    What's your pro tip if I'm a shy person how does it work along with becoming an actor?
    And I think I'm scared of the director shouting at me😅
    How do I overcome this?

      @pateristic 5 років тому +7

      *BE* friendly, you should act like confident and friendly guy. Well we're future actors then it will really be part of the journey that we will will be shouted ta bu the director

      As much as you will hate hearing this, the best way to get rid of your nerves and to stop being shy is by simply facing your fears. Some call it exposure therapy. It’s just like working out. If you’ve never worked out before, the first few days will be your sorest moments, but over the next few days and weeks the soreness will dissipate away. This is the same with shyness. Next time you feel shy, try facing that moment and then the next and the next. Over time you will get more confident and comfortable. Now of course, don’t do anything crazy and say “well I’m not comfortable jumping into a pit of wild dog, so I’ll do that” no you do not want to do that. Of course do this within reason, but if your nervous to speak up in a conversation, than decide to do it, speak up. In the reasonable moments in your life, face those fears and make sure you are facing your fears each day. You will notice your confidence will grow and acting will seem very easy.

      its easier for kids. you will need less experience. just get an agent and audition.

    • @thelionater4640
      @thelionater4640 5 років тому

      arian varnoos well he could mean something different with kid, maybe he does mean what you think(example:4-11) then you do need less experience but when your older than that you need to have the same experience as an adult, the only thing that makes it easier is less competition

      Bro I'm in the exact same situation as you but the difference is that I'm french. I'm bilingual but not officially ( I have to pass my last international test) I really I wish I could take part in American/ British movies or series....

    • @TheActorsAcademy

      If anyone is trying to act, but not in their native language, than you would want to be proficient enough in the other language, simply to be understood. Being proficiently bilingual can be beneficial for an actor as well. It does not guarantee that you will book a part, but it does have its benefits.
      I’d suggest that if you are planning to move out here, that it is not solely to become an actor. You don’t want to rely on your financial stability to be on you booking a role, because you never know how long that might take or what the role might be. Usually if you have something else going on besides acting, it ends up being more beneficial to the individual in the long run.

    James Dean was strong but he also had a sense of vulnerability, which is what made him great. I am not an actor (not that I'm aware of anyways or not professionally) but I do love acting and actors and movies and TV. I'd like to think I have the heart of an actor.
