@Destiny I’m sorry but Ethan isn’t as much of a lefty as I once thought. Hasan is more of a lefty than Ethan… the leftist today are pro Palestine… leftist are more us vs them mentality than we see people of the center and the center right from my perspective. This doesn’t look good on hasan since he said radical shit like america deserve 9/11 soon and so forth have ties to Arab ancestry and show constant favoritism to his own origins… look at how he shit on European countries for everything regarding middle Eastern projections with Arab and Muslim based backgrounds. Hasan is Turkish first and use his blood relation to Greeks as an excuse to act out horrible acts… Have you seen what hasan liked on twitter? It reflects what he relates to or likes mentally. He is very much like he musli neo nationalist Turkish who exists to this day who also followed the same mentality as the Muslims and Arabs who pushed for the araynian (forgive bad spelling I’m studying while writing this so I had little time) genocide… Hasan believes any bullshit against Israel… the Iranian doctor literally don’t care about e lives lost… this act claiming the people that are actual citizens of Israel as “settlers” is bullshit claims because this group of people didn’t start acting like this until the 1970s… They lost their land because the results of world war 2 fair and square. Germany also lost and had to let go of all those countries they had control over. Israel was created as a result. The people committing these acts on are 40 at oldest not anywhere as old as the people who would have lived in israel back in the 1940s He claims the Israelis are far right to claim justifying the death of Israelis because he panders to leftists… hasan is subhuman when he makes these arguments. Hasan probably claimed people weren’t raped and claimed the babies weren’t beheaded as well to deny any reality to fit his world narrative. Hasan abuses all forms of history to justify violence and harm to other people.
Hasan snickering, being condescending and making sarcastic jokes while his jewish friend is in pain and trying to explain why it's important to show empathy to both sides. Some people truly are immune to humanity
Its funny when its "innocent Palestinian 20 year old children" are on the screen, hasan cries like a little baby. But when its "evil white new Yorker Israeli settlers" its "oh they're oppressing marginalized people" there's not enough bleach for that manlet
@@IRepko Exactly. It sucks because besides Destiny and his community there doesn’t seem to be many people online who aren’t completely radicalized to the far-right or far-left.

I will no longer considering to vote for Joe Biden or Donald Trump as long as they keep supporting Netanyahu's corrupt administration. Cornel west is the only candidate with a spine. Liberals who said they hated what America did to the natives and what Hitler did to the jews are actively cheering on the ethnic cleansing of the palestinian people. Even tucker carlson is calling for de-escalation but liberal and neocon congressmen freaks are calling to nuke Iran yet destiny focuses on the fringe minority of left wing content creator making reactionary comments who hold no power in society.
"I'm glad we spent 2 hours talking about how evil Israel is." "Yeah man, me too. Okay let's talk about Hamas now" "No because it's irrelevant and doesn't matter" "okay how about we talk about people who support Hamas" "Oh that doesn't matter either. Nothing you bring up matters. Only what I bring up matters" - Hamasabi
it's not even that supporting terror attacks is what bothers me. Those lefties are building an entire narrative around the occupation and "freedom fighters", but they didn't ask Hamas what is its mission and why did it perform this giant massacre. Hamas mission statement is to destroy the state of Israel completely, kill the jews in the Jihad and to establish the Islamic state (a.k.a ISIS) on the entire land. I kid you not. Gaza is not under occupation, Israel has completely withdrawn in 2005 and gave it to the Palestinians. The reason for the massacre, according to Hamas, is "to free the Al-Aqsa mosque" (from non-muslims) in Jerusalem.
Why are you endlessly bringing up the Israelis casualties? That hurts the Palestinian(tm) brand, bro. Now let me talk endlessly about the grievances of Palestinians.
you know why is irrelevant to talk about Hamas now? BECAUSE THE F**** IDF IS CARRYING A STREAM LIVE GENOCIDE OVER GAZA, that's why. You know what people said when Hamas was doing the raid? "it doesn't matter what Israel did before, this is now, this massacre is happening now, are you supporting Hamas?" so it goes the same now, because the moment Hamas started doing the raid, the first thing the IDF did was send missiles to Gaza, they didn't even try to rescue their own people from the Hamas raid, they wait a full day before starting sending troops to the south, but the bombs over Gaza? those were there an hour after the first attack. but hey, it's more important to talk about Hasan's feelings and whatever bs he is talking about, priorities I guess
For hasan to cry then later to discredit ethan and laugh about it is so unbelievably disrespectful i do not blame ethan for pausing leftovers with hasan.
Baby settlers is the most insane and despicable thing ive ever heard in my life. Coming from people who pride themselves on being the good guys fighting for the oppressed is just peak.

@fallsunset5862 context matters, like what was your comment about? Are you pointing out Hasan agreeing with Ethan or downplaying his point? Is Hasan taking offense to ethan's statement or to the disrespect Ethan was mentioning? Was your first reply calling your statement fake news or Hasan taking offense? Or the situation being discussed in general? Was your reply saying that they were attacked just for existing, and did nothing wrong? Or are you saying the only thing wrong they did was exist? I had to comment this because the I was actually confused by the first reply and your response, cuz its like there was more of a conversation but it was erased.
What were Palestinians suppose to do? I’m not admonishing them; just want to know what you personally think they should do; being on the prisoner end (Palestine- with no money and nowhere to go to) versus the worlds most powerful and influential demographic (Israelis/ Jews). Israel needs to take personal responsibility towards this situation. The have all the power and agency in this situation whereas the Palestinians have nothing. It was obvious it was going to get explosive. There’s only so many times you can “turn the other cheek”.
This whole conversation was like watching an abusive relationship. One person is in pain, open to hearing the other side's issues, but ultimately just wants to be heard empathically. Hasan responds with the coldest, hand-wavy remarks to even the egregious indefensible Second Thought comments. You could tell Ethan came away very dissatisfied with the responses, but gaslights himself into thinking he just needs to be MORE good faith to these disgusting people who won't even give an INCH of empathy for innocent civilians. A week ago, regardless of Destiny's hatred for Hasan, I was largely indifferent. I now actively despise him and am genuinely concerned that he's such an infuencial figure. This guy is a literal sociopath.
He just started proving Destiny's point from the Taiwan debate. Hasan would put people in re-education camps and kill them if they kept disagreeing with him. He has the mindset of someone who justifies murder for his own benefit.
Hasan's chat spamming paraglider emojis while the dude in the video praises "killing hipsters" tells you everything you need to know. All while lots of mods(teal blue names) are present and have zero issues with it. Ethan will probably snap out of sooner or later but make no mistake, this is the bed he made on his own, he has nobody to blame for ignoring the red flag.
Watching Hasan manipulate and gaslight Ethan into apoligizing was insane to watch. I am just glad a strong, proud woman such as destiny was able to come to his defense.
He also said Ethan needs to take responsibility for folding so easily He needs to grow a backbone. Ethan wants so hard to look like he's the good guy and stay friends with Hasan that he allowed Hasan to possibly radicalize a huge audience. This is Ethans channel not Hassan but it's hard to tell the difference at this point.

*If you take Ethan and Hasan out of it, and just look at what transcribed, what do you think the average sane person would conclude to the questions below in bold ?* MR.X watched a stream ,live, (communicating with the streamers in a friendly fashion in the chat) of a person stating that all Israelis are settlers, so therefore it's okay to kill all of them. MR.Y then brings up said live stream to MR.X on their podcast, and MR.X won't concede that this statement is evil. MR.X later states that there are in fact baby settlers in Israel. *Do you think MR.X thinks that all Israli's are settlers, including babies ? And do you think MR.X thinks, that you should be allowed to kill all Israeli settlers, including "Baby settlers" because they are in fact settlers ?* *Again if you look at what has transcribed, what do you think the average sane person would conclude to the questions below in bold* MR.X has a community, that responded to the statements made on the previously referred to live stream as "based", "Giga Chad" and "correct" etc etc, and attacked MR.Y for disagreeing with the statements made on said live stream. MR.X has not made any announcement to ban said people, or made an announcement that such behaviour is wrong. *Do you think that MR.X believes that the actions of his community is acceptable ? And if so why do you think, he thinks such behaviour is acceptable ?* *From here on I will follow the same format of showing what transcribed, and then proposing a question in bold to the average sane person* Hamas had just killed a large number of Israeli citizens in some of the most horrendous ways possible, a person on the live stream MR.X and MR.Y are watching together, states that the Israeli hostages will be treated fairly and humanely, and MR.X responds by saying "He's not wrong on this" *Do you think MR.X is defending Hamas in bad faith here, considering the horrific things Hamas just did ? Why do you think MR.X would defend Hamas in such bad faith, and knowingly lie to defend them ?* On the stream being watched, a person states that they do not care that Israeli citizens were taken hostage (After Israeli citizens had just been killed in the most horrific way) and laughs about it, to which MR.X responds by referring to Israli's as fundamentalist settlers, and then refers to an international law, and states that these acts are legal because of that law. And then asks MR.Y if he would agree, that this law is morally correct. *Do you think MR.X is defending these actions ? Why do you think MR.X would defend these actions ? Why would MR.X ask MR.Y if he believes this law is morally correct ?* What law, states that it's legal to massacre civilians, and even babies ? *Why would MR.X knowingly make up such a law, which clearly doesn't exist ?* MR.X then states, that he does not, agree, that every single Israeli is in fact a settler, as others do, because he thinks it's not a reasonable solution, and will only lead to Palestinians being harmed because far right Israelis will use that as political fuel for their bombing campaigns (indicating that MR.X does not believe that Palestine can achieve a complete take over of Israel) *Do you think MR.X thinks branding all Israelis settlers is not a good idea, because it's wrong or immoral, or because doing so would tactically backfire against Palestine ? Do you think if Palestine could in fact take over all of Israel, MR.X would think that it is a good idea to brand all Israeli settlers ? If so, do you think, that MR.X thinks that it would be a good idea to kill all Israeli citizens, if Palestine had the capability to do so, since he referred to a law that justifies such actions, of massacring settlers?* MR.Y then states that the person in the live stream, is evil for thinking all Israeli people are settlers, so it's therefore morally okay, and justified to kill them all, and MR.X replies by, exhaling and tilting his head. *Do you think MR.X is considering, or trying to appear as if he is considering, if that is in fact evil or not ? And if MR.X is doing this publicly in front of a large audience, whilst sitting next to MR.Y, who is Jewish, and "his friend" that privately, he most likely does not think it's evil to hold such a view ?* MR.X then states "If this was happening in 1949 I would have a different opinion on the matter, but you can't say this in 2023" *Do you think that this means that MR.X thinks that in 1949, it would be morally okay to massacre every single Israeli ? And considering his previous remarks, do you think the only reason, why you can't "say this in 2023" is because, again, it would tactically backfire on Palestine ? And do you think the beliefs that it would be okay to say in 1949, because it possibly wouldnt' have backfired on Palestine, and that such a statement would be tactically possible to achieve ?* *Do you think that based on all this, that it is very sad, but MR.X is an evil person who need serious, serious prolonged therapy ? And if so, is it not the case, that something seriously horrendous must of happened to him in his life, as people just don't think this kind of stuff for no reason, like something very horrific happening during his childhood, whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally, and do you think we should all earnestly, and truly hope MR.X does get the therapy he needs, as clearly you can't think these things and not be absolutely scared, miserable, lost and severely troubled ?* There is obviously a lot more stuff that MR.X does, and states later in the podcast with MR.Y, that in many ways is a lot worse. Such as what you pointed out, laughing about the whole event in Israel etc, and defending people who are celebrating it etc etc etc, but I will leave it here, I think.
So so so glad to see someone talk about this as a Jewish fan of both Ethan and Hasan. I haven’t been able to watch hasan since the 7th because the way he talks about it makes me so upset, and you can’t even correct him when he makes factually/historically incorrect statements because you will get attacked by his pro Hamas fans
I'm not Jewish but I relate so much. I'm so disappointed in Hasan and other leftist commentators I used to look up to. Israel's actions don't justify antisemitism and terrorism.
You just know if Hasan had been a guest on that episode of the tankie podcast, he would have let those comments from the other two slide - and maybe even joined in himself - and that would have been the end of his stint on Ethan's podcast. I wish that was this timeline instead of a different one.
I don’t like Ethan but it makes me genuinely sad that Hasan won’t give him any concessions or even just say “yeah, friend, I understand your perspective and it’s valid.” At every turn Hasan has to twist and manipulate, browbeating Ethan into agreeing with his horrible takes until Ethan just gives in. Such a terrible human.
Ethan needs to understand that if he and/or Hila had been visiting family in Israel on 10/7 and had been killed by Hamas, Hasan would not shed a single tear and the only thing stopping him from gloating would be the bad optics.
Bro nobody is calling for Jewish genocide, Palestinians and even Hamas don't want to genocide the Jews. The only thing they want is the end of decades of Palestinian subjugation. But let's take a look at what Israel wants. They have emphatically rejected a Palestinian state for 16 years now. Netenyahu does NOT want to stop occupying the West Bank. And the death numbers of Palestinians in the recent conflict are up to 20,000 or more. The Israeli casualties are 1,400. So who is really calling for genocide here? Could it be the overwhelmingly stronger force that is the IDF and the Israeli prime Minister who refuses to end illegal occupation and refuses to stop killing tens of thousands of women and children?
It was his decision to set his credibility on fire to appeal to people that very much want to kill his people. It was also his decision to say Ben Shapiro deserved to die first because Ethan really thought it was Ben who was playing with fire and not himself. Ethan gets the audience he fostered. All I'll say is that it is insincere of him to appeal to people's humanity after rejecting that very thing for years. Maybe his old audience would have heard him out, but he hates that old audience and fostered this new one. Maybe he should have thought about that a bit more.
@@LB-py9ig Yep, it's always easy to beg for empathy when you're the one under the boot. It's how you act when you aren't that matters, and Ethan showed his true colors long ago.

I don't believe in that hour he ever came close to agreeing with anything Ethan said, while Ethan conceded every single time to try and have some empathy for the other side. I did my best to avoid Hasan for years, it's so unbelievably depressing to see that's what so many people listen to everyday. He was a propaganda machine with no empathy to offer Ethan and Hila. It felt so frustrating watching Ethan trying and failing repeatedly to get a shred of sympathy out of him, I just had to stop listening.
Hasan's Discord chat was being absolutely vile the entire time oh my god. Ethan should really open his eyes and realise what kind of audience Hasan brings to him.

I think that's incorrect. He's pretty even headed. I think he is very Ottoman oriented in the thinking, mainly overlooking radicalization. But he'd never support Hamas, but up to this attack Hamas had done relatively little. In fact they were favored by Netanyahus party over other orgs
Occupation has been happening for 56 years or however long. Hamas has only existed for 30 years or so… This should immediately tell you that Hamas are the symptom, not the disease. Like many other examples, oppression has a tendency of giving rise to terrorism
Yeah well, this is what happens when you let insane Lefties from Hasan's orbit intermingle with your own audience. Their ideas fester & permeate throughout H3H3's more moderate/progressive fanbase. This is entirely self-inflicted.

@@TubeWusel This is an aspect I wish Destiny wouldn't dismiss, and de-emphasize so much, it's a huge part of what is going on, to say palestinians dont hate israel for any reason other than their treatment, is insane, they teach from a very young age that killing jews is good, and god demands that they kill all the jews. They act this out in school plays, they chant this every day at mosque, they blame jews every chance they get, it's why they refuse a 2 state solution, it's why they chose to put Hamas in charge instead of focusing on improving Gaza and becoming a respectable nation, because they don't want that as long as israel exists, they would rather live like they are now, fighting to destroy israel, than to live in better conditions, in coexistence with israel. To say that even most of this is purely out of "treatment of palestinians" is absurd, because when they were in better conditions, but with more attacks on israel because of it, people said the same things. What I truly cannot understand, is why israel is responsible for conditions in Gaza.... They gave Gaza to palestinians, pulled out completely, that goodwill was met with violence and bloodshed, they responded by tightening the border and not facilitating trade with them, because why would they? Why should they have to do so much to help out people who want to wipe them off the planet? Gaza shares a border with Egypt too, they could easily facilitate trade through that border, but they don't, and Egypt doesn't even want to because the palestinians attack them when they don't blockade Gaza as well, they literally attack everyone who helps them out, so none of their allies in the region will help them with anything except weapons and bombs, because all they are to the muslim world is a political tool to attack israel, and a volatile people to physically attack israel.

You have to get a kick out of how much Hasan is leaning on ~international law~ to justify Hamas' behavior, but brings up _Hamas'_ violations (like hiding rocket launchers behind citizens) of the Geneva Convention precisely zero times.
Both sides have crap military but provocation from Israel is far more intense than the reaction of Hamas(not justifiable tho), but its the opposite in your scenario.
@@snehan8997 I understand both sides have been provocateurs, but Israel has made efforts to peace . It pulled out of Gaza in 2005 , it removed settlers and Jewish graves . It’s obvious not just the land . They don’t feel the same about Egypt . So your thinking isn’t bad it’s just not informed, go and read up some
I’ve never seen someone squirm so much on a podcast. Honestly, hats off to Hasan for his ability to be utterly obtuse and cowardly in his defense of terrorism.

Hasan doing to Ethan what he said Destiny did to Trihex over the N-word shit really is insane. The craziest part is that instead of something entirely inconsequential like potentially saying the n-word in private as a joke, it's Hasan dismissing Ethan while defending people laughing at and cheering for the murdering of innocent people.
Exactly. The line people like Hasan have is insane. He's again using shit like the Nword even used ironically and as a joke because that can eventually lead to someone actually murdering/rounding up black people. Yet, he and his friends can literally cheer on the brutal murder of babies while an actual conflict is happening. Not only does the responsibility for your platform disappear (which Hasan constantly wants his enemies to be responsible for evwry member of their audience) but the slippery slope goes away too. But yeah, Hasan and his friends can say the most insane deplorable shit about dead jewish babies cuz the N word is worse.
Hassan has won the social media game of terrible takes. He always manages to out do his last terrible take. We might be in the territory of evil takes.
More people need to make content ousting Hasan for all the double standards and bullshit he did over the years. There's got to be so much material. All the takes on USSR etc. he never cared for oppressed countries. Only the ones that suit his narrative.
Might be? Bro he's clapping and cheering for families being massacred, children watching their parents executed in front of them, their siblings murdered in front of them...... The things Hasan and his buddies were calling "BASED" were just unbelievably awful, my fucking soul is forever branded with some of the videos I saw, and he's clapping for it. It's not maybe in the territory of evil, we are well beyond holocaust denial at this point, because at least they're pretending it didn't happen and not celebrating 6 million dead jews.....the far left is celebrating dead children, they're not pretending it's a false flag to hide their evil, they're saying "yes it happened and we're really really happy about it."
Wait, what exactly are you referring to? which videos were they watching? Was it the same guys from a video where hasan and them talk about how all israeli citizens are basically "military" because they all have to serve in the army or some shit?@@tooitchy
Hasan also wanted extreme lockdowns on the working class during covid. He has 0 principles and supported the biggest wealth transfer upwards we saw and the inflation now.
I would wager that Hasan doesn't even know that there wasn't a single Israeli (or Jew) in Gaza prior to this attack. Also, the absolute irony of people arguing that Jews have no claim to the land, but that it's Palestinians' ancestral homeland. Palestinians are only called "Palestinians" because Rome thought it would be hilariously humiliating to name the people it located there once it ousted the Jews (hundreds of years before Mohammad was said to have lived) after the Jews' historic enemies, the Philistines.
Seeing one of h3’s discord chatters going “are we hamascord now” amongst this sea of rabid hasan fans felt like that picture of the one guy at a nazi rally not heiling
Ethan is there with an open mind for a conversation with his friend Hasan is there with a closed off mind trying to have a debate with a possible political adversary
I've always cringed while watching Hasan talk about literally anything, but seeing the live feed of his Discord reacting actually made me cry. I can watch a figurehead babble nonsensically all day, but real human beings drink in this poison and mock dead children for no reason other than ideological purity is just too depressing. When will you have enough money to stop this, Hasan? You are turning a generation of kindhearted, normal people into bloodthirsty ideologues with no love for anything but theory.
I just love where the lines are with people like Hasan. If a youtuber/streamer simply still used gay to=lame and that youtuber/streamers audience followed suit. Hasan wpuld act like they are completely homophobic scum and that rhetoric feeds into greater homophobia to the point of eradicating gays. Yet, when his fanbase and his friends literally dehumanize jewish people and jewish babies who were brutally murdered and cheering that on. All of a sudden those youtubers have no influence and their opinions dont matter and they have no responsibility for thwir audience of a million subscribers.
It's more evil than even that because he's not doing it for the money. Once you realize that you'll see how fucked up he really is. He actually wants to be way more extreme than he is here and even on his own stream. This is him restraining himself.
Few weeks ago I commented how I was afraid Ethan would crumble on a serious topic without support from his peers and it seems that is getting closer to reality... There is still a glimmer of hope that Ethan sees his "friend" for what he is, but it's getting dimmer every time he has to fight for his values alone. I lost hope for Ethan some time ago, but now that he seems to be getting reality check, I root for him more than ever before.
I’m with you. I am finding myself more aligned with Ethan than ever before. I really hope he sees things for what they are and sticks by his morals as I do believe he has a strong moral compass
Bro it's genuinely insane that Hasan's chat at 1:13:17 is just excusing all those pro-palestinian protestors by going "Oh they're all just Nazis". The amount of mental gymnastics that you have to do to come to that conclusion is astounding. These people aren't even living in reality.

This is probably gonna be the issue that breaks up the show and maybe even turns Ethan back a bit. He’s already been slowly inching away from far left takes by arguing with Hasan the past few months and this issue clearly impacts him and Hasan in completely different ways and their reactions/world views on such a fundamental issue (I.e. extreme political violence) are so completely different
You just know if Hasan had been a guest on that episode of the tankie podcast, he would have let those comments from the other two slide - and maybe even joined in himself - and that would have been the end of his stint on Ethan's podcast. To be clear Ethan said at the start this was going to be a conversation between friends about a very difficult subject. If that's the case Hassan is an absolutely garbage friend because at no point did he present his own feelings, just debate bro'd and pivoted and strawmanned the whole way through. If this is the kind of person Ethan considers a friend I feel bad for him
I don’t get how Hasans fans/tankies don’t see themselves being as bad as the alt right. Neither of them have no compassion for anyone who doesn’t agree with them. I don’t want to see anyone get hurt even people I hate.

He is very much like he musli neo nationalist Turkish who exists to this day who also followed the same mentality as the Muslims and Arabs who pushed for the araynian (forgive bad spelling I’m studying while writing this so I had little time) genocide…
Hasan believes any bullshit against Israel… the Iranian doctor literally don’t care about e lives lost… this act claiming the people that are actual citizens of Israel as “settlers” is bullshit claims because this group of people didn’t start acting like this until the 1970s…
They lost their land because the results of world war 2 fair and square. Germany also lost and had to let go of all those countries they had control over. Israel was created as a result. The people committing these acts on are 40 at oldest not anywhere as old as the people who would have lived in israel back in the 1940s
He claims the Israelis are far right to claim justifying the death of Israelis because he panders to leftists… hasan is subhuman when he makes these arguments. Hasan probably claimed people weren’t raped and claimed the babies weren’t beheaded as well to deny any reality to fit his world narrative.

it's not even that supporting terror attacks is what bothers me.

*If you take Ethan and Hasan out of it, and just look at what transcribed, what do you think the average sane person would conclude to the questions below in bold ?*
MR.X watched a stream ,live, (communicating with the streamers in a friendly fashion in the chat) of a person stating that all Israelis are settlers, so therefore it's okay to kill all of them. MR.Y then brings up said live stream to MR.X on their podcast, and MR.X won't concede that this statement is evil. MR.X later states that there are in fact baby settlers in Israel.
*Do you think MR.X thinks that all Israli's are settlers, including babies ? And do you think MR.X thinks, that you should be allowed to kill all Israeli settlers, including "Baby settlers" because they are in fact settlers ?*
*Again if you look at what has transcribed, what do you think the average sane person would conclude to the questions below in bold*
MR.X has a community, that responded to the statements made on the previously referred to live stream as "based", "Giga Chad" and "correct" etc etc, and attacked MR.Y for disagreeing with the statements made on said live stream. MR.X has not made any announcement to ban said people, or made an announcement that such behaviour is wrong.
*Do you think that MR.X believes that the actions of his community is acceptable ? And if so why do you think, he thinks such behaviour is acceptable ?*
*From here on I will follow the same format of showing what transcribed, and then proposing a question in bold to the average sane person*
Hamas had just killed a large number of Israeli citizens in some of the most horrendous ways possible, a person on the live stream MR.X and MR.Y are watching together, states that the Israeli hostages will be treated fairly and humanely, and MR.X responds by saying "He's not wrong on this"
*Do you think MR.X is defending Hamas in bad faith here, considering the horrific things Hamas just did ? Why do you think MR.X would defend Hamas in such bad faith, and knowingly lie to defend them ?*
On the stream being watched, a person states that they do not care that Israeli citizens were taken hostage (After Israeli citizens had just been killed in the most horrific way) and laughs about it, to which MR.X responds by referring to Israli's as fundamentalist settlers, and then refers to an international law, and states that these acts are legal because of that law. And then asks MR.Y if he would agree, that this law is morally correct.
*Do you think MR.X is defending these actions ? Why do you think MR.X would defend these actions ? Why would MR.X ask MR.Y if he believes this law is morally correct ?*
What law, states that it's legal to massacre civilians, and even babies ?
*Why would MR.X knowingly make up such a law, which clearly doesn't exist ?*
MR.X then states, that he does not, agree, that every single Israeli is in fact a settler, as others do, because he thinks it's not a reasonable solution, and will only lead to Palestinians being harmed because far right Israelis will use that as political fuel for their bombing campaigns (indicating that MR.X does not believe that Palestine can achieve a complete take over of Israel)
*Do you think MR.X thinks branding all Israelis settlers is not a good idea, because it's wrong or immoral, or because doing so would tactically backfire against Palestine ? Do you think if Palestine could in fact take over all of Israel, MR.X would think that it is a good idea to brand all Israeli settlers ? If so, do you think, that MR.X thinks that it would be a good idea to kill all Israeli citizens, if Palestine had the capability to do so, since he referred to a law that justifies such actions, of massacring settlers?*
MR.Y then states that the person in the live stream, is evil for thinking all Israeli people are settlers, so it's therefore morally okay, and justified to kill them all, and MR.X replies by, exhaling and tilting his head.
*Do you think MR.X is considering, or trying to appear as if he is considering, if that is in fact evil or not ? And if MR.X is doing this publicly in front of a large audience, whilst sitting next to MR.Y, who is Jewish, and "his friend" that privately, he most likely does not think it's evil to hold such a view ?*
MR.X then states "If this was happening in 1949 I would have a different opinion on the matter, but you can't say this in 2023"
*Do you think that this means that MR.X thinks that in 1949, it would be morally okay to massacre every single Israeli ? And considering his previous remarks, do you think the only reason, why you can't "say this in 2023" is because, again, it would tactically backfire on Palestine ? And do you think the beliefs that it would be okay to say in 1949, because it possibly wouldnt' have backfired on Palestine, and that such a statement would be tactically possible to achieve ?*
*Do you think that based on all this, that it is very sad, but MR.X is an evil person who need serious, serious prolonged therapy ? And if so, is it not the case, that something seriously horrendous must of happened to him in his life, as people just don't think this kind of stuff for no reason, like something very horrific happening during his childhood, whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally, and do you think we should all earnestly, and truly hope MR.X does get the therapy he needs, as clearly you can't think these things and not be absolutely scared, miserable, lost and severely troubled ?*
There is obviously a lot more stuff that MR.X does, and states later in the podcast with MR.Y, that in many ways is a lot worse. Such as what you pointed out, laughing about the whole event in Israel etc, and defending people who are celebrating it etc etc etc, but I will leave it here, I think.

Two words: Sean Penn
What’s your icon pic?
It's a microcosm of the Left in the US. Pol Pot Hipsters bullying liberals into jumping off a cliff into Khmer Rouge territory.
Because he's racially motivated.
That was very well put
Ethan needs to understand that if he and/or Hila had been visiting family in Israel on 10/7 and had been killed by Hamas, Hasan would not shed a single tear and the only thing stopping him from gloating would be the bad optics.
Wow, watching Ethan apologizing for not being charitable enough to people who want to genocide him because of his ethnicity just makes me sick.

I'm watching a lot of him and he's getting closer and closer to the realization that his team (democrats) are far worse than the other 2 thirds of the country. Closer and closer. The more he hangs out with Ryan grim, Emma vigland and vaush, and the more he watches stuff like this, the closer he gets to that epiphany
Jesus Christ, imagine justifying the killing of children and the helpless. Do human lives mean nothing if they are on the other side?
It's justified in the same way slaves broke free and revolted against their masters and beat the crap out of their masters. Why feel bad for karma taking its course?
@@counselorguy5481Are you really comparing children to fucking slave masters? They didn’t do anything to anyone besides exist in a place that was taken violently. It’s horrible what Israel did but leave children out of it.
@@counselorguy5481No it’s not. Slaves killing masters is clearly different from Hamas killing civilians. Civilians who are not involved in oppressing Palestinians are not guilty for oppressing Palestinians. And even if one granted that Israel is oppressing Palestinians, that is in no way morally equivalent to full-blown chattel slavery.
@@jodawgsup Anti Zionist joos are beyond based.
Could you explain how there is an equivalence between slaves killing their masters and this situation? Palestinians are now "slaves" of Israel, apparently?
Stop making shit up as you go. It's not working for you and it just makes you look stupid.

Still dont get how people actually watch Hassan, dude's an actual psychopath
I am no longer a fan of his. I gave him the benefit of the doubt at first but this is completely changed my view of him. I don't consider anyone who defends Hamas leftists.
Hasan and Hasan's chat are nightmares. Im surprised Ethan and Hasan can still work together.
@hasanAbi Hasan's chat reflects him. They're toxic bullies. His chat is either spamming emotes or bullying anyone who has a different opinion. When he spots someone with a different take he pulls their logs up to signal to chat to harrass the person and send death threats in their whispers. His chat is also extremely racist and they doxx and harass poc on the internet on a regular basis.
Only because Ethan values the friendship more than his views. Even though Hasan won't think the same about that.
@@remko4112 because it 100% is about views for hasan. remember when Hasan got so invested in playing video games lives with big streamers like dunkey and critikal then like a few months later completely ghosted all those streamers he played games with? It's because he sees these collaborations as solely for getting more views and not building a community.
@@HerveyShmervyI still don’t understand how someone could be friends with a guy like Hansan he’s a rat that likes the idea of communism just so he could stay rich while the rest stay the same the guy is insurable enough to be in a room with him ,nothing this guy says can back up his disputes .
Update...Ethan disbanded the podcast so it's all over now
Every time I think it's not possible to like Hasan less, he surpasses my expectations.
Australia has a large MIddle-Eastern community, particularly Lebanese. Sydney is known to have enclaves of them. It's absolutely en-pointe for them to show up and chant something so despicable. They've done this sort of thing in the past, the country gets outraged, they lie low for 3 months and forget. It's basically yearly.
Ethan should have stood his ground.
if he doesnt stand his ground when babies are murdered, then he wont stand for anything
He doesn't want to ruin the show I guess.
he's on Twitter, and there it's extremely popular to be pro-hamas. I think he feels overwhelmed with that + Hasan + Hasan's stupid fans gaslighting him. I just can't watch him being treated like a child by Hasan while HE is the one who lived there for 5 years and has the knowledge
The problem is Ethan sees Hasan as a true friend.
While Hasan sees Ethan as a useful idiot.
That his people colonized palestine
It never ceases to amaze me that people will use their own suffering as a justification to inflict the same or worse on others.
The phrase "hurt people hurt people" exists for a reason. Seems that's the way it goes.
@@thealgorithmluvsu3788 I found that out a long time ago. It only gets more disgusting with time.
The entire conflict is basically turning into one gigantic murder-suicide
Thats the modus operandi for terror groups. Magnify your suffering and minimise your suffering.
Hasan's audience has taught me to believe that any self-proclaimed empath is actually a narcissist under the hood.
i watched this live and i felt so bad for Ethan. he can’t get a single shred of empathy out of Hasan despite showing overwhelming empathy for the other side. tough to watch tbh.
When you've convinced yourself that you're on the "good" side, you can justify anything.
He is rich jewish man living in the west! How many Palestinians die complaire to israelis! Imagine people colonizing your land and make u the bad guy

There is a point where a person has to realize that a person you consider a friend would laugh and point if you were killed over your ethnicity. That you would deserve it. At that point, you just need to cut off all contact.
he is a Turk after all, there isnt any ethnicity they havent abused. its the old Ottoman genetics.
@@kongvinter33 It has nothing to do with genetics. He’s a poorly read communist, a woke narcissist, a literal racist, and an overgrown spoiled millennial brat. That’s aaaallllll nurture. The first three make him dangerous, and the last one makes him infuriating AND dangerous.
Defending Hamas is like supporting a school shooter because his family was killed by the school bully, so he decided to kill his bully and his family. Its not right but its a more fitting analogy than the most upvoted one.
I was really starting to have hope for Ethan, but that apology is a really bad sign.
He just bowed to the most radical elements of his fanbase. Absolutely embarrassing.
I don't blame him, he's in an impossible position.
@@k.-flynn He's a millionaire who podcasts for a living. How the fuck is that "an impossible position?"
If he's not in a position to tell the truth, no one is. You're just excusing cowardice at this point.
@k.-flynn yeah, pretty much. Like destiny said, Ethan is in an emotional state, which is totally fine and understandable, and trying to actually connect with hasan and hasan is just in debate bro mode.
@@redSUPERMAN2
Its funny when hes so anti debate bro, but then acts like this. Its so patronizing.
I feel like ethan can run laps around him, hes got the chops to actually get to the meat of peoples positions. Hasan cant handle that so he blubbers his way through convos. Anytime ethan ask him to take a stance hasan cant and its weak. Its toxic for ethan. Hes coming in wanting to know what hasan feels and everytime hasan just gaslights and wiggles around. So far every convo between the two has been the same old dance.
I wouldn't hold this convo against Ethan, he's trying to be so good faith he's getting bowled over.
Oh no the n word. That totally is equal to people being murdered. Grow up kontol
This younger generation is doomed.
Says every older generation.
Hasan's community would make for a fascinating case study on irony poisoning.
Ethan is there with an open mind for a conversation with his friend Hasan is there with a closed off mind trying to have a debate with a possible political adversary
*"The more I see of Hasan Piker the more I grow convinced that he's a genuinely evil person."*
-Bilbo Baggins
reading Hasan's discord is like a try not to become radicalized challenge
but micro aggressions are the biggest problem in the world
I can't wait for the day that Destiny replaces Hasan on LeftOvers. I'll actually start watching it that day.
how likely do u think that’s going to happen? I dont wanna get my hopes up
I always saw Hasan as a lazy clown but this...
This is fucking unreal.
There doing that to gain soldiers for when these middle people attack the west and it’s Allie’s they’ll have sleeper cells in the country
were they kind hearted to begin with?
@@lowserver2they were children. And now they’re growing up to be evil adults.
It is nice to see people show their true colours so openly.
Not that it surprises me.
I know right. Israel is finally just comitting warcrimes in the open.
Not gonna lie, I used to roll my eyes when the only content uploaded to Destiny's channel was orbiter drama. Nowadays, I want more. I can't handle unironic crypto-nazism on the left, outright terrorist apologia. Steven is right, it does hit different when its people on your side doing it, and I'm not strong enough to listen to these sick bastards. Back to League I guess.
I’d say these people aren’t really on your “side”. They just want power and control…
I wish that was this timeline instead of a different one.
Also, obligatory reminder that Second Thought has another channel where he test drives luxury cars. You couldn't write this stuff better if you tried.
I feel like if there was any single political issue Ethan should be fighting for like he's a feral animal, it's this issue
It's genuinely upsetting watching Hasan treat Ethan like some out of touch older relative. "Ya okay buddy let's slow down now" it's so patronizing.
Every time i think Hamas Piker cant be more of a scum, he just proves me wrong. Amazing!
Ethan has more in common with Destiny then Hasan honestly
Hasan doesn’t have anything in common with anyone near normal
I love that 90% of political discussion in America has to do with foreign countries and we just ignore our own issues.
The stereotype is that most Americans are blissfully ignorant of any country other than us actually
why is that
My brother, 90% of comments from Americans is shit like "yeah the water in Chernobyl is bad... BUT it doesn't come close to the water in my city..."
hasans chat during this is actually frightening to watch holy fuck
To be clear Ethan said at the start this was going to be a conversation between friends about a very difficult subject. If that's the case Hassan is an absolutely garbage friend because at no point did he present his own feelings, just debate bro'd and pivoted and strawmanned the whole way through. If this is the kind of person Ethan considers a friend I feel bad for him
I don’t get how Hasans fans/tankies don’t see themselves being as bad as the alt right. Neither of them have no compassion for anyone who doesn’t agree with them. I don’t want to see anyone get hurt even people I hate.
