this was a great video thank you so much. Now I have a new project to work on with the grandkids when we go camping. I appreciate the work involved to make this possible. Keep up the great crafting.
they have this new invention on here called the fast forward button. if you dont want to watch and learn then click on it. saves ya time from writing a complaint later.
Very nice video. You explained it very well. I love watching video's outdoors. The inside ones quite ofter have loud music that makes it hard to concentrate on the lessons. I didn't notice a lot of noise in yours. Guess I just didn't hear the train everyone speaks of...LOL. Anyhow, thank you for the lesson. I enjoyed watching.
Im thinking,,they would make good tie belts the skinny/thin belt is the new fashion ,so won't need more than ten strands LOL and it could sell well for you , that little white n yellow strap I can see it as a belt with beads hanging on a woman this summer : ) you said u like to see your things being used lol there you go : ) .. a black belt with jet beads would be pretty or clear string with chrystal beads.. no limit to the belts.. even chokers ..lol ok im done : )
it would take forever, but it would be SOOOO fun to make like a crap ton of yucca cordage, then use it to make s strap like this but like an inch and a half wide :D
Hi Thank you for the video, BUT... I must have missed something? I saw no reason for that second set of strings that you had on the Left side when you removed the whole thing half way through? I like the spiral pattern very much, Thanks again, but I think I'll stick with loom weaving powder horn straps, much easier. God bless: Stoney

Awesome your tutorials are so simple !
thank you for showing how to make this weave
I like that half and half approach; it helps avoid messing around with the really long tails, trying to keep them from getting snarled!
I second this.
Thanks very much for teaching me how to do that.

So basically you can use this pattern for any amount of strands as long as the amount of strands are even?

Cool
if i need a 3 foot finished belt. how long must the stands be when i start?
he said 3-4 times longer than what you want the finished strap to be so 9-12 ft
What would you recommend making the straps out of?
jute works great
+Ernest Van Tent no hemp is cannabis fiber, jute is a separate plant
why didnt you just go to the other side of the line to continue it? am I missing something?
Your such a sweetie! :p
