What sucks about overpowers weapons nowadays is that all the sweats melt lobbies with it and by the time the casual players find out about and then they have to level up their weapons it gets nerfed into the ground

@@SpeedyKhaled this never happened in the old ones. there were no live updates for games so it initially had to be good, the code was written and launched as-was, which is why guns used to be very balanced. The way it used to work was every gun had its own advantage and disadvantage and you picked your favorite and learned how to be best with it.

Pre nerf razorback needs a mention. It was literally next to the vesper of being that broken. I remember Ali-A doing a video on it and the day later everyone used it

that first IW clip is terrifying. imagine seeing your buddy get blown up by a grenade launcher, then you get melted by the meta.
COD Mobile used to be a nightmare of too much OP guns like the P2W HBRa3, S36, MSMC, PDW-57, Akimbo Fennec and Akimbo Deagles, NA-45, MX-9 from BO3 and etc. Can you make a video on it?

With the budget and studio size that COD has, there shouldn't be any broken guns at launch, they should be tested properly and balanced before the game releases.
Facts, but they only care about money over balancing, anti cheat, bug fixes, the community, servers, f2p, map design and not fairly paying their devs

The "The most op weapon is the obsidian steed" and then proceeds to play a clip of the gun missing every shot might be the best thing i saw today, btw I personally think that the insanity was better just because the first bullets that it shoots went faster and thus giving more advantage on 1 on 1 situations.

Definitely my favorite and somewhat underrated Cod ever
I played a LOT of warzone with the buddies in lockdown and we started since warzone started and ended with caldera, the DMR was by far the most overpowered gun in the entire game since it took like a month to get nerfed and you could beam people with a super fast semi auto rifle that 2 tapped to the head. I’ll say that since I have a really good trigger finger I was frequently squad wiping teams of 4 by myself.
I personally thing the CW aug meta was worse. Every gunfight came down to who shot first, because one burst above the stomach would kill, and the fire rate was beyond crazy
DMR and MAC-10 combo was the most broken combo in wz imo
Literally the second most op gun was the proteus sniper shotgun hybrid. Go in Hardcore and hipfire one guy and get a few more kills that you didnt even see at all. Literal aimbot and I remember it being patched within a day I think

Another thing about the mp40 in waw was that if you took any of the other smgs that it beat out and put them in modern cod. They'd be the most dominant guns in the game. Also, you forgot that the mp40 with stopping power was a osk to the head.
The fact IW was in this video for most BROKEN gun and the PROTEUS wasnt brought up is a crime. in hardcore, if someone was anywhere on your screen, you literally just shoot and kill every player in front of you regardless if they were behind a wall or not. that gun is the MOST BROKEN GUN IN COD HISTORY
in my opinion, in infinite warfare the nv4 flatline was the most annoying and overpowered weapon ive dealt with in that game.

In cod mobile the most OP weapon is fennec (vector), And that gun already quite OP since first released. even after get nerf, the gun still dominated the meta
CoDM has all the great guns from MW2019 they are all great. I actually never tried the fennec tho I played the game for a lottle while
The crown for most OP weapon most go to the model 1887. Like Marleythirteen says so well in one of his Old videos “a shotgun with the range of a f*cking ballistic missile”.
But MW2 was just a clusterfuck of OP weapons. Spas-12, G18 akimbo, raffica akimbo, UMP-45. But man i miss the peak of that game, so much fun and nostalgia

World at War introduced me into Call of Duty my sophomore year of college. I think I got shot like 10 seconds into first match 😂😂.
I loved meta-defining weapons like the cod4 M16. It sort of “drove the combat loop” of more competitive matches

I have a few from MW 2; SA-B 50, Iso45 and 9mm, and the Daemons pistols with akimbo.
That mp40 extended mag is was a haunting in call of duty 5. Not lot of call of duty players these days didn’t experience those days.
The Akimbo 1887 was hell on hands imo, i know that days very well
I remember getting shot through walls across the map by the AS Val when playing Team Defender. It was the most broken gun ever. I almost thought someone was using wall hacks.

The Whitley i. Vanguard was way more powerful, when it released it was an lmg that could kill in two bullets. Combine it with fmj and piercing vision and it was the most broken thing in the game

I get why you chose the vaznev but mw22s most op gun was the iso hemlock. That gun killed in 2-3 shots at any range and it took like 4 nerf updates across multiplayer and warzone to get it in check 😂
NV4 flatline was my favorite one because when I first played infinity warfare, I got it from my Supply box no it’s like level one or five

The pp bizon in mw2 2019 is quite good but asval does take the trophy 🤣
That asval wasnt talked about much. That gun had the bullets that shot across the map and on S&D you HAD to lay on the ground the second the round started
Crazy how no one mentioned the pre-patch proteus from IW which literally had aimbot. All you needed was the enemy hitbox to be in your field of view to hit them

I would have put the mp7 for mw3 and m16 for cold war. Cold war's m16 before the nerf was very reminiscent to cod4 m16, being put in a game with 150 hp. Other than that, a solid list my guy. Had a nostalgia trip 😁

the best mw3 2024 is the in Soa Subverter, Hrm 9, bp50 conversion kit, MCW conversion kit, Renneti conversion kit, mors, and bas-p honorable mentions season 1 KATT AMR, WSP swarm.
Even tho it wasnt mentioned, in Bo2 i feel like the Peacekeeper was probably the most OP weapon (even tho the PDW was strong. At least it was free for everyone), just because it was the first "Pay2Win" Weapon in CoD history until it was nerfed.

No, the stg 44 from vanguard by far. No recoil, 3 shot kill, it was banned from pro play day 2 of the game

Pre-patched Proteus from IW had an integrated aimbot that only required you to be close to the enemy to kill them you didnt really have to look in their general direction

Ah yes, the Obsidian Steed. I unlocked it within my first week of playing AW on my new account and stuck with me as I got better and used other guns for more balanced gameplay.

Honorable mentioned to the launch version FAL, which with select fire became full auto with no damage or range drop off, meaning you could 2 tap people at pretty far distances

But it also had rapid fire, so imagine a AK74u but, on steroids
Combine it with assassin that made you undetectable to everything and you have a very scary combo
As for the FAL, it only lasted a few months from launch, and it was broken
Tho somehow, while they nerfed the FAL and Chicom with select fire, the M8A1 wasn't so it was still very strong

Aside from the M16 I never remember a gun being overly imbalanced in a Call of Duty. For me and alot of other players you would just pick the gun you liked the most and felt the best to you and you could have fun with it. Now you have to be on top of what's the new META this week, what got buffed, what got nerfed, what attachments are broken, what has this hidden ability, you can't just pick the gun you like and have fun with it, there's 0 uniqueness anymore. META's have literally destroyed modern CoD.

I agree with almost every choice except the as Val in 2019 cause it was op at first and shortly patched to be decent but nothing released came close to the mp5 that gun was op
Are u joking? The Val was still a 2-3 shot kill in the game post patch. The MP5 was OP but got hit with some nerfs and the Uzi was more OP than the MP5 was pre patch.

It’s was ridiculous, maybe one of the most OP weapons in COD ever. You didn’t even have to shoot the enemy you could shoot at the ground and kill them. Nobody ever mentions this gun so it goes to show how many people played BO4. Don’t know if you’ve played BO4 recently but the Hades w/ crossbar honestly might be just as good. It’s literally impossible to play the game once SBMM kicks in because it’s that broken. I constantly run into teams of people who use it and once they call their streaks in it’s game over. You literally can’t even compete unless ur using the same gun, VMP, or cordite.

@@MM-su4gu in terms of damage it was better but I’m pretty sure it was a supply drop weapon so it’s availability and overall usage was way lower. That’s why you never hear anybody talk about it other than not many people played BO4 consistently to that point in the lifecycle. Everyone has access to the Hades though which allows for whole teams to use it. I’ll never forget the pre nerf stingray though. Might be the most broken pre nerf gun ever but I usually go based off of the current version of the game.

Vanguard dual shot gun with buck and slug rounds
No hate but the range of the 1887's is kinda realistic buckshot can reach 30 - 50 yards (90 - 150 ft) Birdshot can reach about 25 - 40 yards (75 - 120 ft)
and slugs can reach close to 50 - 100 yards (150 - 300 ft)
I kinda disagree with the Vaznev being op, taq 56 was everyone’s go to weapon. Even tho it was a 5.56 weapon, it could kill u in 3 bullets in short/medium range and 4 bullets from long range
