I can relate to this soo much, I've literally tried pdm delina, delina ex, delina la rose but I really can't stand them but I felt the need to keep trying as others really hype it up. I really appreciate this video.

I loved this video! I've been really into fragrances since about April last year so I'm currently in the phase of testing lots of niche and working out what I do/don't like, and what I think is worth paying more for, how things fit in with my lifestyle etc, and having someone just basically say it's ultimately what is worth it for you is actually very refreshing in a world where so many fragrance channels love a lot of the same very expensive perfumes. Really enjoyed this video and will be working my way back through a lot of your older ones now 🙂 thank you for your views!
For me and my taste: Byredo- same feeling although I do like maybe 3 of their fragrances. Nobile 1942- only liked la danza 😬 Zoologist- didn't like any! 🤯 Amouage- same feeling Parfums de Nicoli- only liked 1 or 2 Le labo- didn't really like any. If anything maybe another 13 and bergamote 22 but don't think I'd purchase full bottles. Diptyque is another where it's a hit or miss. I have fleur de peau and do son. I sampled many others and wasn't thrilled. Etat libre d'orange: bought their large discovery set and only really really liked 'I am trash' Niahane- also bought their huge discovery set. Liked maybe only 3.

Also, I’m from USA but my grandparents immigrated from Italy as young children with their parents, my grandmother from near Sicily and my grandfather from the North in a small town. Culotta and Mortilaro were their names, anyhow I want to visit one day.
your memo buying guide led me to tiger’s nest… i respected that you admitted that it wasn’t your cup of tea, but it would be for incense lovers 🙋🏾♂️. so now, i’m beginning a memo journey with eau de memo being next. fragrance should (indeed) be about functionality as it is meant to be worn, no? and honestly, br540 was unimpressive to me as well!

I also learned the hard way with following trends and blind buying. 😭 My first niche was Memo French Leather (love...bad ass work boss scent). However, I love br540, and the original Delina (waiting for my Ouijan sample 😁). I love that we all find our way differently! Please keep up with what you do!
Also - hyped up frags that don't work for me: I don't actually try a lot of hyped up scents as I think a lot of reviewers on youtube have quite different tastes from me - I don't tend to like oud, spicy, heavy, leather, tobacco, boozy notes etc scents and I feel like most reviewers tend to like darker scents than I do, although appreciate it's winter now and most people tend to lean towards warm scents this time of year in particular. So even though I still like hearing about scents, I know that at least half if not more are just things I'm unlikely to personally enjoy. I've been very underwhelmed by the Montale frags I've tried and to be honest just don't think they're for me for the most part. I liked Rouge Malachite but not sure I get the hype on that one! It was nice enough but that was about it 🙂
Rouge Malachite is a classic example in my collection of a fragrance that I didn't like so much, but still got it for the hype and now it's sitting in my collection and everytime I see it I get upset
Truly appreciate this video. 👏🏻 Although, I do love Delina, however I understand that fragrance is very subjective. There really isn’t anything wrong with liking what you personally like whether it’s a celebrity scent, designer, luxury, or niche. People simply need to just stop fragrance shaming or attacking others over someone’s preference.

Je ne suis pas une personne qui coure après le "hype", j'ai plutôt tendance à faire l'inverse, donc tous ces parfums célèbres ne se trouvent pas dans ma collection, c'est vrai que je suis plus "collection privée" ... MFK leurs parfums ont une longévité et projection médiocre à mon nez bien sur et je déteste au plus haut au point BR 540 😂, PDM bof à part chez les hommes ou l'ont trouvent des pépites, Amouage je ne m'y retrouve pas ... sauf leurs créations de l'année dernière j'ai craqué pour Material contre toute attente 😅 Xerjoff, BDK, pour ce que j'ai testés rien ne m'a interpellé .... Moi j'aime bien Byredo même si je trouve que leurs prix sont excessifs, Dyptique, Miller Haris, j'ai un essentiel de ma collection dé chez Goldfield & Banks ... For me the fragrances from Frederic Malle didn't work, but I've only tested about 9-10 fragrances from them. Anyway, Portrait of a lady and Musc ravageur really didn't work out for me. For me also Ylang in gold was a disappointment and I've gave it to my mother because it was too sweet for me. Grazie per il video!

Come anche tu sostieni trovo queste linee più di qualità, più particolari ma allo stesso tempo mettebili. Secondo me i brand niche più easy sono PDM, diptyque, BDK, o ISABEY PARIS ma ce sono tanti altri che vorrei testare presto come ad esempio CORETERNO, Sylvaine Delacourte, Frassai, Masque, Tauer, Aedes de Venustas! Quale brand testarai prossimamente?
I'm dabbling into niche territory but am very hesitant because I'm really into designer fragrances which a lot of people consider boring and plain, for the most part. I fall for hyped up perfumes easily because they're usually mass pleasing which also means it's a safe blind buy. I always blind buy my fragrances no matter the cost, as long as the return policy is good. I see no problem with it.
There is nothing wrong with any fragrance as long as you enjoy it. You must be from the US because here you can't returne open products unless they are damaged 😔
I only interesed in niche, because the designers are all the same artificial, syroupy for me. Niche can provide for me the "quality" (most of the time) There are some niche, what are the best for me, and I could easily glindbuy their new scents: BDK Parfums de Marley Maison Francis Kurkdjian Amouage Casamoratti Mezinsir Ormonde jayne Half love: xerjoff, tiziana terenzi, Kilian, Bond no 9. , Montal, Nishane, Memo, M.Michallef - love them, but not every scent. I dont like, and I gave up on them: Tom Ford, Initio parfums, Guerlain, Nasomatto, Creed, Byredo, I don't interested in: Roja, Fragrance Du Bois, Diptique... Just honest...

Your not the only one. I don't really like BR540 or Delina either. They're nice but nothing special, way overhyped.
