@refi350 I think so to. There's a ton of new players coming in so I really wanted to put an emphasis on how important those boosters are from the main warvond

Flamer Sentry has been liked by my peers for keeping friendly fire manageable and the directional shield has covered people doing dumb shit... I often like, lower it to let rockets go by and pop it back up for laser fire. Feels damn good with one handed primaries, the senator and grenades. Need me a Verdict to see how it does.
@@faerie7dragon Urban legends is just a really fun warbond. The verdict is my absolute favorite pistol in the game aesthetically and I bring it all the time with pretty much every build because I just think it's cool and it has a ton of shots
@@Claysthetics I just got the fire warbond last night, unironically the orange mech skin was one of my main reasons, that and the fireproof armor (ik killzone armors are more versatile, but the flamethrower is my favorite bug support weapon)
Cutting edge is the first warbond i have recommended to friends. Followed by demo detonation. The breadth of different primarys is so nice in my opinion. Strange seeing it so low on the list for bugs.
I need a stealth based warbond: Against bot i'm a stealthdiver, and thanks to the new melee weapon i can now even save up on knife, I legit solo hard objective just be being sneaky, so far i am running the diligence sniper to snipe enemy from far away, without being detected, and the revolver for a worst case scenario with knife, since it make no sound when u kill smth with them i would use autocanon to clear fabricator once i'm done with most ennemies but i would love to have a silenced weapon, and while i love the scout perk, i would love a variant of it that reduces noises too, maybe even a stratagem that make you invisible for some time, like what illuminate are supposed to have (cloaked unit)
That is so annoying that I messed that up after double checking everything thanks for pointing that out. EDITING THIS BECUASE WHATS EVEN CRAZIER IS THAT IN THE TIMELINE FOR MY VIDEO EDITOR IT'S THE RIGHT SCREENSHOTS BUT IT RENDERED IN THE VIDEO WRONG REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Steeled veterans in 5th is criminal. Best sidearm in the game( youmight argue for grenade pistol on bug due to bug holes, but personally the ability to 3 tap hive guards and brood commanders + one tap every small enemy including warriors is too good), one of the best bug guns in the incin( use siege ready or have the senator for ammo econ)and a pretty decent passive and grenade. Now that I think about it it is bug oriented, but it does give you the undisputed best sidearm for bots, so.
The stimpistol shouldn't be so underestimated, it may not be meta, but it creates a new way of playing, a new "class", (stim pistol + medic armor + Experimental Infusion + Supply Pack) you become the team's medic. Is it the best way to play? No, but it is a new way and we should encourage more equipment like this.
I just wish the stim pistol was easier to hit teamates with, one of the builds that was in my main video was the arc stimpistol build so you can stim your friends and arc through them.
The problem with the stim pistol is that it is impractical to bring. Unless you can aim you wont be hitting running teammates. If you could stim yourself with it then i would use it a lot more.
well, I'd say buying all the Warbonds is inevitable, and eventually, you'll hit a point where you have 250 medals maxed out and no more Warbonds to unlock. after that, you're left with just emptiness and those 250 medals with nowhere to use them
Democratic detonation was the worst warbond at one point but now it is really goaded. I would switch chemical agents and freedoms flame but that I because I like flame thrower weapons and the cookout is op af. but other than that agree.
It's actually crazy that at one point in time everything in this DD was the worst and best in the game LOL. A lot of people in chat when I was streaming were torn between freedoms flame and chemical in that slot. I valued the gas grenade over the torcher/cookout even though I used them all the time becuase fire cool.
Excellent video, also I’m curious as to your thoughts about a couple changes that I and many others had in mind regarding the upgrade/modification system (be as honest as possible, no feelings are being hurt here) - armor transmog/passives system: being able to apply any passive from any armor on to any other armor piece light, medium, or heavy (transmog) and also I thought it might be interesting if maybe we could get a system where you have 3 potential armor slots (helmet, armor, and cape) where the lower class armor passives can be applied to each one (this would mean splitting up current passives that have multiple effects such as med kit passive giving you both 2 additional stims, and 2 extra seconds of stim time, but now they are divided apart and are deemed as “lower tier passives” that each take up one slot )giving you more diversity and options. OR you can equip a large passive that’s more powerful that takes up 2 or sometimes even 3 slots. Idk what arrowhead would deem “powerful” in terms of passives, but I think that being able to combine lower tier passives would be great, like maybe you want servo assisteds throwing range, but your build would also benefit from the engineering kits holding capacity, and then for your final slot you can take the scout armors radar scan effect as well. And for team play, they could just include an option to show which passives they have equipped so that your squad can better tailor specific roles around this, rather than the CEO’s dumb excuse of “being able to tell your teammates passive from what armor they have equipped” because I never remember anyways. - personal Helldiver upgrades/ passive and booster conversions: I think having a system similar to ship module upgrades but it being able to be applied to Helldivers individually instead would be cool, they could just call this the “armor and equipment” modules or something. And the conversion part of it would be things like stamina enhancement and vitality enhancement being some of these things that are now apart of this system rather than being a booster, and also things like hellpod space optimization should be converted into a ship module, as a lot of QOL things are forced into being boosters/passives and I think some of them should be permanent upgrades you can eventually earn. Obviously these changes would buff our capabilities and potentially make the game significantly easier, so some slight balancing with the enemy designs, mission difficulty/objecitve designs, etc could be made to keep that difficulty but also allow for us players to have more variety and diversity within our own experiences with our equipment and chooseable upgrades, and overall player expression would be significantly improved, and would help players from feeling like “that was BS” 24/7. Game should rely on challenging but manageable situations and conditions/enemjes, that are completely capable of being delt with by the players skill and decisions. I think this game tries to limit what we can do and what we have in order for “artifical difficulty” where things are only ever really difficult because they are out of our hands and cannot be managed like ragdolling and extremely low health, etc.
Cutting edge is the first warbond I got after farming up and I dont regret it at all. I’m just watching this for when I finally finish farming up for another one 😭
In defense of the crisper, in my use of the niche play style of gas + fire. If you light the ground on fire (like 1/4 of a mag) + a gas grenade, any voteless that walk through are just dead, letting you ignore them to focus on bigger enemies. Haven't used it against bugs or bots but against squids it rules when paired with gas. For people who want to try such a loadout: Freedom flame + Chemical Agents are my top 2, I actually don't use any other warbond against them. Cookout + Crisper + AMR or HMG + Gas Grenade + Killzone armor. Any other strategems are optional, though I take orbital gas, recon vehicle, and HMG Emplacement. It also works on Bugs, though I prefer torcher+Bushwhacker over cookout+crisper, and anti-tank emplacement over HMG emplacement for bugs. Support weapon vs bugs can be replaced with anything that'll kill a bile titan. Requires 2 additional warbonds, but frankly Freedom Flame + Chemical Agents are top tier for me except against bots.
A lot of the power from gas comes from it's disorientation. In my eyes, the Sterilizer is an amazing support-focused weapon. I usually use it to kite bugs around, confusing them, and in turn providing a safer space & more breathing room for teammates. From there, let them to do the heavy-hitting. The Sterilizer is a tool moreso than a weapon imo.
Motivational Shocks affects stun now, it reduces the stun duration on you by a pretty noticeable amount and I think you recover from the stamina drain by stun faster.
Hey Clay... been watching for awhile and loving the content. Idk if youve got a video or advice on sample runs. Sad to say i cant play often because of work so im not able to improve my skills but id like to at least upgrade everything. Any advice or anything would be nice 🙂
At the end of this video I talk about what to do for just building fundamentals to be a loot goblin with the chart for the easiest missions to do it in. ua-cam.com/video/rpwHv1PHLjs/v-deo.html This also depends on the tier you play though we usually sample blast in t10s when we need them on nurse missions. What tier of difficulty do you usually play?
@BronySnowfall not alone. I got a high tier by accidentally staying with a group who decided to crank the difficulty. If I wasnt against bots using my rocket-man build I would of been slaughtered. Well more slaughteted. 😆
@BronySnowfall I see well my guides on how to improve faster are coming out over the next 2 weeks so hopefully those help you out. For now I would reccomend whatever the highest you can do is on the nurse seeds/constellations as I think it's the easiest mission to complete then just spam looting. The other option is search and destroy missions but it can get hectic at the end in pub lobbies. Last time I tested it I had more people throw clusters and 380mm barrages at extract making it a little more difficult than it needed to be lol
@@pedronunez1265 No problem, I made sure to include video of all the weapons that come in them just in case someone wanted to visually see what they all did. Thinking about it I probably could have done all the skins for the ships and Mecha to. Maybe when I update this in the future I will.

(Flex pick) Eagle Air Strike This is support technically bc it is hard to solo eradicate missions with, but with even 1 teammate it will do all the heavy lifting. Step 1. Pick out a nice perch Step 2. Call in AT Emplacement Step 3. Call Airburst Launcher Step 4. Profit You can kill anything in line of sight with this. Have your teammates storm positions and just tag stuff for you and you can hit the delete button on literally everything from chaff to Factory Striders. Democracy protects ✊️

I really wanna play this game. Since it’s come out, but all the meta talk scared me. Scares me still. I don’t see a “as long as you’re having fun” argument anywhere. I feel like I have to sit down and take notes for every possible scenario in order to know what to bring… and how to play. I appreciate the images that try to simplify information but as a 0 hr newbie it’s still a lot. I can’t be alone in this. But oh well. My loss I guess. Thanks for the info either way.
You should watch my builds video it's very fun focused first while being well balanced for blasting and this is also very focused on the most fun which also happens to be the best weapons/gear.
@@benares180 don’t give up helldiver every warbond has thing in the packs that could optimize your play style based on his video he makes very great points on what warbond to get first plus with the free one they provide they give about almost 800 super credits to almost get another warbond. I went with the free one until I had enough to get democratic then jumped on the gas one I might wait to get either urban or steel vets
Good rule of thumb is: 1 gun for lots of small enemies 1 gun for big enemies (usually explosive) 1 grenade for either small guys or big guys (depends on what you feel is scariest) 1 strat for small guys 1 for big guys And the rest is for fun
Don’t let the sweaty max difficulty players scare you. Difficulties 1-4 it doesn’t matter what you bring. 5-7, you need to have a loadout that makes sense. 8-10 I barely play myself and I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. By the time you’re ready for mid tier difficulty you’re going to understand the game enough to easily pick loadout. Definitely get Democratic Detonation first. The explosive options are so good it gives you flexibility elsewhere.

@colton2680 before, gas strike would kill all the small enemies (scavengers/hunters/small bots) within 3-4 secs, and most of the other bugs and bots if you damaged them prior to gas. The "confusion" effect is hit or miss for me, 95% Bots still target me and bugs still chase me. Hell warrior bugs speed up and 2shot me in a sec almost everytime. New gas would likely kill hordes of illumates, maybe even the overseers, since their armor is what makes them tanky.
I feel like freedoms flame should be above chemical agents. The gas grenade is really good, but everything else is just meh. In Freedoms Flame you have the amazing torcher which just eliminates bringing the flamethrower so you can bring something else like an autocannon or wasp launcher, and the cookout which is also super good and one of my favorites as well. Firebomb hellpods suck. In chemical agents, The sterilizer is very underwhlming and so is the gas guard dog. I dont even want to talk about how bad the stim pistol is.
Have you ever heard of B rated action superstar machete truly inspiring and I think that this word should be for him now! I hope you also found sound reasoning in this logic of the proper way to pronounce the word.
Then go for fire because it is the easiest damage to land in the game then the rest is up to you because a lot of the weapons are OK but you can beat any mission in the game with these two
I don't buy crossbow only because it's so op that I don't want to ruin the gameplay for myself (how is this thing better than Eruptor in almost every way still remains a mystery)
Cutting edge is top. Weapons for all factions, and stun grenade is great for when you are just starting out. RR now killing fabricators makes stuns + sickle a great level grind loadout. Remember kids. Stun your friends if you see them getting swarmed in cqc. Youll get your first "thank you!"
@@ClaystheticsI like the verdict a lot. Crisper is slept on. Very powerful against squids and bugs to run away and set the ground on fire behind you that the enemies chase you through and die.
The reason why people kill other Helldivers, that use the Stim-Pistol, is because for them it looks like you are trying to shoot them with a normal pistol (If you are missing) and nobody likes to be randomly shot at, they think you are a griefer. It happend to me and a squadmate, we were confused why that one mate was shooting at us and then later realized that he was using the Stim-Pistol. tl;dr People often dont pay attention what type of weapons other Helldivers are using, and think from the getgo that its a griefer.
lol I own them all cuz I play the game all the time and don't mind supporting the devs, it's the only live service game I've been playing all year until Marvel Rivals came along
Viper commando should be dead last and its not even debatable that warbond is a joke My list would be: 1. Democratic detonation, full 2.Helldivers mobilize (free one); get hellpod and vitality booster as soon as you can, and maybe stamina booster. Scorcher is prob one the best primaries rn but it alot of time and effort to get. This warbond also has one of the best grenades that being Impact grenade. 3. Polar patriots; Purifier and Verdict, Amazing primary and great secondary. 4. Cutting edge; Blitzer & Stun grenade, armor that works great with Tesla coil. Some other weapons but I never really used them. 5. Any other warbond it doesnt matter imo, I would go maybe for Chemical agents for the gas grenade but it really doesnt matter imo, rather max the Free warbond.
People will respond with "But if you die in the middle of the mission you might not have access to resupply and end up in a death loop." If you end up in a death loop you weren't using the extra ammo you got from the booster anyway, so its a waste, and if you don't get into a death loop you should be able to find or call in more supplies.
If you're so poor that you can't afford to buy super credits, then you need to stop playing video games. You need to go out and get a job. If you can't get a good job. I don't know I think it's just me and the boys know what it takes to win and we're not playing as sweaty. I'd rank it a little bit higher for new players that want to use heavy armor. Especially if they're playing against the bugs and heavy armor for whatever reason.
Tier list is accurate though.
@@unrelentingduress Glad you liked the list I tried to make it so that most new people had a few streamlined options because you need so many warbonds now. I also use heavy explo res on the bugs quite a bit for some technology with explosives and for clips but now that we have the car taxxing a strat slot we kinda just zoom anyways.
I think for farming a regular stamina enchancment beats dead sprint every time
@refi350 I think so to. There's a ton of new players coming in so I really wanted to put an emphasis on how important those boosters are from the main warvond
I really like Urban Legends, I started recently and bought the new hot thing and I feel everything is useful to a degree.
The verdict is my absolute favorite pistol in the game aesthetically and I bring it all the time with pretty much every build because I just think it's cool and it has a ton of shots
the orange drop pod makes it easier to see before the update that placed the marker on the map for resupply.
@@herosupport1606 I love the big orange mech becuase it's so silly
@@Claysthetics I just got the fire warbond last night, unironically the orange mech skin was one of my main reasons, that and the fireproof armor (ik killzone armors are more versatile, but the flamethrower is my favorite bug support weapon)
Cutting edge is the first warbond i have recommended to friends. Followed by demo detonation. The breadth of different primarys is so nice in my opinion. Strange seeing it so low on the list for bugs.
Did not know about the gas grenade being that good.
Thank you.
I need a stealth based warbond:
Against bot i'm a stealthdiver, and thanks to the new melee weapon i can now even save up on knife, I legit solo hard objective just be being sneaky, so far i am running the diligence sniper to snipe enemy from far away, without being detected, and the revolver for a worst case scenario with knife, since it make no sound when u kill smth with them
i would use autocanon to clear fabricator once i'm done with most ennemies
but i would love to have a silenced weapon, and while i love the scout perk, i would love a variant of it that reduces noises too, maybe even a stratagem that make you invisible for some time, like what illuminate are supposed to have (cloaked unit)
there was a leaked silenced liberator a while ago, but nothing has come of it so far.
Hey Clay, at 18:26 you start talking about Democratic Detonation but have all the warbond pages from polar Patriots. FYI
@@Claysthetics I feel your pain Brother.
If you could stim yourself with it then i would use it a lot more.
well, I'd say buying all the Warbonds is inevitable, and eventually, you'll hit a point where you have 250 medals maxed out and no more Warbonds to unlock. after that, you're left with just emptiness and those 250 medals with nowhere to use them
Hey Clay, how does Righteous Revenants fit into the warbond prio.... OH WAIT, they canned it!😢😭
Democratic detonation was the worst warbond at one point but now it is really goaded.
How do you spin the revolver?
My character doesn't spin it.
Hold down reload button while standing with it out. You can move and still spin.
8:56
Okay, a hard change to make but a cool one would make it so ammo packs can give you throwing knives.
Excellent video, also I’m curious as to your thoughts about a couple changes that I and many others had in mind regarding the upgrade/modification system (be as honest as possible, no feelings are being hurt here)
- armor transmog/passives system: being able to apply any passive from any armor on to any other armor piece light, medium, or heavy (transmog) and also I thought it might be interesting if maybe we could get a system where you have 3 potential armor slots (helmet, armor, and cape) where the lower class armor passives can be applied to each one (this would mean splitting up current passives that have multiple effects such as med kit passive giving you both 2 additional stims, and 2 extra seconds of stim time, but now they are divided apart and are deemed as “lower tier passives” that each take up one slot )giving you more diversity and options.
At the end of this video I talk about what to do for just building fundamentals to be a loot goblin with the chart for the easiest missions to do it in. ua-cam.com/video/rpwHv1PHLjs/v-deo.html
This also depends on the tier you play though we usually sample blast in t10s when we need them on nurse missions. What tier of difficulty do you usually play?
Same boat as you. Try to get the personal order done whenever possible for the extra medals.
Currently my highest tier is 6... and I struggle because I basically can only play a few hours every other week
Haven't watched the video yet but I like the thumbnail. It's very neat and clean looking
Thanks for the vid man. I saw struggling on which warbond to get
@@pedronunez1265 No problem, I made sure to include video of all the weapons that come in them just in case someone wanted to visually see what they all did. Thinking about it I probably could have done all the skins for the ships and Mecha to. Maybe when I update this in the future I will.
Anyone else have a problem with the smoke from the dominator literally blinding your aim?
@@preservinglight Only in the car hot box
@Claysthetics that's weird, it almost always obscures my aim after the first shot, could be my mid settings but I don't know, thays only reason I don't like using it
Turning the flashlight off helps a little, but it's definitely annoying, yeah.
I got truth enforcer just for the drip.
Then there's me who ground out around 10k SC back when you could grind a solid 1,600 an hour then switched to just buying SC everytime the devs make a good change because the best way to let the devs know if theyre heading in the right direction is with our wallets 🤝
RIP pummeler
Got a build here I'd like anyone to try out, made for Super Helldive, Bots
1. Airburst Launcher
2. AT Emplacement
3. (Flex pick) Rocket Sentry
4. (Flex pick) Eagle Air Strike
This is support technically bc it is hard to solo eradicate missions with, but with even 1 teammate it will do all the heavy lifting.
Step 1. Pick out a nice perch
Step 2. Call in AT Emplacement
Step 3. Call Airburst Launcher
Step 4. Profit
You can kill anything in line of sight with this. Have your teammates storm positions and just tag stuff for you and you can hit the delete button on literally everything from chaff to Factory Striders.
Democracy protects ✊️
If you take Stim pistol, you HAVE TO write it in the chat: I am taking Stim Pistol, when I shoot you I heal you.
Sounds maybe stupid, but This is the way. Others will acknowledge it and won't shoot you, they will run towards you for stim etc.
Fire sentry is great. It's practically got unlimited ammo and with the shorter range I find it doesn't tk as much as the other sentries.
The loyalist is my go to side arm currently
A friend had mentioned to me that the kick emote does more damage than the lance.
Good rule of thumb is:
1 gun for lots of small enemies
1 gun for big enemies (usually explosive)
1 grenade for either small guys or big guys (depends on what you feel is scariest)
1 strat for small guys
1 for big guys
And the rest is for fun
Don’t let the sweaty max difficulty players scare you.
Difficulties 1-4 it doesn’t matter what you bring.
5-7, you need to have a loadout that makes sense. 8-10 I barely play myself and I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything.
By the time you’re ready for mid tier difficulty you’re going to understand the game enough to easily pick loadout.
Definitely get Democratic Detonation first. The explosive options are so good it gives you flexibility elsewhere.
@@J.B.1982 completely right on this the only thing harder difficulty gives is slightly more samples and more enemies and stronger ones. It’s fun to start off lower then work your way up as you progress through the battle pass
Urban Legends armor passive is sick but the armor itself is lookin hurt imo 😢 I wish you could like.. destroy an armor and replace the passive on your favorite armor (maybe within weight class)
So if my PP (personal playstyle) is explosive action and short n quick, what does Clanta Claus recommend?
I like gas prior to the change but its still ok
I think it’s better now. I get better crowd control and a chance for them to kill each other in the chaos
The two best are urban legends, and the explosive one
Truth endorcers below viper commandos and chemical agents is absolutely absurd. No idea how either of those get so high.
What are the upsides of getting truth enforcer?
Is the scorcher s tier, or is it c tier. It kills basically nothing in one hit, has an annoying long reload, and has zero utility.
This is a great guide. I can give this to my friend, hahah
Is that how you pronounce flechette? I never knew that if so!
Have you ever heard of B rated action superstar machete truly inspiring and I think that this word should be for him now! I hope you also found sound reasoning in this logic of the proper way to pronounce the word.
No, that's not how you pronounce flechette
Him calling the Flechette rounds "Fle-shet-te" kinda triggers me.
Rush scorcher if you are actually intelligent it beats every war bond “s” tier weapon in the game by design even the crossbow
Then go for fire because it is the easiest damage to land in the game then the rest is up to you because a lot of the weapons are OK but you can beat any mission in the game with these two
Ok yeah flamethrower cooks chargers and overseers so you only really don’t need it against bots
I don't buy crossbow only because it's so op that I don't want to ruin the gameplay for myself (how is this thing better than Eruptor in almost every way still remains a mystery)
I just finished each in the order it came out, not starting the next one until I finished the one before, Cuz I need to go in order
I already knew which was number 1.
Cutting edge is top. Weapons for all factions, and stun grenade is great for when you are just starting out. RR now killing fabricators makes stuns + sickle a great level grind loadout. Remember kids. Stun your friends if you see them getting swarmed in cqc. Youll get your first "thank you!"
me watching this video when i alr own them all: very interesting
I always like asking people that play alot what their favorite sidearm is? Mine is the verdict 100%
@ Big fan of the senator, have been using the redeemer a lot more recently though on squids because it tears off their shield
@@origamifreak8152 That’s why I send a public chat message that I’m using the stim pistol so that kind of situation doesn’t happen
Did you just remove glasses on top of glasses on top of glasses? Thats pretty democratic bro
I have far more where that came from
Dead sprint is the best super credit farming booster
@@deanbenau180 if you have a jetpack + Stamina = don't matter.
treat them like pokemon
You said flechette wrong
Your wrong I said it right this is the new meta
lol I own them all cuz I play the game all the time and don't mind supporting the devs, it's the only live service game I've been playing all year until Marvel Rivals came along
This game is really easy, my teammates are more of a danger to me than the AI so it doesn't really matter what I use lol
U can farm the credits
Truth Enforcer gives one of the most useful enhancement for super credit farm
It is not "Flachetey" it is a french word and it is pronounced flay·shet
Viper commando should be dead last and its not even debatable that warbond is a joke
My list would be:
1. Democratic detonation, full
2.Helldivers mobilize (free one); get hellpod and vitality booster as soon as you can, and maybe stamina booster.
Your comment is 🤢🤮
Fleshetty 😂
Hellpod Optimization is NOOB bate, resupply is available from the start of the mission and has a 2 minute CD base, Just use that.
People will respond with "But if you die in the middle of the mission you might not have access to resupply and end up in a death loop." If you end up in a death loop you weren't using the extra ammo you got from the booster anyway, so its a waste, and if you don't get into a death loop you should be able to find or call in more supplies.
Yeah honestly mid review and mid advice you can tell this is a new player
...to late.
If you're so poor that you can't afford to buy super credits, then you need to stop playing video games. You need to go out and get a job. If you can't get a good job. Then go get some kind of education, then get a good job. Then you can afford to play video games. I'm sick of hearing people complain that they can't afford to spend $10 to upgrade their game. I don't make a ton of money. But I make a decent enough wage that I can afford to play Hell Divers without breaking myself to do it. If you're so poor that you can't afford to play your favorite game. Then you need to stop playing games and get yourself into a position where it doesn't break you to play games. It's really that simple. Video games are a luxury. Not a right.
I think you speak a lot of truth, but i argue against optimized hellpods and for dead sprint, especially for hot planets and geavy armor builds
I would agree with you, but we have truck now which really feels amazing on hot planets.
