Call of Duty 2, for a game made in 2004, is very realistic. I'm amazed of how the weapons work. More so when you see realistic muzzle flash and even smoke coming out of the weapons. In Easy Red 2, it's very clear seen that the muzzle flash is animated, when in CoD 2 it looks better and sometimes less visible.
I played Easy Red 2 prior to buying COD 2 and I always compared the games and how they felt so similar to friends who also played ER2 and COD with me and this video makes the two games even more similar in my mind now.
