    I so agree with what your saying, I've watched it for many years. Maturity plays a huge part, at all ages under early 20's, some ages the difference in kids maturity is almost unfair. Don't give to much attention to winning and losing and lots of attention to just improving. The other piece I don't think enough is said about is developing a competitor mentality. Let their performance mean something based on effort. All we can ask as coaches and parents is for them to do the best they can. Often I don't even remember who won or lost because I'm focused on how hard they are pushing themselves, if technique is improving, who they are wrestling, and overall attitude.

    Actually. It’s 25 years old on average till a human brain is fully developed.
