awesome video but a helpful hint is to wrap all that string on a small stick and use it as a sewing needle type thing so u don't have to pull that string through every time, it also speeds it up a ton!
When I was watching this, and I saw the dog walk through. When the dog first walked by behind the trees, I seriously thought it was a mountain lion. Haha
Yours was the coolest looking one so far! I like the rustic, natural look of it! But, yeah, I'd want to decorate mine with the feathers and beads. : ) thanks for sharing!
I love this.. It is so much prettier than the artificial looking ones I see in my local Crystal shop.. I want to give it a try.. I love that its made from earthy products.
I will be making a dreamcatcher, I think that is just what the shaman ordered:) Thank you for sharing your knowledge. My the nightwnd bring you good dreams and strength of heart, mind and body.
@wbworkout thats very noble and a it shows yoiu have a great spirit but i really recommend that you take the profit and help ppl in your direct association....not much that goes into relief funds actually ever reaches the ppl.....but i assure you that there are ppl in need very close to u regardless of race that need help...GOD bless your helpful spirit
Well Joshua, I'm a bit reticent about giving my location here in a public forum, I'm sure you understand :) I'm not super savvy when it comes to computers and websites and such( heck I type with about 3 or 4 fingers) so..maybe there is some way to do a private message? By the way..I recently watched a vid about using sage as a smudge( I am a bit familiar with this) . It featured an elder who has 24 years of new life after dying to drugs and alcohol. It was very inspiring and simple. Be well:)
You're alright dude, too bad we live so far apart..I think we might be good friends. You have some useful knowledge. Who knows maybe someday we can jam..hehe..I don't have good equip to post more vids..but thanks for stopping by the channel:)
@bamabuckster1 @bamabuckster1 when i lived on the mountain i walked around barefoot in the winter and you know how tracks in snow grow to twicee their size in sunlight...well i always imagined someone walking along and seeing on of my tracks and screaming "BIGFOOT!!!!"...lol
i have a problem tying the knot in the center at the end of making the web, but i have only used sinew but still i do a knot and it doesn't stay!!?? its frustrating cause i have made a few dreamcatchers and still having a problem with that. anyways, i really like your style dreamcatcher, its nature like and pretty cool. thanks for sharing. I guess ill have to try some jute.
@bamabuckster1 i am cherokee and yes i do walk around barefoot most of the time but they make me wear shoes in restaraunts and stores...my show size is 14....lol

i love the sound of wind blowing through the trees... Reminds me of a raging river.

Thank you very much, Josh. Keep up the great work !
We use Weeping Willow branches. You could use Oak if you strip the bark and soak it long enough, though!
I love how u went through the step so clearly to make sure we understood them!
Thank you so much for this video! I love the less synthetic and more rustic look of the one you made. Lovely!

You just gave me an idea. You know that dream catcher would make a great hammock if you can get a larger sized ring.

@SoulSaneAngelis it is just everywhere..by far the most common vive besides poison ivy....but u can use any flexible stick instead of grapevine.....

I also think if you have a Michael's or Hobby Lobby, they might have some.

With sinew, if you can't tie it to stay, you can generally burn it to stay after being tied.
can u use a thicker jute.
Can you find grape vine in southeastern PA? I tried to find some grapevine or something similar in craft stores locally but can't seem to.
@wbworkout btw what dvd?
thanks :)
I know that, silly. I am a native. I was referring to a practical use ;)
can i use yarn or thread??
