Hey future me here! So Conspiracy naming Rats without a sac outlet will just draw the entire game. I assumed Conspiracy had creatures keep all their old types, but it, in fact, does not. So when the snail enters, it is just a rat, which triggers Wick, ending the game in a draw. FYI.
yup, since it removes the snail typing Wick's ability will check for any snails and will just keep making 1/1 rats indefinitely. An impact tremors effect would also work, not just a sac outlet.
Also worth noting Mirkwood Bats is another option for this. Play conspiracy naming rats then play mirkwood and its GG. But yes, playing conspiracy naming rats and then playing another creature with no damage outlet is a draw unless someone can interrupt it.
one point you didnt mention is that you draw cards equal to the sacrificed snails power. wick has some insane possibilitiesd for cEDH too if you wish to do grixis

Wick seems interesting with changelings, just like amass
For sure! I had black market connection in the list originally but I you just want the best changelings
Duplicant used to copy a big creature, and sac as a big snail?
Also works!
City on fire?
Def considered it but triple red in a mostly dimir deck seemed rough
@@BRBMTG convoke, plus any colour lands and artifacts, you'd probably be able to cast it
@@BRBMTG This is exactly why it got cut quickly from my deck. My wick deck is about 65% black and 20% blue.
DON’T SPEAK ITS NAME!
