Regarding the heart... Its practically impossible to grab a heart from where she cut, she's cutting the abdomen whereas the heart is in the thorax between the two lungs.. There is a dome shaped muscle called diaphragm partioning the thorax and the abdomen.. Even if she cut the thorax you have to go through the ribs first and there's no space to just grab the heart its tightly placed between the lungs.. I'm no expert in vampire anatomy but i suppose it's the same as humans..😄 It would be more realistic if she had cut it higher and grab it slightly to left side of the lower chest.. I dont know why they make this kind of basic blunders.. They wouldn't even have to consult a medical professional, even just googling the basic human anatomy would have solved it..

The lycan father and son who experimented with the blood of the daughter became evolved lycans, both without weaknesses to silver, the son gaining his size while the dad gaining a human lycan form if you can call it.

While Michael does briefly appear in Underworld: Awakening, he's not played by Scott Speedman. Series creator Len Wiseman later explained that after focusing on the Selene/Michael dynamic in the first two movies, part 4 was intended to revolve around Selene and her hybrid daughter. It's unknown if Scott Speedman was approached for Underworld: Blood Wars and turned it down, or if producers decided the character had run his course. Speedman hasn't addressed his Underworld exit in the years since he last appeared, and franchise overseer Len Wiseman has also not acknowledged the actor's absence. Either way, the franchise gave Michael a rather blunt ending that somewhat undermines his status as one of the most powerful creatures within the world of the franchise.
It should be noted Scott also refused to return to the series. He has some bad blood with them I forgot what exactly the drama was about but I do remember him having some sort of beef about it.
Scott Speedman became incredibly famouse after this project, the fans loved the movies and his character Michael Corvin, but then they made the third instalment where he had no role. In the next movie they wanted to do stories about Selene and her daughter and for a strange reason Michael became a support role... There’s many different tangents and storylines, many different worlds you could play around within all of that. Even within the styles of that genre, you could play around with that character, the dynamics in that world, him being outside of it and reluctant to be a part of it. I love that genre, so it’d be fun for me." I think the creators did not use the character as well as posible, and they just shiftedthe atention on the girls, they could also not kill him off fast because the fans were hoping for him to return... The way the character went was incredibly stupid and it kind of ruined the Universe... the writing just became bad and the last 2 movies killed the franchise.
I hope that Scott returns in the series that they will make of Underworld or at least in a new movie, I bought any invention to bring Michael back, I read an interview of him in variety or I don't know where he said he would be willing to return now or I think he had implied that by saying that he didn't close any doors or he doesn't think he's finished with anything, there is still hope momentarily.
@@JuanitoEsBonitoI remember that Len Wiseman got kinda jealous of the chemistry between Len and Kate during the first 2 movies (beware that Kate & Len were married at the time) so Len didn’t want to Scott to come back to the franchise. Very sad because his character was super interesting!
Regular Vampires cannot revive their kind the way Selene did.. she's able to do that, because she got to trink Alexander Corvinus' blood in the second movie, which made her an advanced kind of Vampire, which David is now as well..
13:03 • in case no one told you…in the Underworld Universe vampires are alive. They breathe, eat, drink, bleed, have heart beats & so can have children. In one of the Underworld books it is explained that Sonja is the biological daughter of Viktor & his vampire wife Ilona making Sonja a pure blood vampire just like Lucian was a pure blood werewolf & the 1st Lycan. The next/last one, Blood Wars, is my fav!
Although Selene is "evolved" since she drank the Corvinus blood, Victor's real daughter did become pregnant in the "Rise of the Lycans" prequel. Her (Victor's Daughter) pregnancy was why he had her put to death.
I don't know why anyone should feel guilty over this lol.. it's a great franchise and badass movies. why call it guilty pleasure. that would apply to something stupid like Twilight lol
@@mayaamis It is just fun and cheesy but well done. I like it but it is more on the cheesy side of movies that is enjoyable but not the greatest plot ever hahah that is why I consider it a "guilty pleasure"
@@lillianbarbieri7771I also have to disagree with u. Nothing cheesy in these movies. When they came out they were considered well made badass horror action movies. They may be a bit dated nowadays but weren’t silly looking at their time. I also have a guilty vampire pleasure movie franchise and its called Twilight.😂
One thing that I must point out: these series aren't settled in the UK. First movie is located in Budapest, the second one in diverse Hungarian locations, Rise of the Lycans somewhere in Hungary, and Awakening is unknown, but it seems like it also takes place in Hungary. Also, the low-budget lycans are a thing that they chose to maintain along the saga. You may like them or not, but they became a thing back in the day and they decided to keep them.
@@strangerthings88 They actually did mix animatronics , puppets and makeup in with the CGI for the Lycans, Super Lycans, Hybrids and Werewolves though as well as Viktor and Marcus`s desiccated forms when they first came out of hibernation . The Underworld franchise doesn`t use as much CGI as most people think. The CGI is mostly for the transformation scenes and when the Lycans` eyes go full white.
@@aspieanarchist5439 I’m aware that’s what I said with a few exceptions. Most other movies don’t even put any effort into it because kids will see whatever I guess. It’s a shake just like the first Matrix was almost perfect then they ruined all the films with awful in your face CGI.
To answer your question on if the truck driver Selene bites in the beginning would turn into a vampire: they established in the 1st movie that vampire/werewolf bites are usually lethal to humans and only a small percentage actual survive long enough to transform.
The first 2 movies and the prequel they watched before this one all make that clear. They even actively commented on it when it came up in Rise of the Lycans.
Aeon Flux and Ultraviolet were fun, female-fronted futuristic fantasy sci-fi movies too. Aeon Flux is played by Charlize Theron and Ultraviolet was another Milla Jovovich movie. Loved both. I watched the Aeon Flux "anime" back in the 90s as well.
Kris Holden-Reid who plays Quint, the Uber-Lycan was the second lead in the TV series ‘Lost Girl’. The heroine in the series was a Succubus, a beautiful bad-ass woman in black leather who hunts at night. (Sound familiar?) Holden-Reid played Police Homicide Detective Dyson Thornwood, who happens to be a 1,500 year old ‘wolf-shifter’, a Werewolf! You guys seem to have watched the original theatrical version of the first film ‘Underworld’ where in Lucian’s flashback Sonja was played by an unknown actress and died as a helpless victim screaming in pain. Other reactors appear to have watched the ‘George Lucas’ version of the first film Underworld where they have replaced the unknown actress playing Sonja with Rhona Mitra from the prequel where Sonja faced her death bravely.
Did she hunt at night? I dont remember that when I watched Lost Girl. I know that she feeds off others but I dont remember her only "hunting" at night. I think it was more of a at random times thing. unless you are stating specifically all the times she has sex during the night?
Me, my brother and sister love vampires and werewolves. We love the Underworld franchise. Awakening was the first one my mom watched and she loved it, especially Eve. She wanted to watch the others. We binged watched all of them with her. We spent the whole time referring to Michael and Selene as the "Baby Mama" and the "Baby Daddy" because of Eve. Also Viktor was Step Pawpaw Kraven was wannabe "Baby Daddy". We gave other characters nicknames too. 😂😂😂
Lily Mo (Kate’s daughter) was being bullied in school. One day she took a magazine with a promo shot of Selene holding two guns to school.. next time she got bullied she pulled it out. “THAT’S my mommy”! 😂 Had a movie night with my stepmom when this came out. She didn’t tell me she was terrified. Watched the ENTIRE movie with a smile to make me think she was okay. My dad asked what we watched because she’d been having nightmares for a month. I kept asking if she wanted me to turn it off, and put in another movie. Kept saying no. 😭
I think at this point the crappy cgi/visuals on the werewolves have been such a part of the franchise, I would honestly be sad if they suddenly had amazing looking ones.
Also fun fact: despite the fact that Selene is an enhanced vampire and being one of the main characters, she has never once ever growled, hissed, roared or snarled in the series.
That's a good question. But the thing is she's several hundred years old. And I know you might say that if course Viktor is way older what's my point. She might have just out grown that. Not to mention everyone's personality is different. Animals alike. So some react to situations one way, and others react different. She was easily the dopest vamp in her coven. Kraven sucked. She just had a different energy to her. Do to me she was above that because she would rather think than just go all animal in situations. But these are just my thoughts. Nothing more.
That goes without saying... What they're asking is can you practically grab a heart from where she cut... which is not possible since the heart is situated much higher up in the thorax (Chest) between the two lungs.. she was cutting the abdomen at the level of stomach and upper intestine.. The abdomen and thorax are partitioned by a dome like muscle meaning you can't directly reach the heart from where she cut..
@@strangerthings88 You clearly don't know what a human diaphragm is and how important it is for your survival. Good luck tearing a hole through the diaphragm and judging from her hand position she will most likely tear through the lower part of food pipe, your largest artery in the body causing more harm than heal. There's a reason we do heart surgery through the chest not through the abdomen. Don't talk about things you don't know.
@@mamuana2006 THESE ARE VAMPIRES IN A FANTASY FILM THAT HEAL AFTER MOST INJURIES. You need medicated and probably a lobotomy after that absolute MORONIC comment. Good Christ 😂🙄
This is what one could or would call a cult movie series. Not the biggest budgets some times cheesy but a ton of fun that people still watch decades after they where released .
To be honest with you I didn't really remember this this movie as much as I thought I did but I enjoyed watching your guys's reaction refreshed my memory about it a little bit can't wait for the next one
I think you would like her in Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman. It has werewolves, vampires, and the Frankenstein Monster. You might like the effects better too.
Keep in mind Selene has the blood of a Corvinus in her, she is no longer just a regular vampire which is why she can now walk in the sun, heal somebody with her blood she’s has the blood of one of the first vampires ever. I also think Scott didn’t get to come back to the franchise (this is just what I read) is because him and Kate had an affair but that could just be a scandal and they needed a reason but again just what I read years ago.
Know you all will not see this - but there are 2 movies that may be of interest... One on vampires starring Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil - Franchise) starring in Ultraviolet (2006) - were she becomes a vampire and her gun are reloaded through tech in her bracelets... It's soo cool... And, because you mentioned - Road House - try - Grindhouse Presents - Death Proof (2007) by Quinton Tarantino... Only try if you have nothing unique to react to and we haven't seen to the point of - over saturation...
underworld is definitely one of my favorite series which kind of falls in line with the resident evil movies with mila jovovich in feel. they arent big block buster movies and not critically aclaimed but they are a solid movie
Yeah, the direct "heart massage" after thoracotomy works. It is indicated in cardiac arrest after chest perforating wounds (bullets or stabbing objects). In these cases, normal CPR with chest pumps is not indicated. Have never done it myself, one of my instructors had and he described the experience of feeling the strong cardiac muscle refilling with blood, contracting and start pumping again inside your palm as unique.
Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman is great,..I LOVE the chick vampires. They're super badass. Queen of the Damned. Cheesy but still sweet is the Blade franchise...esp part 2. And I absolutely love 28 Days/Weeks Later movies.
@@carlosruben3045Based on similar lore that I’ve read, natural born vampires stop aging once they reach physical maturity. That would be somewhere between 18-25.
🖤LOVE the Underworld movie series!!! Kris Holden-Reid, the Mega-Lycan was a werewolf in the 'Lost Girl’ tv series -2010-2016 as Detective Dyson -Lost Girl, Bo was a succubus & included so many fantasy characters -Very creative tv series!
In England they do things differently like begin their counting starting at zero. I learned that in the video game Hogwarts Legacy. There's puzzles to figure out but the numbers don't start at 1 they start at 0. Love these movies.😊
I actually like the bulky, larger werewolves from the Underworld Franchise. Makes them look more menacing and a force to be reckoned with rather than derpy wolves from other movies. I think the CGI wasn't just up to par considering the budget when you think about movies from today and their ridiculous cost.
The next one "Blood Wars" is another interesting add to the storyline. I really hope they will do at least another one. They do always leave the door open to do that. Love this series even though the CGI is not the greatest. Sort of reminds me of old movies without being perfect.
I re-watched the movies like two months ago or so and when I came to Blood Wars, I had to shut it off after 30 minutes. They crammed about a film and a half's worth of stuff into that space and my mind was getting annoyed. I ALREADY think way too fast, so while I was uncaffeinated, the movie made me feel like I had drank some of my self-brewed strong coffee. Not to mention that the big threat is a double rehash.
I've only just found about you.. I don't know how. I've spent the week watching all your fantastic beasts and Harry Potter but I found you from underworld ✌️
8:10 when u asked if the driver was gonna turn, just feeding on victims doesnt impart the virus they need to feed the victim some of their own blood to turn like she did with Michael in the first film
13:26 Immortals can have kids you saw it being possible in the last movie. The caveat is from what I’ve seen it’s EXTREMELY RARE & only extremely old and strong vampires or Lycans can I’m talking 1st or 2nd generation immortals. Selene is a 3rd generation immortal through Victor but she’s the first ever Vampire corvinus hybrid. She is right now one of a handful of vampires that has the purest strain of corvinus’s blood in their system. Everyone has been turned via a bite or born from a person without tasting a corvinus’s blood up until Selene. This makes her not just a hybrid now but also now a progenitor. The same goes for Michael as he is the first hybrid ever. Lucien almost had a child with Sonja that kid would’ve not just been the first hybrid but the first natural born one. Though now Eve is as she’s the first natural born hybrid and also a direct corvinus descendant of Alexander making her basically immortal royalty &a immortal steroid for any immortal or human being if she’s bitten or if she bites someone else
Not sure if anyone has already pointed this out, but Stephen Rea the actor who played the role of Jacob the Lycan scientist also played the role of the vampire Santiago, one of members of the vampire Armand's theater troupe in "Interview with the Vampire" he was the one Louis played by Brad Pitt cut in two with the farm scythe.
Thanks for reviewing these films and I'm glad you enjoy them and you can relate to what they are and the context they came from. I fell in love with the character of Selene from these movies and I love the stylistic, dark, Gothic vibe. If you like Kate Beckinsale as an action Queen with vampires and werewolves, you should also check out Van Helsing, which was made in the middle of these. She plays a similar type of character, but on the human side, although the mythology is very similar. Again, it's a medieval action fantasy, you don't need to think about it too much and the CGI is not perfect, but I don't think Kate has ever looked better. It's a one-off, but worth a look after you finish this franchise.
“Vampires can’t have kids” Forgot that the whole reason the war started was cause Viktor killed his own daughter cause she was pregnant with Lucian’s baby. 😆
This is the one I've only seen once, but it's still good! Involving the humans knowing about them took it in a new direction & we got introduced to new characters, glad Quinn is really enjoying them too! Again a very underrated franchise that's just bloody awesome!
FYI… Celine usually uses a pair of Beretta 93Rs that have been modified to be fully auto. They have 30 round magazines. That being said, a little suspension of disbelief for the movie magic is also nice.
I never would have watched these movies BUT now that you guys are watching I am watching them right before you do. Been enjoying the journey with you guys. 😮😮
"Vampires can't have children!" No? Were you not paying attention in Rise of the Lycans? Victor's DAUGHTER Sonja was PREGNANT by Lucien. Sounds like two examples of vampires having kids, to me! LOL
In the not so distant past every other police car in Germany was a Mercedes, they were extremely popular as taxis too. The same is true of several other European countries, back in the day Mercedes really knew how to build a quality car with mythical reliability; the cop car in the film is a W124, the last really good Mercedes. In terms of setting only the first film is set in London, the rest of the films revolve around eastern and central Europe with filming mostly taking place in Budapest.
41:40 That is the whole series. It's made for a specific audience and that audience is getting exactly what they want. This series is not for the average viewer, though even for the average viewer the series is still entertaining, which is good enough for most people.
I love this movies with Kate because i love vampires and werewolfes. 😊❤ Ps: Do a reaction of the movie "Van Helsing" is a bad ass movie, sooo good and amazing, i watch Van helsing more times than i can count 😅 it's one of my favorites movies in the world, and i absolutely will LOVE IT watch you guys doing a reaction about this movie. ❤
I waited 8 years for those 8 precious seconds of subject 2 fighting. 8 years it took them to give me a creature I could actually believe was an actual cross between a vampire lycan and could hold its own in a fight.
Heart massages are sometimes done during surgery, but those are clean sterile environments. Doing that out in the open would likely cause more harm because the person would most likely become infected from various germs and bacteria. So yes, it is a medical technique that doctors can use to restart a heart, though it is not used often, and I highly doubt a doctor would try it outside of surgery.
Saw this movie when it came out in 3D. The beginning water to froze bubbles transition was trippy. The silver particles in the air was really cool too.
25:36 Yes the heart massage is an actual procedure. I’m not medical professional. Though it’s not exactly a very common thing like it’s literally something people will do as a last resort or last ditch effort in certain cases. It does work but it’s not done the way Selene did it there would be WAY MORE PREPARATION AND PROCEDURE. There’s also something known as an open heart shocking ergo internal defibrillation which they assuming your heart is exposed will grab I’d call them tongs that hold your heart in place and they run a precise current through them shocking your heart into a survivable rhythm or possibly reset your heart. Medicine is fun to learn about honestly.
Reaction Request❗ A movie that might be outside your current wheelhouse, but stars Kate, Emma Thompson, Keanu Reves, Denzel Washington, and more: Much Ado About Nothing. Yes it's Shakespeare, but it's a delightful, tongue in cheek comedy/drama, and the cast is stacked!! *Edited to add: and they all act their asses off which is what makes it so much fun! Would absolutely love to see your reactions to something a little bit different with some of the channel's famailiar actors ❤
Firdt two movies are definitely part of my childhood, no doubts. The rest of movies from this franchise ended up being something a didn't notice at all.
GREAT reaction fellas!! For the record, yes heart massage works😆I had a friend who was a surgical nurse and that was her main job in theater. She was hella short so she had a special step stool she'd bring into surgery so she could be at proper height to access the heart at an easier angle. They also had a way they could set up tool tables for her to lean her chest on to lower stress on her back if it was anticipated to be a scenario she would have to massage for long lengths of time. She told me the longest she ever massaged during surgery was over an hour and said she couldn't use her hands the next day from tightness and forearm cramps from being super worked. She was only 5'4" tall but she was strong!! She was also a ginger so I think that helped keep her going!😂 And yeah, this most certainly wasn't Stephen Rhea's finest work, not by a long shot but I just adore that man! His portfolio of films and theater is phenomenal, once he got my attention in Interview With A Vampire (Santiago) I wanted to see more and I wasn't sorry. He's done some AMAZING films. I'm SURE I've mentioned it in the past and I unfortunately can't remember if y'all told me you've already seen it back in the day, but I would LOVE to see you bois make it through Battlestar Galactica (2004) particularly because y'all are the age you were probably old enough to remember the original, at least in re-runs. Still my favorite Sci-Fi series to date, although Firefly and Farscape give it a helluva run for 1st place🤣
I appreciated the first 3 when it came out. I actually like the non-cgi werewolves. 4 and 5 are just downhill. You should watch Dog Soldiers! Go in blind (solo film)
I remember being pretty annoyed and upset that Michael wasn't in the film lol. He was my favorite character in the series so far. But the helpful detective guy or whatever and her daughter were both pretty cool characters, plus he ended up not actually being dead, so by the end I was placated enough. Really wanted to see the family together though. Can't say any more about annoyances in the future due to spoilers but yeah xD fun reaction yall
Can't wait for you guys to do the final movie Underworld: Blood Wars. Selene is awesome as usual but Laura Pulver friggin' kills it and who doesn't love Bradley James lol
on IMDb Scott Speedman is only credited as Michael in the form of Archive Footage, but there's no other actor who's credited for playing Michael, so they might have just used CGI to recreate him for that one scene

Has that been confirmed and not just a rumour?
Regular Vampires cannot revive their kind the way Selene did.. she's able to do that, because she got to trink Alexander Corvinus' blood in the second movie, which made her an advanced kind of Vampire, which David is now as well..
I love how ironically Oak loves Twilight. Those are still my favorite reactions you guys have done.
They were just so much fun to watch! -Oak
I would feel generous if I rated Twilight as a 2.
Her (Victor's Daughter) pregnancy was why he had her put to death.
sonja was also BORN a vampire
@@houseofaction True, So I guess a set of functional ovaries was OE or perhaps the Corvinus blood jump started Selene's...;)
Yes we all saw the prequel already I don’t get your comment?
i always keep coming back for kate beckinsale.
Kate in a latex catsuit is always a good reason to rewatch the Underworld series.
This will always be my guilty pleasure franchise. I'm happy you are checking it out.
Yesss.. I don’t care what anyone says, this is my Twlight lol I was too old to for that franchise but this is my jam
@@NinjaBee81True. Special Effects are funny like that. When we see better we make that the standard.
They always looked terrifying to me except when they used too much CGI in this movie. Nothing beats practical costumes no matter what year.
Aye, because it's an infection, with immortality being a side effect if you survive. Possibly even being WHY you survive.
Alexander corvinous's blood brought him back. Now he is immune to sunlight.
You guys weren’t paying attention. The first two movies spoke about victors daughter being pregnant by lucian
Additionally, David was born a Vampire.
Good ones!
Also Salt!
LOVED Lost Girl series!!!
Had a movie night with my stepmom when this came out.
The werewolves at the beginning of Evolution were pretty damn convincing and good looking.
You guys are the only ones I can find who have reacted to this movie so thank you!!!!
Same!
I dont know if you guys have seen Daybreakers (2010) but that is an awesome vampire movie, and its somewhat of a scientific take on the genre.
Also fun fact: despite the fact that Selene is an enhanced vampire and being one of the main characters, she has never once ever growled, hissed, roared or snarled in the series.
Because she didn't need to. She was so above that.
@@chimerius24 so guessing from that logic, characters like Viktor or Michael shouldn't be doing that either right?
That's a good question. But the thing is she's several hundred years old. And I know you might say that if course Viktor is way older what's my point. She might have just out grown that. Not to mention everyone's personality is different. Animals alike. So some react to situations one way, and others react different. She was easily the dopest vamp in her coven. Kraven sucked. She just had a different energy to her. Do to me she was above that because she would rather think than just go all animal in situations. But these are just my thoughts. Nothing more.
She was a domesticated house... vampire hybrid.
her grabbing his heart to bring him back was more having to do with her special blood from Corvinus
exactly what i thought to!
@@mamuana2006she can literally punch through concrete a muscle isn’t gonna stop her hand from getting to the heart…
I would advise "Dracula untold" as a must see
This is what one could or would call a cult movie series.
Effects are terrible in that movie
Keep in mind Selene has the blood of a Corvinus in her, she is no longer just a regular vampire which is why she can now walk in the sun, heal somebody with her blood she’s has the blood of one of the first vampires ever. I also think Scott didn’t get to come back to the franchise (this is just what I read) is because him and Kate had an affair but that could just be a scandal and they needed a reason but again just what I read years ago.
tbh out of all of the underworld movies this one was one of my all time faves
I had to look up about Scott Speedman and ot say they used archive footage and stand ins. It was bugging me too😂
Sonya was pregnant with Lucian child
And Selena and Michael are hybrids
And a new generation
Selene's blood brought him back and also let him walk in the sun
Ok no need to spoil the next movie
Know you all will not see this - but there are 2 movies that may be of interest... One on vampires starring Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil - Franchise) starring in Ultraviolet (2006) - were she becomes a vampire and her gun are reloaded through tech in her bracelets... It's soo cool...
And, because you mentioned - Road House - try - Grindhouse Presents - Death Proof (2007) by Quinton Tarantino... Only try if you have nothing unique to react to and we haven't seen to the point of - over saturation...
Hawkeye massaged a heart in MASH, so you know it's real 😮😂
I just want to say the rate at which you guys give us content is amazing. I really appreciate you guys
underworld is definitely one of my favorite series which kind of falls in line with the resident evil movies with mila jovovich in feel. they arent big block buster movies and not critically aclaimed but they are a solid movie
I really hope you guys watch Dracula Untold, Van Helsing, Queen of the Damned, 30 Days of Nights and Daybreakers.
Omg YESSSSS!!! PLEASE!!!!! 🤩
Good October movies! And Kate is beyond gorgeous in Van Helsing
YESS
Yeaaaaa
Bram Stokers Dracula is amazing too
It was...complicated. There are interviews with Scott on this topic. There are UA-cam videos on the making of this film.
Yes, vampires can have kids. Victor was sonja’s father.
When vampires are naturally born do they grow old???
Possibly in this universe vampires can only have children with nonvampires.
@@carlosruben3045Based on similar lore that I’ve read, natural born vampires stop aging once they reach physical maturity. That would be somewhere between 18-25.
My first watching this my mouth dropped when I seen the big Lycan lol
I believe the movie "I, Frankenstein" was originally written to be set in the underworld universe. You might want to check it out.
What really?
Yes I have seen cardiovascular surgeons, massaging the heart with their hands as the patient is rushed back to surgery.
My friend joked Kates husband didn’t want Scott Speedman back after that sex scene in the second film
He’s the one that made them do it…
I actually like the bulky, larger werewolves from the Underworld Franchise. Makes them look more menacing and a force to be reckoned with rather than derpy wolves from other movies. I think the CGI wasn't just up to par considering the budget when you think about movies from today and their ridiculous cost.
They looked amazing and terrifying as costumes with guys on stilts. Just like the Alien movies looked best before CGI took over everything
Sometimes in open heart surgery i believe they do massage the heart back into pumping so it is somewhat based in science
Kris Holden-Ried also played a werewolf in the TV show "Lost Girl".
This is my favourite vampire franchise, watched it at least 15 times every one, love it
The way I yell "Badd medicine is BACK" with you guys is getting out of control...😂❤
I love when you're doing franchises in general, it's always fun to rewatch with y'all :D
This was always my favorite of the franchise because of the whole humans finding them out and stuff.
This is the one I've only seen once, but it's still good! Involving the humans knowing about them took it in a new direction & we got introduced to new characters, glad Quinn is really enjoying them too! Again a very underrated franchise that's just bloody awesome!
Did I wanna be their child as much as I wanted to be a mermaid as a kid yeah I did 😂
FYI… Celine usually uses a pair of Beretta 93Rs that have been modified to be fully auto. They have 30 round magazines. That being said, a little suspension of disbelief for the movie magic is also nice.
The guy that played the bulky wolf also played a werewolf in lost girl too
I never would have watched these movies BUT now that you guys are watching I am watching them right before you do.
LOL
off topic but Mason’s absolutely rocking those bracelets lol love it
In the not so distant past every other police car in Germany was a Mercedes, they were extremely popular as taxis too.
Ps: Do a reaction of the movie "Van Helsing" is a bad ass movie, sooo good and amazing, i watch Van helsing more times than i can count 😅 it's one of my favorites movies in the world, and i absolutely will LOVE IT watch you guys doing a reaction about this movie. ❤
Van helsing is awsome!
Yes please!!
Van Helsing is next level shit for real.
Penny Dreadful?
I waited 8 years for those 8 precious seconds of subject 2 fighting. 8 years it took them to give me a creature I could actually believe was an actual cross between a vampire lycan and could hold its own in a fight.
Healthcare provider here 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾…, NO, NOPE!! You cannot not restart a heart in that manner. Not how that works. But I do love this franchise!!!!!!!
Fun fact, the guy who plays the main werewolf also plays a werewolf in lost girl. I guess he was not acting after all !
He plays a zombie in the movie The Returned as well.
I've loved the Underworld movies from the opening scene in the first. Selene is just so cool and who doesn't love super sexy vampires.
U guys oughta try Queen of the Damned with Stewart Townsend and Aliyah. Incredible soundtrack as well
Heart massages are sometimes done during surgery, but those are clean sterile environments.
Should do Ultraviolet next. :D Still sort of Vampire.

A movie that might be outside your current wheelhouse, but stars Kate, Emma Thompson, Keanu Reves, Denzel Washington, and more: Much Ado About Nothing.
The nice thing about practical effects is that there is a limit to what you can do.
Firdt two movies are definitely part of my childhood, no doubts. The rest of movies from this franchise ended up being something a didn't notice at all.
Already in the book "The Little Amateur Surgeon", this type of heart massage is very well described.
Kris Holden-Reid is also in the TV show Lost Girl as a werewolf. Highly recommend.
Love your Underworld reactions. The movies are unapologetic schlock and I love them.
She was also a ginger so I think that helped keep her going!😂
And yeah, this most certainly wasn't Stephen Rhea's finest work, not by a long shot but I just adore that man!
Michael is subject 0 because his bloodline is the base for their experiments since his a descendent of the original Lycan
I appreciated the first 3 when it came out.
I actually like the non-cgi werewolves.
4 and 5 are just downhill.
You should watch Dog Soldiers! Go in blind (solo film)
Heart massaging is an actual; method used by doctors albeit rare.
I think you guys would really enjoy The Wolfman (2010). It's a great one for the Halloween season
This was better than I remembered it being. I hated that Scott Speedman wasn't in it ( they cgi'd his face on another actor)!
Can't wait for you guys to do the final movie Underworld: Blood Wars. Selene is awesome as usual but Laura Pulver friggin' kills it and who doesn't love Bradley James lol
Lol, the "vampires can't have kids" made me laugh considering Sonya was pregnant AND was Victor's daughter :P
I’ve been waiting for the last two..enjoy guys !!
on IMDb Scott Speedman is only credited as Michael in the form of Archive Footage, but there's no other actor who's credited for playing Michael, so they might have just used CGI to recreate him for that one scene
Lucian and victors daughter would have had a child...a hybrid child.
