I've had one for over 8 years now, it was easy to install and works great. It has weathered well and looks the same as the day I put it up. The company are also good to deal with. My only issue is with the remote control you get two but compared with the quality of the door they seem cheap and both of mine after 8yrs have stated to play up. Autoroll charges £20+ for replacement which seems expensive considering they look like the £3 ones off Ebay. Still don't let that put anyone off this is still a fantastic garage door.
I have a timber built garage. The only fixing points above the door space for the roller box are short drywall studs. However the fixing points for the runners are substantial timbers either side of the door space. My question is: How much weight of the roller mechanism if any) is borne by the runners and is such a fixing suitable?

Almost all the weight is on the side runners. The top section only needs light screws to stop it tipping forward.
Thats amazing !
anybody bought one off these doors or fitted one?
