good looking renault technology and build quility
Très beau prototype Renault Premium Hybris. Très bel intérieur futuriste avec les sièges fixes, un tableau de bord numérique et le bouton START/STOP (pour démarrer ou éteindre le camion, plus besoin de clé). Le vert domine.
Dévoilé en 2007 au Salon du camion d'Amsterdam, ce camion a permis à Renault-Trucks de répondre à la crise écologique/climatique avec la motorisation hybride diesel-électrique. Résultat, par rapport aux motorisations thermiques, les émissions de CO2 (gaz à effet de serre) et les nuisances sonores ont baissé. L'électrification des camions (d'abord les camions de distribution, dits porteurs), 12 ans de travail chez Renault-Trucks : de l'hybride (concept Hybrys de 2007 et Premium Distribution hybride de 2010) à sa propre motorisation 100% électrique (2019) en passant par un partenariat avec PVI (2011). Quant au tracteur routier électrique, la firme états-unienne Tesla est très en avance par rapport à ses concurrents.
C'est en 2010 que le fabricant français Renault-Trucks a lancé le premier camion hybride de série : le Premium Distribution Hybrys. Les entreprises qui en possèdent sont : Colas; Carrefour; Norbert-Dentressangle (aujourd'hui XPO); Coca Cola, la ville de Mulhouse, bref,...

the roads and infrastructure in europe are way smaller than in the usa, and a cabover ( flat front as you call it) has a
smaller turning radius, and can haul a longer trailer with more payload, because
18 meters is the max here in europe, so every inch of cargo space does count overhere, and that's why you don't see
american trucks with a large bonnit overhere.

Well I made some concepts drawnings of my own with trucks having their nose more into a point. I want to start a school project about it but he says its not original enough.... :/

dude, european trucks have 6 and 8 cillinder engines with 300 up to way over 600hp. Check my other comment for the real reason why we europeans have cabovers.

What´s the deal with the concepts . Build the damn thing!!! In ten years from now you´ll here them say oh yeah we had made a concept but sombody lost the blueprints.
