- This video is about the meaning behind the words "Be like the Bison" and why it means so much to me, and why I chose to create jewelry with these words engraved.
I first shared about these words in an earlier video that I made almost 2 years ago, I have linked it down below if you would like to watch it.

After I shared that video a lot of people found strength in those words just as I did. And then I got the idea to make myself a necklace with those words engraved, since they had helped me so much. And that's how the idea for these designs came, which I created together with my mother Anita and my husband Johan.
This specific video was first made for my webshop, since I wanted to have an explanation to these bison jewelry designs on the product page. But then I thought I wanted to publish it as a video on UA-cam as well, since I think these motivational words deserve an own video.
I know there is plenty of people out there who also can find a lot of strength in these words.
And you don't need any jewelry at all to get the power from these words. Carrying them in your heart is way more powerful. The jewelry is just a bonus and something I wanted to create just to have as a beautiful accessory with a reminder of this message.
Our mindset can really change everything in our lives. It's beautiful how just a few words can be really transformative for how we confront life, if you choose to charge them with that power you have within you ♥

Dear Jonna, i finally bought this necless, which i love to wear. The message explains exactly my way through a really tough and long snow storm, in which i had to guide through myself and my two wonderfull little children. the message made me so proud of myself, and that is a feeling that i need, to give me the power to continue. I am proud to be like a brave Mother Bison.

Oh Jonna…your words have brought tears to my eyes…we lost our 23 year-old child unexpectedly on October 3. In the span of 19 months we lost my mother, my brother-in-law and my mother-in-law - and our hearts were already aching, but the loss of a child is indescribably painful and that pain changes you in a profound way. Yet we still live. We still must go on. Like the bison.

Dear Jonna, this made me cry a bit. I've been going through a terrible time this past year. So terrible that I couldn't even watch your videos, because I thought they would be wasted on me, since I cannot feel any joy right now. I wanted to save them for when I was able to feel as delighted as I used to watching your videos. Today I dared to try it and I feel like missing all your videos actually made everything worse because I took one more source of joy from my life. I will watch all the rest now. Instantly when I saw this necklace, I felt a connection with it and wanted it. Now that you explained the meaning, it means a 100 times more to me. I got diagnosed with a tumor in my liver 2 months ago and its been very hard to deal with. I have a very strong social anxiety, so to just meet up at the hospital is very scary for me. Yesterday we had a snowstorm. When I pulled my children on a sled back from daycare I told myself exactly your words: "Be like the bison"!
The video comes at the right time. Got a message today that totally throw out of the train. At the same time really good things happend to me the last few days and weeks. This is something i have always done since i was a child, i didnt realize it had a name for it, so to speak. The thing i have found hard is that by walking head on into the storm so often, it is very difficult when the storm is not there.. that is a balance i have not managed to fully gain as yet.

I live in so-called Canada where thousands--maybe millions--of bison used to roam freely. There are now some being nurtured to live wild in the national parks again, and they are thriving in the national park near me. There are farmers who raise them so they are part of my food source. They are an amazingly majestic and naturally resilient creature. I never thought of it quite this way before 'be like the bison.' Thank you.

I lost my husband five years ago to cancer and my sister-in-law also to cancer. Two years ago I also lost my husband's parents to covid. However, I have five children who expect me to stand strong and continue life, showing them that we must live every moment of our lives as consciously as we can by doing good. It wasn't because of this video, but luckily I had come to the same realisation a little while prior as well..... I had almost daily panic attacks at some point, sometimes really bad ones, where I would almost lose control over myself and scream and throw stuff.. sometimes breaking things.
One time when the panic and stress and fear was once again rising - and nothing I tried to calm myself helped - I decided, for a few minutes, to just let it be. Just let the panic and fear be. Even though it was terrifying to allow those feelings ~ I thought they would surely get worse if I were to let them run free.
But then they passed ^^
It felt like a hot wave of something inside my chest. The fear and panic felt bad, but at the same time I also felt an incredibly _good_ feeling. The feeling of release. Release of aaaall of that tension that I had tried to suppress. And after a few of these "waves", most of the panic was gone.
I have barely had any panic attacks since then. Be like the Bison. ❤
I have read stories of bison chasing people. I have seen bison drawn on cave walls. Until now I never knew they faced the storms. I am in awe. I will always see their strength from now on. Thank you ❤️
These four words gave me strengh to fight my depression and stop antidepressant in january. It was a long and tough way but I'm feeling so much better now 🌿🌻

When you first mentioned "Be like the bison" last year (2021), my mother has just passed away and I had the task of taking over the care of my elderly father and mentally disabled brother - as well as mourning her loss. I put those words up on my letter board to remind me every day that I will get to the other side. The storm was wild, but I made it through.

Thank you, Jonna. I’m a Christian, but I tell you that I cry daily because of the trials and heartache I face. People often tell me to “Give it to God” but it is not so easy to do this. The bison give me a strong feeling, something physical and strong to look at. When I get paid I want to buy an antler ring too. I’m just in a bad place financially and physically living somewhere that is difficult. Your heart in these videos shine and give me such encouragement. Bless you. ❤️

Trust it with all your heart and mind that God will help you. I am a born again believer in christ. I used to reject him and tried other religions like Buddhism but i was feeling more depressed and desperate. Meditation or yoga never help me and back then i didnt know that i was opening doors to spirits. A dream change my whole perspective thanks to God's grace and i start learning who Jesus is and what he really did for us on the cross. I also start searching for peoples testimonies and near death experiences lead them back to Jesus and only Jesus.
Since then i find real freedom and peace you only need to ask Jesus to revealed himself with all your heart and you wont be disappointed. All glory be to God!

@@bakfx77 I truly did the same. We are a Norwegian family and I was atheist to agnostic, to pagan. I opened my heart and wanted to know who Jesus was. I began to listen to people’s testimonies, and then I even had to figure this out on an evidential standpoint. The shroud of Turin is what got to me. The night was so profound when I believed in Him. God spoke to my heart and said, “Child, your heart is in the right place, but you are seeking the wrong thing. You should accept Christ.” And it wasn’t a command, it was so gentle. It was “You should.” I got up that evening and got on my knees and confessed out loud, asked for forgiveness, cried and cried and surrendered my life. Days later I felt a change… and my heart was different and it stopped me in my tracks. All I could do was want to tell the world. But I lost many friends in the process because they thought I went insane. I’m now a Sunday School Teacher at my Bible following Christian Church, and my new family in Christ is so wonderful. I've left Christianity after 13 yrs. I was a very strong believer but it wasn't enough to have Jesus as a mediator and I realised it was pagan since the Jews who have the OT know the scriptures better than anyone and in the original languages. I discovered that we can go directly to the Gd of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Ever since I returned to Him I've been home. My worlds turned upside down but I realised how different the OT was from the NT. NT about hell when OT don't mention it much. Because a loving Gd doesn't make after life threats, he tells us how to live so we are blessed and He tells us the consequences in this life if we don't. There's so many scriptures that make it so obvious a blood sacrifice is not required. Gd can simply forgive and have mercy on us if we repent. Yes we can repent. He gave every human thr ability to. Anyway, I dare you to look and see how many times in the OT He forgives sin and pardons people. The blood sacrifice was only for accidental sin.
Anyway it's my journey and people think I'm going to hell now for not believing in the NT. It's okay. But if I'm right, there alot of people in idolatry who don't know it due to ignorance of the OT texts. He who is thirsty may this come into your heart. Hashem is bringing back His lost people.

Mi-au adus aminte de mama, mama mea a fost toată viața ei o luptătoare, un adevărat bizon, cea mai bună mamă si cel mai bun prieten, o personalitate deosebită și specială, un om - comoară, o femeie frumoasă și unică in felul ei. Mi-ai reamintit că trebuie să fiu și eu un bizon, un luptător adevarat si sa nu cedez in fața greutaților, știu că mama acum este îngerul meu păzitor. Iți mulțumesc mult că ai venit tu acum , cu mesajul tău atât strălucitor și cu atât sens adânc!
