehle se jante hain average ke baare ma,. Agar aaj ke time koi bole ki mujhe to pata hi nahi tha to wo isse jhelne ka hakdaar hai bhai. Treat it like a puppy after paying for a tiger.

I got a Savvy Pro which is the Top Model for 24.55 lakhs.
The model in the video which is a lower variant is 23 lakhs on road in delhi. The model in the video does not have Adas also.

Please do not compare this car to xuv 700, xuv is super powerful car, and capable car for all the terrains, but fit and finish is better in hector, xuv is one step above car
For your statement that this vehicle has a small engine. If you remember Ford Eco Sport used to come with a 1.0 litre turbocharged engine which was more powerful than a 1.5 naturally aspirated engine.. Now just imagine hector with 1.5 litre turbocharged engine.. It’s not underpowered.. Its is a car for luxury and smooth drive..
