Is it possible for the boost too leak into the coolant and build pressure in the degas bottle

It is but that's usually a head gasket issue.

Any thoughts on coolant not returning to rad once cooled ? Thus happened b4 hg was done and the head was pressure tested etc my gut tells me it's something else.
I have some thoughts
Water pump don't have obvious leak but allowing air in
Slightly restricted rad .
Failing bekt tensioner /pully
Months back I had some groaning noise it was intermittent. Mostly at lower speeds rarely heard it at speed . Thus is puzzling garage can't find any faults or at least shat the cause is
