I have more of a pastel barbie look and I really appreciate goths and their whole aesthetic. I lovee goth music and seeing people pull off that style, it's so gorgeous!!

Yeah it’s definitely a struggle but once you start feeling yourself in an outfit it really helps with the anxiety I’ve found. It’s like another way to express yourself especially if you don’t feel as comfortable expressing yourself when speaking

“Why would you put yourself 3rd?” Self-esteem should be talked about more in our society. She obviously likes her style best because she’s wearing it, but low self-confidence has her putting herself down when it’s obvious she put a lot of effort curating her clothes and matching them together.
When I was younger I was sooo selfconcious about my body, partially because I am quite tall and was very shy about it, so I tried not sticking out too much with my style. But about 1 year ago I started dressing how I wanted, with what I thought was pretty. And I'm having the time of my life rn
Exactly. It's all about confidence and just going for what you love with yourself. And it's funny, because I LOVE many different fashions, like the goth girl was so cute, the Barbie girl slayed that dress, I'd be their besties in a heartbeat, but those clothes could never be for me.

I really liked the Model Agent tbh. He was super objective and didn't get offensive. People have to understand that it's literally his job to judge people on their apperiance but he shows that you can do that professionally without really hurting people's feelings and being rude.

Take it from me that is not most streetwear. At least not Fashion Week streetwear. Streetwear is daring, playing with shapes and proportions, patterns and layers. I mean, I’m biased but to me it’s not fashion unless it’s a little surprising. Nothing about that girl’s outfit was surprising. My little sister wears streetwear and oversized, masculine shapes and she would def wear some of those pieces (those trousers for sure), just not together, because then it’s just clothes on a body, not an OUTFIT. So yeah, of course it’s up to interpretation, but I was really confused by the super-positive reaction that a majority of them gave camping girl (no hate, honestly). I don't think she was judging at all? She stopped herself to compliment her, and I think it's just perspective. It makes sense to me that streetwear girl wouldn't personally like the Barbie outfit; they're different tonally. At the end of the day, they lined up for their overall looks to be ranked, so you have to expect some opinions shifted, but from everyone's inflections, I didn't get the vibe that anyone was trying to be mean or judgemental. Like the guys had a good example for the teacher look. If she styled it a bit more, had a trenchcoat or something to make it pop a bit more, she likely would have ranked higher, but she kept it simple. In the end, they're all cuties and I hope they all dress as they feel comfortable with, not for how others see them.

Take it from me that is not most streetwear. At least not Fashion Week streetwear. Streetwear is daring, playing with shapes and proportions, patterns and layers. I mean, I’m biased but to me it’s not fashion unless it’s a little surprising. Nothing about that girl’s outfit was surprising. My little sister wears streetwear and oversized, masculine shapes and she would def wear some of those pieces (those trousers for sure), just not together, because then it’s just clothes on a body, not an OUTFIT. So yeah, of course it’s up to interpretation, but I was really confused by the super-positive reaction that a majority of them gave camping girl (no hate, honestly).
My rating would be white zebra monochrome 1st, y2k barbie 2nd, coffin purse 3rd, redhead 4th, and camping girl 5th :o

It's how society views her outfit basically. I know it was only 10 or 11 people rating them but most people don't dress like her so it's not as accepted. I think she was cute too but they all were really. I liked the girl in the "teacher's" outfit a lot too even though most people didn't. Her outfit was more normal than the others but still cute to me.

I don't think she was judging at all? She stopped herself to compliment her, and I think it's just perspective. It makes sense to me that streetwear girl wouldn't personally like the Barbie outfit; they're different tonally. At the end of the day, they lined up for their overall looks to be ranked, so you have to expect some opinions shifted, but from everyone's inflections, I didn't get the vibe that anyone was trying to be mean or judgemental. Like the guys had a good example for the teacher look. If she styled it a bit more, had a trenchcoat or something to make it pop a bit more, she likely would have ranked higher, but she kept it simple. In the end, they're all cuties and I hope they all dress as they feel comfortable with, not for how others see them.
