I like how you compared the before fired and after. Anybody wanting to do this now understands the shifting. So smart!
I can’t choose! I love them both!!
I like them both but I like the cab capped in clear the best! :)
Both are beautiful but I think I like the clear capped one a little more.
I liked them both. But I think I liked the capped in clear a little more.
Unfortunately I missed the live tutorial. I love the one without the clear, reminds me of stone.
Capped in clear!
Wow... super cool! I gotta get me one of these cuz turquoise and red are my fav!!! Thank you so much for sharing this process with us... I've always wondered how dichro is done!
They are beautiful
I definitely want to see more videos of thes!
I love the capped-in clear effect but the other one is just as BEAUTIFUL!!
I like the capped in clear. So fascinating see the process, especially the picture of before firing and after.
Yeah, you're making more of these beautiful red and tourqoise cabs. I've been too slow in buying these. Hope I can get me some. Lol🤤🤗🥰
Oh no I missed the live so so so bummed. Hope you all are doing well. Cant wait for fridays live. Wooooohoooo
I didn't know you did glasswork! I have a few questions because I would like to start in the future: for fused glass pieces, how much would a beginner setup cost? Kiln, molds, and other tools. And how much would a piece sell? I would love to see more advice for beginners on this channel.
Hello, Stefon! I recommend checking out Delphi Glass as they have some great beginner kiln kits, both electric kilns and microwave kilns. A lot of the initial expense depends on what you would like to do; making puddle cabs out of sheet glass takes less tools, specialized glass, and molds than making glass pieces like in this tutorial, where I needed the mold, the zyp mold release, and the frit in 3 colors of glass. Our set up cost a few thousand dollars, but that is because we are a full production business and run our kiln almost every day. We have friends that make glass for themselves and a few for sale and their set up wasn't nearly as expensive. As for selling a piece, our glass pieces start at $4 and the most expensive cabochon I have made sold for $40, so a lot of the sale price depends on your client demographic and how you price your time. I hope this was helpful to you!
@@backtoearthcreations thank you so much for the information! I will look more into it in the future, I want to make complex cabochons for my macrame pieces and start a business hopefully ❤️ I love all your work! It inspires me so much
Lovin' your work, Von. Blessings!!!
I’m with you… I like them both! 🥰🥰🥰
Good morning!!!!
Weee!!!! I really really like these and am stoked to get some.
Ooohhhhh! Pretty!!
Wow sooo pretty. Dangum I missed most of the premiere. I was loving my garden. I am looking forward to getting my pieces. Cool!
Hi Yvonne. Have you ever tried fusing glass to simulate the aurora borealis? Could that be done?
Waouh
Absolutely beautiful! I love those colours and I would love to be able to afford the shipping, but alas I can not 🥺
Maybe when this apocalypse is over it will come down.
Ps, would love to see more of the purple/blue mixed in with it too 😉 x
