Ahh you've made this 47 year old bloke happy posting this. I had it on VHS when it came out in 1993 when I was 20. Absolutely loved it. It was perfect to stick on to watch and chill out to after coming home from a good night out back in the day. Absolute gem!
This takes me back to the time when I was just a lunched out hippie raving my arse off. We didn't have much in the way of material but we had each other and we had hope. It was a very beautiful time. Big love to all
Thank you for posting this I owned the vhs back in the 90's it had a set of glasses with it. It was amazing watching it when i came home from the clubs! Perfect chill out material to wind down with. I thought I would never see it again, lost the tape years ago!
Me too I lost the glasses and the tape. Now I got this one though :D In 1996 me and a mate arranged 'Rainbow System House Party' in Trondheim, Norway. We had bought a big number of these kaleidoscope glasses and it was included in the ticket for everyone :D
There was a chill-out club I used to go to after the others would close that had different spaces playing different stuff like this. Perfect place to walk over to and wait for your brain to work again before driving home.
Now that's a flashback 🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓😀 certain places in the FSOL video are locations in my local area so when this VHS came out at the same time as we were expanding our imaginations it was just fuel to the fire.

Wow, I never thought I'd ever see this again! I remember the first time I saw it, sat in some guy's house, tripping on mushrooms and wondering what on earth it was I was watching. It came with a couple of pairs of refracting glasses which, when sat sufficiently far away from the TV, would spread the image across the entire room. It was incredible (although I may have had my memories sufficiently altered at the time!) I went to the Virgin Megastore (remember those?) and bought it on VHS, only for my video to shred it the second time I played it :(
Just watched this again after many years. It has always been one of my favourite videos and introduced me to lots of new music. I have just watched this UA-cam vid on my TV (my tape is too knackered) with the pseudo 3d turned on AND wearing BOTH my TV 3d glasses AND the original refracting chromatic glasses which came in the box for maximum ridiculous effect ha ha. Awesome! The video box also has a stylised envelope marked Future Shock Survival Kit containing 4 postcards with stills from the various tracks on the video. One of my favourite moments has a cgi face who picks a magic mushroom and eats it and the video gets really trippy lol. Great music and timeless.

good point, but I think it's because TV and music industry changed. You also had techno and heavy metal on MTV back then but not today.
