The terrain pieces are great! We make ours via foam blocks, hot glue and loads of crazy paints. A bit rough but it’s like cutting your own firewood which warms you during the cutting, the stacking and the burning. the design building and then playing with crafted terrain makes it more than it is. Have a happy New Years!
Adding to my day one comment. It's this whole fantasy wargaming experience which is so brilliant. Buying terrain, or kit bashing your own. Developing your whole narrative on the table. Love it.
Love the snow spray idea. Interesting how the tower was painted. A lot of the Frostgrave terrain can most definitely be used outside of frost grave and that has tickled my fancy.
Justin: "… walking me through what you have selected, to build the city?" My brain: "WE BUILT THIS CITY! WE BUILT THIS CITY ON ROCK AND ROLL!" Gerry: "Obviously the main thing is rock and roll."
Well done on the table. I think the choice to go with the red stone turned out great. I also like the concept of placing the main table in the center with bit surrounding it. Should give the game an epic feel!
Great tip on the spay on snow I honestly would have pointed sprayed and made a hash of it. The natural coverage as on the barrels looks very nice indeed
I was actually planning to paint my next piece of terrain (rampart eternal cathedral) in a sandstone look. Thank you for showing me how it's done. Your frostgrave table looks absolutely amazing.
I've been looking at these kits for quite some time but I've yet to see them built and on a table. They look amazing (especially the ruined tower). Thank you for doing this video!
Nice table so far! I love the difference when making frostgrave terrain compared to 'normal' games, it looks more realistic having loads on the table. Good idea with the spray snow!
Interesting to see a different color palette used. I’ve liked cold grey-white ruins ever since playing ES IV Oblivion, but you made this warmer hue work here, as ruins being exposed by the receding snow & ice.
I am building terrain for Frostgrave right now and have been debating with myself about whether to go heavy on the snow effects or not. Nice to know I’m not the only one.
I have a photon zero I could possibly print out some small terrain pieces..you guys have provided so much info about this game..thank you guys for you channel..keep up the work
The big pieces are nice, but its the little pieces (like the barrels) that just really pull the table together. Fantastic job.
I absolutely LOVE the way the spray flock snow came out on the terrain! I never would’ve expected it to look so nice.
This looks superb and thanks Gerry now got "we built this city" stuck in my head!!!
Same :D
more like : Gerry built this city
there's been very little 'we' ;)

I love that center piece. The amount of levels and gaming surface in and around it allow for some much tactical flexibility.
Love the snow spray idea.
Interesting how the tower was painted. A lot of the Frostgrave terrain can most definitely be used outside of frost grave and that has tickled my fancy.
"I am the inspiration, you are the perspiration" love that, going to steal that.
Love the warm colors to contrast the frozen background

My brain: "WE BUILT THIS CITY! WE BUILT THIS CITY ON ROCK AND ROLL!"
Gerry: "Obviously the main thing is rock and roll."
Right, same here ^^
I laughed way too hard.
I love Frostgrave! It's fun to play, the mechanics are simple, the scenarios are interesting, and you can use your existing collection. Thanks Joe.
Those kromlech sets look magnificent painted up and with a light dusting of snow!
These look so good. I'm deeply envious.
Fantastic spread of terrain. Great idea to have it built on Rock and Roll.
Jerry! (2:38) That was the best Starship reference! Hahahaha
Starting with a picture from the book is a great idea. The redder stone is a great departure from the common grey.
What a great scenery project, I'm really enjoying Frostgrave week.

I've got the song in my head now, going to have to watch the video clip next.
Love to see something other than cold greys, really nice work
The artwork looks awesome! Also enjoy the narrative style play.
I love the whole vibe of Wizards searching out ruins for ancient magic! These ruins look gorgeous!
That's a nice looking table. Plenty of variety and still very playable.

Watching all the Frostgrave vids I can find. Seems like such a great game
Great tip on the spay on snow I honestly would have pointed sprayed and made a hash of it. The natural coverage as on the barrels looks very nice indeed
"I'm the inspiration, you're the perspiration!"
Great. Brilliant!
Bravo!

The snow can idea looks great! I’m gonna try that!
That terrain is so cool
Those are lovely mdf kits - I'm loving that broken tower set!
Great Job Gerry! This all looks fantastic and immersive!
@Gerry mcCabe the contrast is fantastic against the board and snow. Nothing wrong with the classic gray stone... but this is very cool.
I was actually planning to paint my next piece of terrain (rampart eternal cathedral) in a sandstone look. Thank you for showing me how it's done. Your frostgrave table looks absolutely amazing.
Once again Gerry has a pearl of wisdom I must steal! “I am the inspiration and you are the perspiration!” Priceless!
I've been looking at these kits for quite some time but I've yet to see them built and on a table. They look amazing (especially the ruined tower). Thank you for doing this video!
Top tip on the spray snow to quickly up your game. Also great to see colour choices other than the ubiquitous grey stone.
Came out awesome at the end. I just got into painting and table top and this game looks pretty cool.
That table looks amazing, I’ll bet it will be super fun to play on.
Loving the series this week, great to see this scenery laid out like that. The silent tower kit is fantastic. Very imposing.
Nice table so far! I love the difference when making frostgrave terrain compared to 'normal' games, it looks more realistic having loads on the table.
Good idea with the spray snow!

Graveyards and haunted houses, perfect compliment for any city. :)
Super table as ever. Great snow tip to get the most from your work. Get them in January sales for extra savings.
Finished Belltower and Mausoleum, working on City Ruins now. Awesome game and awesome terrain.
That terrain is so nice. Im building the bell tower and the merchant house. REally happy with them.
I must admit i like the idea of the moving table, really cool idea :)
I'm very excited for the tables and the games you'll hopefully show us on them!
Never knew kromlech made such terrain pieces. Need them for my table top!

That silent tower kit looks so awesome! Cant wait to see some games played on it
Oooh here we go, so excited for this, got a warband ready to go!
Nice to know about these kits. Look fantastic!
I've never seen MDF terrain look this good. I'm very tempted to get that tower set now...
awesome table, really sets the theme for frostgrave
The colours look amazing.
I love Frostgrave and it got my wife back into games because wizards. She loves it. Can’t wait for more stuff.
Interesting to see a different color palette used. I’ve liked cold grey-white ruins ever since playing ES IV Oblivion, but you made this warmer hue work here, as ruins being exposed by the receding snow & ice.
Great stuff. Very jealous of that table set up!
Both the game itself and the Kromlech terrain look great.
Those look great. I’d love to see some of that on my table for several different games. It’s so versatile
I am building terrain for Frostgrave right now and have been debating with myself about whether to go heavy on the snow effects or not. Nice to know I’m not the only one.
The terrain looks amazing!
These terrain kits look excellent, well done on the build
Excellent work! Love to try your techniques!
I really like the cemetery. Frostgrave sounds interesting and I will have a look at it.
