comicbook accurate? across the Spiderverse? nothing about that movie is true at all. For example, Spider-Man 2099 is not realistic in the same way as the comics, nor is Ben Reily or Jessica Drew, not even Miles is comically accurate, Spider-Man india? how about India x america, why do that? they cant let india be india without relying on AMERICAN . The comic and the movie EVENT are not the same. If anything, LET THERE BE CARNAGE is the best adaptation of Spider-Man stories; it's still a terrible movie but a good adaptation. ATSV, is its own thing, and I'm thankful that the writing is still strong, but this is not a good adaptation of anything, good movie but horrible adaption. The whole movie falls apart if you watch it through the comic book lens ,like the scene where all of Parker's decisions to let someone die for some canon because it makes Peter turn back into the jerk that he was before he let the criminal go, which ultimately led to Uncle Ben's death, its so out of character for all the parkers especially Spectacular SM, he literally swears not to do that shit but he did it. If you close mind and not think about it or think this is not Parkers, though, everything is fine.
