This is just a shortened re-hash edit as I admire the new Fender Acoustasonic Stratocaster released and play with some new build ideas.

Im new to all of this stuff and i was wondering what was the beer cap used on the inside for? and do ukuleles necks usually get left flat? the fretboard, i mean do ukuleles have a slight curve? Ive never seen anyone put one on them in a build. great job man, Im watching here from Canada and I want to start doing a project like this, please upload more videos!

I'm guessing that the beer cap was filled with glue and placed over a piezo disc 'pickup' to hold it in place. Making a radiused fretboard is harder than making a flat one.

Yep - that's the one. I'd probably not use the cap anymore, but had seen a few doing it back when I built this.
