I just re-downloaded BO2 on a PS3 my girlfriend got me for my birthday to play some older games. Been having a blast on BO1 and BO2. BO1 surprisingly still gets a lot of players, more than BO2! I wish people would just drop the current games and go back to playing whatever their favorite CoD was, on their respective and proferred platform. Letting the servers slowly re-populate. No reason to force yourself to play something you don't want to because it's new (not aimed specifically at you, just the guys who keep playing the current games and complaining) and just go play the games that you want to see remastered because they're clearly done with that. It's all about reboots and microtransactions now. Goofy ahh characters and twenty minute story modes. Or play Helldivers 2 lol We're currently getting our asses KICKED by the bots and it's a lot of fun I swear 😂😭
Sledgehammer refused to work on it because they were already called in to fix MW3 and they refused to do it again, not tarnishing their reputation. Those dev teams take turns for a reason so they can have a few game cycles to work on their respective CODs.

I think a lot of people forget Treyarch has had this game cooking for 4 years, and supposedly they are actually "believe it or not" ahead of schedule. So this means they are probably good to start working on next years too if they haven't already. I think sledgehammer could assist treyarch, but it's understandable for sledgehammer to not wanna help as lead due to what's happened to their studio.
Especially considering even though they were called in to help, IW got the last say on most of the stuff for MW3. So Activision asking sledge to come in and help was merely a case of "do the work, don't get any decisions and get blamed for it sucking"

@@arctichelix6733 this is treyarch, they've almost never had misses, the only miss id argue is BO4 but it was 50/50, cold war was well received and vanguard and MW3 didn't have full hands on deck from the whole team at treyarch so of course those are misses, and with infinity ward, they've messed up so much so I can see why you'd get mad at MW2. I think 4 years of development time is great and this is probably gonna be the more polished version of both mw2 and 3, despite being on a different engine, it'll feel very much treyarch at heart.

This all started with Cold War since sledgehammer helped with that, and that caused problems with vanguard, which created a domino effect.
