I was halfway through installation, stuck at the P-clip, and had to leave to meet a friend for coffee. Stopped by a hardware store on the way home and got the 30mm long M6 bolt suggested, and it made installation possible (not easy, but possible). Saved me a ton of frustration.
Lacking a 30mm bolt, my solution was to superglue the chimney nut to the p-clip, and fit the other end of the p-clip -the right-angled one - to the outside of the hugger. It took me and my wife a lot of cursing and angst before hitting upon this solution!
@@cubbysue Not yet - been away and haven't had time to edit/upload. Turns out official 'shorts' need to be filmed in portrait mode. Nooope. No. nada. ;-)
Another fine instructional video, but it does raise a few more questions that you may not have considered. Firstly, do you have mayo in your egg sandwich and/or cress? Why are boiler suit sleeves always so long? Or was it a hand-me-down from a much larger family member? Finally, have you thought about doing one of those ASMR videos for motorcycle enthusiasts?😉✌️
Mayo, I'm not a weirdo! Boiler suit is 2 sizes too big for wearing over warm clothes in the winter. Specially designed to never quite fit properly. Legs also rolled up... I do like a bit of unintentional ASMR - high praise indeed 😂👍
The ending made me laugh! Thanks for posting this. It really does help others. Ride safe.
Ha, cheers. Nearly didn't post it as it all went to sh1t... I might start with the whisky next time ;-)
@@MultiVogon Thank you for the vid - just ordered one myself, great advice! :)
@@hensola let me know how you get on!

Oh don't remind me, I'm having flashbacks now thinking about that damn clip! :-D

I feel your pain !
Great stuff...thanks.
Great video. Any chance you'd post a picture from the rear to show just how ugly the mud deflector really is?
Not sure where to post a pic, but I will try to do a short video walkaround (oh no, is this going to be my first UA-cam #short? )
Did I miss the short? Still curious what the rear view looks like.

🙂
Simple solution! don’t ride the bike in the rain😂
Living in Wales, that means I'd never ride my bike at all 😂
Audio is really weak.
I know, as are the production values, camera work, scripting, editing and performance. But I do what I can with what I've got!! :-D
