Story no. 2 : Bipolar doesn't excuse you from doing harm on someone first cause bipolar doesn't let you lose your morals and manners but it will make self defense totally over the top. Praying for your nephew.
As a bipolar 1 sufferer, therapy is definitely helpful. If you don’t mind pharmaceuticals, then with a doc and faith in yourself you can medicate and tweak it until you have a second within yourself to be able to decide how to respond instead of instantly reacting. Which is where the flying off the handle comes from, is that lack of a second of hesitancy to be able to decide how to react/respond than just that knee jerk response. It’s taken me either 9 years or a whole decade to find a balance and better way to live. Key is not to give up on yourself even if it’s hard as hell. Be stubborn and keep on it because that might save your ass later. As humans, no matter the disorder, we are responsible for our own actions, words, reactions/responses, opinions, and etc. No disorder should be able to absolve someone from a socially deplorable behavior. Like Karen rage-outs in the middle of Walmart where they throw a fit like a behaviorally challenged 3rd grader. They’re still responsible for their choices no matter the supporting disorder. Disorders aren’t an excuse to behave badly but a challenge to be a better person than you feel you can be.
I also suffer from bipolar 1 I wasn't as bad as this kid however I wasn't far off I would get far more confrontational and violent and tend to break things until i was put on alot of meds now I'm fairly chill for the most part.
You obviously know nothing about bipolar. I dated a man who was bipolar so I'll fill you in on a few things. It doesn't make you lose your morals but one of the consequences of a manic episode is wild impulsivity. It absolutely will make you lose your manners people become can become incredibly agitated during manic periods for seemingly no reason. Another key part of manic episodes is grandiosity and egocentric behavior. They have a very hard time taking accountability for their actions during an episode. My ex who's bipolar and doesn't gamble at all once had a really bad manic episode booked a flight to Vegas and cleaned out his bank account at the casino. Bipolar disorder isn't an excuse for bad behavior but it certainly is the cause of it in many many cases. This disease commonly ruins peoples lives and makes it very hard for them to fit into society or keep people close to them. Of course they are responsible for their actions. They're also living with a disease that periodically destroys their impulse control and inhibition. They often have serious issues with guilt, shame and, depression because they realize in hindsight how shameful their actions were. They deserve compassion not judgement.
Story 1: Am i the jerk for laughing like the Joker when i heard that the 'Karen' got tazed by the Sheriff? Story 2: WOW! I never ever expected an update from that old story. That kid is clearly just an ass, not bipolar... I hate the bipolar excuse. He learned absolutely nothing from before, and he and, to a degree, the parents, deserve what they got.
Story 3 the person needs to open an account only in their name if they don't already have one. I've seen too many stories of parents thinking they are entitled to their kids money and draining the shared account dry
That is crazy. When a person has stroke symptoms or even a possible bleed, it's imperative to get them to the hospital! You only have a certain amount of time window to do it. That woman was just crazy.
The incredible irony about the Karen story is that I know 3 women actually named Karen. Karen 1 would be visiting the neighbor in the hospital. Karen 2 would be bringing food over after the neighbor got back. And Karen 3 would be the one having to go to the hospital.

For the last story, OP is thinking too hard about being the one to "fix" the situation. After all, they weren't the only one to get money. Their brother also got an inheritance, and from how they make it sound, other cousins will as well (at 18 yo), and I don't think anyone else is gonna give away their inheritance to fix the situation. Besides, the money could also help them as well, to help pay a place of their own, or even college payments (if that's something they plan to do)
Also... Why are the parents thinking of adopting when they're financially struggling? That makes no sense. People shouldn't have kids when they can't afford to raise them properly. It'd be different if they'd gotten pregnant accidentally, but actively wanting to adopt when you can't afford it is just wrong. And no matter how bad of a relationship you have with someone, getting upset if they get money for their cancer treatment would make you a terrible human being.
If I were the woman in story one dealing Karen dumping her kids at my doorstep, I would phone Karen. “Hello Karen, I am going to give you an ultimatum either you get back here and pick up your kids or the police will, the choice is yours. Keep your kids or Police will take them. Plus tick tock I am only giving you three minutes to actually get back here!”

The second one, they should have gotten the judge to send him to a bad lads camp where they're in the army for a set amount of time and if they didn't do what the XOs demanded of them, they'd get chewed out faster than you could say "thank you for this big mac"!
I had someone who would just drop their kids at my house to babysit, the first time I felt bad for the kids and let them in but the next time she did it I called the police for abandoned children. No one owes anyone free labor.
Third story : 1. Keep some money for yourself. You begin in life and this money can play bills and university tuitions so you are able to find the job of your dreams. 2. Your grandmother has cancer. It is a life and death matter so tell her or your grandfather to keep you in touch so you can help with the bills if you want to (and it seems you want to. 3. The narrator is right, if your parent can't afford to have a new kid without your help it is better they don't. Children come with joy but also bills. They need to be responsible.
Story 2 - my elder brother suffers from bipolar disorder, the way the nephew was acting is the exact way he is. Stealing money from our parents, he acts like the world owes him something, anti-authority, he's broken the windows multiple times breaking into the house (where he lives), punching doors. He was incredibly abusive to me growing up, he doesn't take medication, he refuses to go see a doctor. He has threatened me with grievous bodily harm, and has almost got away with everything his entire life Overall terrible person 1/5 stars
Story #3. I'm not sure if the tax code is still on the books but in the U.S. there is (or was - if it has changed in the last 10 years) a sort of inheritance loophole. A person can leave their monies/property(s) to a Grandchild or Great Grandchild and the inheritance tax is greatly reduced. It could be that the Great Grandmother purposely divided her money to the GGs to save the money from high taxes if it was given to her children. Also, she obviously knew about the animosity between her daughter amd Granddaughter and thought it could be possibly safer to just leave the money to the next generation down to keep them from fighting.
That first story made me laugh so hard to be honest I think the lady that went to the hospital she needs to get a restraining order against her neighbor
Seconds story: I do really feel bad for the eldest nephew cause I also have so mental issues and I somewhat understand what he is going through, And the best thing for him right now is to show him kindness and support without rewarding this bad behavior.
The entitled woman in the first one should go to jail. Doesn't leaving your kids on someone else's door step count as child abandonmenteven if your coming back, not only this but she endangered the life of some one else and practically harrased people on the medical field while they were on duty.
Stories like the second one are why I'm glad I don't live near any family. I miss them sometimes, but I can't stand them long-term. I do love them tho. 😂
As someone with a slight bipolar disorder I will say this... the second story has more to it that kid needs medical help. Also when he ran away he totally got his ass beat.
The 2nd one made me give the response of “Section him”. For those who don’t know what that means. In the UK we have the mental health act and section 2 is about how someone who could be demed a danger to themselves or others due to mental health issues can be taken involenterely (don’t know if it’s police or nhs transport who deals with that) to a specialist facility for a upto 28 day evaluation with I think some reasonable treatment given
For the story where the great grandchildren get the money. Here are my two plans. 20k: 70, 30 split grandparents, parents. Possibly take 2k. 30k: Take 5k then 80, 20 split grandparents, parents. Those are my personal plans if I were in that situation.
Just because you're bipolar doesn't mean you can go as insane as the nephew. I've been dealing with it for the last twenty-three years. It's best to keep a steady routine, cuddle sessions with plushies and a good therapist, and keeping activities that makes you truly smile and happy, around the home. No chances of losing control when your hands and mind are occupied. Still though, sounds like the nephew wasn't raised properly at all, but great that the youngest ones matured and are doing better.
Last story - she willed it to you, it's yours. You do Not HAVE to divide anything. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, she put her money where she wanted it to go. It doesn't matter who else thinks that they deserve it. It's 100% yours, keep it and use it toward your future.
I was about to lose my marbles on the 2nd story, i just cant believe someone would break into another persons shed and start selling stuff that isnt theirs!
1st story : Even non-horrible parents can go a little crazy when they are forced to take care of their kids when they thought they were getting some time to themselves. Psycho Karen, being a garbage human, just took that to a whole new level. I feel bad for her kids. :(
For the last story, OP is over 18 and his parents are planning to adopt a kid? They can’t afford the adoption fees how are they gonna afford to look after a child if they are successful?
Oh! After hearing what you said, that made me think about something. If you don't even have the money to get the child, that would only make me believe you won't have money to PROVIDE for said child. Plus you're not the only one who got money. One of you can help with the cancer treatments and the other can decice to help with the adoption. Why is OP about to try and do BOTH!? Like wth
Isnt the first story some type of elder abuse? like there's no way she can just drop 3 kids off with a 75 year old woman for hours on end and not pay her at all , also wouldn't that warrant some type of child services call cause that's gotta be some type of neglect leaving kids with a stranger (neighbor or not) that has obvious health issues they could endanger the kids.
I agree report that woman to DSS Department of Human Services CPS whatever its called in your State and you let her know when you get home from the hospital you keep your children to yourself take your own children shopping thank you.😮
First story, when she got home I’d tell her the next time she left her kids without my permission I’d call dcs to pick them up. Don’t let this woman abuse you. Her complete disregard and disrespect for you with her probably verbal abuse is ridiculous. As a home health nurse I used to help my patients get rid of parasites like her.
There’s a difference between a reason and an excuse. Having a reason to do something doesn’t necessarily excuse the behavior. Having a terrible home life with previously enabling parents, having mental struggles, and having built up teenage angst…those are all reasons, but they don’t excuse his actions. I hope he accepts help before he kills someone.
Some horrible woman who used to live next beside my grandparents also tried to dump her kids at my grandparents doorstep but the thing about my grandpa he is a retired police officer and this lady didn’t know that and he made one phone call. Well, the lady had a lot more free time without her kids because she got arrested for child neglect and abandonment plus she lost custody of her kids. Just because people are elderly doesn’t mean they’ll let you walk all over them.
The second story is the reason why you do so many things as a parent. This is why you love them and teach them compassion, this is why they learn the consequences of their actions, this is why you tell your kids no instead of promising them everything. I could go on, but from the sounds of it this nephew could easily have avoided this behavior if his parents just cared for him. The fact that he lacks remorse for his actions and blames other things when given a scap goat is proof enough to me that he has never been taught compassion. Here's to hoping he isn't an actual psychopath because he sounds dangerous if he is.
The nephew has issues but ostracizing him from the family is unacceptable. Those grandparents should be ashamed of themselves. That’s not gonna help him it’s not his fault that he was the Guinea pig child to shitty parents. I think he needs love patience understanding prayer and forgiveness.
Second Story: Get the Nephew some help at an Amen Clinic. His behavior, while unacceptable, can be helped if someone bothered to look at His Brain for activity abnormalities. He's likely to have low levels of Dopamine and Serotonin. The areas likely affected are the Prefrontal Cortex, Anterior Cigulate Gyrus and the Temporal Lobes.
Now if someone dropped their kids in my door neighbour, relative or not, I call the cops without noticing the parent. If they can drop them off without a notice I can call without one.
The first story, the crazy neighbor, is actually just a Narcissist. They only view themselves as a person going through an experience and that everyone else are just to fill in characters to help her on her selfish adventures. They are incapable of any compassion or empathy.
Nephew in second story sounds like he also has ODD, oppositional defiant disorder. My youngest child has it. Kids with odd can be extremely difficult to handle, but with a lot of structure and guidance it can be managed.
Nah, after that day, I would NEVER watch her kids ever again. She would just be knocking and knocking. Or I would call CPS for child neglect. I bet she'll keep her kids then.
Last story? While neither the grandparents nor the parents are entitled to the money, keeping it could lead to major bad blood. It could even lead to the parents saying "Since you have money now, we will either charge you for rent and food at a rate of our choosing, or you will be kicked out without notice and have to get your own place. You do have money for that now and since you wanna play great-granny's game, you win the great-granny prize."
Doesn't matter. Legally that inheritance is his. If he wants he can keep every dollar. Plus he may already have his own place. If he wants he can give some to the cancer ridden grandmother as that's more important than his parents selfish desires. And yes, them wanting to adopt another kid when they KNOW they cannot afford it is selfish
If they do that in spite to get their hands on that money then they're showing that they really only care about themselves instead of the kid's future and the kid should just move away from them all.
My husband's nephew constantly blames his bad choices and trouble with the law on his mental health issues. It's always "uh, I can't help it, I have mental health issues/bipolar disorder. You need to give me what I want or else I'll rage out". He's 20 years old and acts like he's 5 with all of the temper tantrums he has the minute he's told the word "no". I know there are many people out there with mental health issues and they follow the law and have a normal life. He needs to quit using his bipolar disorder as an excuse to do whatever the hell he wants.
Cant the Karen from story one be charged with child abandonment because she left them with someone they barely knew for long periods at a time? Also can’t she be charged with reckless endangerment because she was trying to take the ambulance cot out the ambulance and could have killed her?
In my opinion the 3rd one the grandmother is the one who needs it cos in sure that the adoption costs and requirements are there to ensure that there’s a reasonable income to support a child
In stead of giving the money offer to help pay for treatment for your grandparents cancer and to put a fraction of the money towards your parents fund raiser that way you are giving some and keeping some that way nobody will feel hurt, but what you decide to do with the money is completely up to you and what feels right to you.
Karen in story 1: As the old saying goes, ‘Every child deserves a parent but not every parents deserves a child’. That Karen is the ‘parent’ in ‘not every parent deserves a child.
Story 3 : Why are his parents looking to adopt when they already have Kids? Also if they can't afford it, WHY? Grandparents with Cancer should get some money!
In many cases adopting a child can be tens of thousands of dollars upfront, they could easily afford to raise a child but maybe not drop 10k upfront to adopt one
The Karen on the first story is absolutely ridiculous and selfish. Imagine telling someone to get out of an ambulance saying they need to watch your kids, absolutely entitled. I bet if the patient had gotten off and something happened to her later on she wouldn't even feel a tad bit sorry and will just complain about how she now does not have a baby sitter. She needs a hard reality check and i hope that taser was a starting point and maybe a few more for good measure too ;)
First story: Who wants to bet that Karen won't pay the lady if she came to watch her kids, and then claims that the lady was "sleeping" when she got a stroke, and that's the reason she wouldn't pay her?
Wow, that's dark...
yep
i dont think any payment was involved there,
some people are leaches, taking advantage of other people's good will toward others

Does the eldest nephew in story 2 not realize that pulling his shenanigans at 18 will land him in JAIL?
In the second story, if i was in the situation, this would probably escalate further because i have no patience for this kind of stuff.
You have the perfect voice for the karens
Im glad the younger siblings learn their lesson
The 2nd one made me give the response of “Section him”. For those who don’t know what that means. In the UK we have the mental health act and section 2 is about how someone who could be demed a danger to themselves or others due to mental health issues can be taken involenterely (don’t know if it’s police or nhs transport who deals with that) to a specialist facility for a upto 28 day evaluation with I think some reasonable treatment given
I'm not even surprised by people anymore.
The first karen should be arrested for elder abuse, criminal negligence, and interference of medical workers
Life Alert should interview that fall victim. That must have been terrifying.
"YOU CAN'T GO TO THE HOSPITAL YOU NEED TO WATCH MY KIDS"
Bruh if I don't go to the hospital *I won't* even be alive to watch your kids tomorrow
Like wth
11:33
Well guess what? I got nothing for my birthday.
Not even a "Happy Birthday"
As someone with bipolar it’s not a way to get out of something that you did that was horrible
A compromise isn't a compromise unless everyone comes out feeling Like they lost something 20:45
Imagining that Karen do the Flop killed me! 🤣🤣🤣
Story 2, glad the younger nephews realize that they where in the wrong and tried to mend bridges
Maybe the kids heart stopped and the Karen didn't know how to say it💀💀😂😂😂💀💀
Nr 1 rule. Never tell that u called police on someone. Just wait and then enjoy the situation :)
Any person that's ever started to yell because their entitlement couldn't be fulfilled should get some teeth knocked out.
I agree report that woman to DSS Department of Human Services CPS whatever its called in your State and you let her know when you get home from the hospital you keep your children to yourself take your own children shopping thank you.😮
First story: Tell "Karen" that she couldn't babysit her kids if she dies.
Happy Thanksgiving today!
That 2nd story it's gonna take him going to prison for him to change
I think the grandkid should talk to their brother about each other giving a certain amount to the grandparents and parents
In the second story, it sounds like ODD that was never addressed and became bipolar disorder
Second Story:
Get the Nephew some help at an Amen Clinic.
GIVE THE MONEY TO GRANDMA
Now if someone dropped their kids in my door neighbour, relative or not, I call the cops without noticing the parent. If they can drop them off without a notice I can call without one.
The first story, the crazy neighbor, is actually just a Narcissist. They only view themselves as a person going through an experience and that everyone else are just to fill in characters to help her on her selfish adventures. They are incapable of any compassion or empathy.
I personally would give the money to the grandparents
Nephew in second story sounds like he also has ODD, oppositional defiant disorder. My youngest child has it. Kids with odd can be extremely difficult to handle, but with a lot of structure and guidance it can be managed.
Emotional Damage 🤣🤣🤣
Nah, after that day, I would NEVER watch her kids ever again. She would just be knocking and knocking. Or I would call CPS for child neglect. I bet she'll keep her kids then.
The game i recognize the cartoon for that character is it the “oddbods” omg the nostalgia 😢
It's against the law to stop ambulances just like when people don't pull over when they're coming down the road.
When she got tazed i smiled
First Karen, she should never be allowed to have anything, not even a bowl of sea monkeys! If anything, she should be in jail for child neglect!
I wanted to believe that the neighbour loves the old lady and wasn’t able to believe and she tried all that 😂 nvm that sucks
My grandmothers friend is bipolar and he is one of the funniest people ever. The only bad idea things he does is smoke.
@Ich Zitiere He is
Cant the Karen from story one be charged with child abandonment because she left them with someone they barely knew for long periods at a time? Also can’t she be charged with reckless endangerment because she was trying to take the ambulance cot out the ambulance and could have killed her?
In my opinion the 3rd one the grandmother is the one who needs it cos in sure that the adoption costs and requirements are there to ensure that there’s a reasonable income to support a child
The Eldest Nephew I think might become a criminal.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone from Tacoma Washington! ( Stay Safe)
That's also elder abuse. Sad
What the hell is wrong with people these days
So many things.
my fav thing to lesson to while eating a chicken soup and some good bread happy thanksgiving
The girl really said 😡🦶🦶😶⚡️⚡️⚡️😪
For story three you should give 75% to your grandparents and 25% to your parents
For that first story, I hope someone repeats those same lines to her when she's in a similar situation
My mom is bipolar and she NEVER acted like that nor did she ever blame anything on her bipolar
the first karens need to be child protective services to be called on
The Karen on the first story is absolutely ridiculous and selfish.
