I got the Blight-Touched Egg right outside the Plaguefall dungeon. I was waiting by the summoning stone to summon people and you know, people casually dragging some mobs with them when on their way to the dungeon. So I casually looted those 2-4 bodies outside the dungeon and there was the egg lmao.
It's cool that you can walk into the Teather of Pain without being in the instance. Like getting into Zul'gurub. I'd like to see dungeon and raid interiors become part of the map after beating them (still being able to re do the instance) like Azjol-nerub should have become part of the map so you can go deeper and kill the Faceless ones
I got the Battle Bound War hound on my first time in Theater of Pain. I was only there for about 10-15 minutes. I didn't know that I has gotten it until I was looking thru my mounts. I am guessing, but I think it dropped from my first elite kill.
I hope to get these guys. On an off note, I got some sort of tome on my hunter from a drop in one of the dungeons. Does anyone remember what that could be? I found out I had to finish the legion stuff if I want to take feathermanes....christ....
The tome allows you to tame undead beasts as pets. You can get some really cool armored dinos from bfa or some of the many undead creatures of the shadowlands its pretty cool if you are into pets.
I see people saying violet mistake is a farmable, but i have ONLY seen people get it from first daily attemp... so there might be some shambles going arround the internett
After 40 mins of farming I just got the egg. Because Blizz fixed that respawn spot I kind of had to go around just kill the babies and all flayers I saw. Got it that way. Thanks for the video. Would have never known.
hello! love your channel! short story: i got the battle bound warhound and didn't realize it. i tagged the giant rock mom in theatre of pain while i was doing a quest within, but never looted him. I killed the other three elites and a rare called Deepscar that spawned within the tower and never got the doggo drop. I checked my mailbox afterwards and saw I had the warhound! I do think the drop chance is on your first kill because thats the only elite I didn't loot but somehow got the warhound. Love him to pieces but curious to find out more about him!
I Got the Egg, to get Callow Flayedwing And i Got all the Ardenwield mounts, thanks to your guides, unfortunately it is hard to get people to do the groups required to kill the bosses often for me 😅, keep up the amazing content 💪🏻👏🏻👏🏻
you got me the shimmer mist runner mount it tooke 3 tries for my little group to get it right and i said i would pay a tank 1000 gold unfortunately it wouldnt trade because of the servers something i hoped would not happen poor guy it took about an hour i am very excited with my unicorn mount thank you so much! keep up the great guides!
Just got my blight-touched egg to drop today. After watching your video, I went and farmed for it and it dropped! Mine actually dropped after about 15 kills! Not saying that it will be that way for everyone, I was just lucky. 😊😊
After I watched your video sometime before,I got my blight touched egg in the first kill🤭I was afraid of the time it would take and it was there in the first kill,first loot!By the way Maldraxxus and it’s entire content,including the NPC’s was my favourite in Shadowlands expansion (Ok may be a little bit Venthyr as well but nothing else).
Wait Violet Mistake was nerfed? The first week we just spawned it over and over again. Got the deathroc within the first couple hours on my first day and everything, kinda sad, it was a fun time for everyone involved, grouping up and working together and all
got the hulking deathroc drop while questing/leveling through that part of the map. the violet mistake kill wasn't even a rare just an elite as i had kill another creation prior, but got the mount drop any way, won't let me learn it however as at that time as i wasn't max level. learnt it once i reached 60 tho.
Killing these daily in a group / raid. Seen every single one drop for other people so far. Only gotten 2 myself. The roc off the violet slime, and the battle-bound warhound. Got it first kill of the day. pretty sure they are like any rare, only kill the rare once a day, the thing does spawn like 8 different rares, if can drop off any of them.
Bro, great video thanks for that. Unrelated question tho, im lvling a hunter aswell and planning on going marksman at 60. And dude my actionbars (all of them and extra bars from addon) are fkin FULL with spells, and i see you having like 4-6 attacks? Is that all you need for marksman?

I logged onto my alt today. Killed one two necked ugly ass bird thing. Got the egg for the flayedwing no joke. Like 30 seconds, was pretty happy about that tbh. Random bg's after that killed my happyness tho.... lol pvp is rough.

the ppl are that stupid that the violet mistake is one of the rarest rares on my server...one time i killed it, but only because there was a blue one near the spawn and they grab the blue like crazy...

The bird is still an easy farm, there is an open field of baby birds to the right of the theatre where they spawn alot, shouldnt take more than an hour to get as it has a pretty high dropchance for being a normal mob mount
I didnt know that egg had such a low droprate, I randoly got it while leveling the night of release and expected a pet or something :P 5 days later I got surprised with a new mount haha

Took me 4 hours straight of farming the egg for Callow Flayedwing. Around 1200 kills, needless to say, everyone else I saw farming got it before me :)

Farmed the egg for 6 hours and 900+ kills, people came and went for like 30 min getting the egg, i can proudly say that i endured and now have it! :)

Can no longer farm for egg, they removed the hyper spawn, no mob there anymore. There are a few further down the path but the easy mount farm is gone.

The noted spot for the Callow Flayedwing seems to have been "fixed." There is no longer an endless spawning mob there.
I didn’t know the hound mount dropped from the theater of pain. It was a nice surprise when it dropped for me.

Necrolords was destined for my Dwarf Warrior. So many awesome looking mounts to ride!
while you're farming mounts there, you can get a free ilvl 180 2h sword that also gives an achievement, great for alts

Got the egg from that same mob. Took around 200 kills. Been farming Tohantas everyday since launch no luck yet.

For the blight touched egg, I used MrGM location above and farmed for about 45 minutes and the egg dropped, very easy as a hunter

Yeah you can kill it! It just wont drop a Mount if you're not Necrolord

FYI, You need a range for the egg... so if you are soloing it without a ranged... yea :(

I leveled my warlock and killed 1 mob for the Callow Flyedwing and checked the drop% :P 5% :O
War bound battle hound is a .07-1% drop rate I luckily got it my first try
