Welcome to Van Life in Scotland. Over the next 2 weeks I roadtrip around Scotland in my basic van set up doing the very popular NC500. In today's video we start our Scottish adventure by heading up the East Coast, visiting attractions along the way. In this video we stop off at Loch Morlich, Loch Ness, Chanory Point, Rogie Falls, and Tarbat Ness Lighthouse.
I will be creating and sharing a map showing and marking out everywhere we visited, parked up and checked out on this trip.

Personally I can’t wait to share these Scotland van adventures with you, as it felt so good to be back on the road seeing and experiencing new places.
Ive tried to include as much travel advice and tips in the videos to help any of you wanting to do this roadtrip in the future. If you have any friends or family that are wanting to do the nc500 then make sure to share the video with them as there’s lots of useful information.
I am in the process of creating a map that will mark out all the main attractions, where we parked up for the night, fuel stations etc etc, so keep an eye out for that!
As always the videos will show lots of raw and real van life related moments with some epic landscapes thrown in there.

I signed on with your really original and genuinely interesting stealth camping in the Galaxy and I also enjoy the van builds but this "play squeeky youtube music, get the drone up" youtubing is so uninspiring. I cant believe 21 people disliked the video! I pick my van up today and start my conversion journey this week. I decided, as a disabled person to have it converted for me though it will be to my design. My aim is to follow fellow camper van youtubers like your good self and do the NC500 myself. My hubby and I came over from Australia and got married in Scotland 20 odd years ago. We had our wedding dinner at a fish and chip shop in Dundee and it was a great time. Haven't been back since but still love the place. :) Loving the vids. Keep it up.

Looking forward to watching this! I did the nc500 a couple of years ago just before I had my son and life changed forever. Such an important road trip for me and husband. It’s phenomenal- if anyone’s thinking about doing this. Go. Now. We also did the anti clockwise thing and added all sorts of stuff on to it too. X

I live in Stirling and love living in Scotland. I did the north 500 3 years ago and it rained nearly every day. It’s beautiful when the sun shines.
The Fife coast is really nice as well. Maybe try that area and up to Aberdeen next time . I’m glad you had fun. 😀
