My RS7 Pro just arrived today! the sound quality is very nice i would probably replace the keycaps for something better. The extra keycaps they said would send also came with the keyboard.
that's nice to see that they started shipping with the extra keycaps, where did you purchase the keyboard? I will do a moding video as well, will do a keycaps mode and maybe lube my switches and stabs
Good video, I was just looking for a review of the keyboard because I just bought the RS7 Pro. I wanted to ask how the overall performance and rapid trigger are. After purchasing, I found more information on a Chinese website, and many people say it doesn’t work very well (maybe this was before updates and is now fixed). I’d like to know your experience and opinion to see if it’s worth it or if I should cancel the order. Best regards!
@@UserFlyn The rapid trigger is what they say sometimes fails. I also want it for Valorant, so if you say you’re enjoying it and it works well, then I’ll get it. Thanks for the info, best regards!
Hi! I recently got this keyboard too. Have you tried the V2.01 firmware update or the desktop app? Wondering if there's any features that makes updating or downloading the app worth it. I’m on V1.09 out of the box, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about updating the firmware on the ATK 68 and 75.
Do you think, we should take the ATK 68 or save up a little for the RS 7? And is there a strong difference in them other than keycaps? Or take the drunkdeer a75
Great review. Do you know the full weight of the keyboard with all its accessories and the box? I wonder if they will support SOCD/Snap Tap that's present on Wooting and Razer keyboards.
it does have snap tap. stock I think rs7 pro is better because it is made out of metal but wooting 60 is plastic. But if you customize then both are pretty good
@@mikerzisu9508 The jades are normally green. However, the Amethyst Jade switches have a purple housing. Maybe Gateron made a collaboration with ATK to create that switch? Like the Geon Raptor switch.
The stock keycaps are ugly. Also curious as how people will mod the RS7. I prefer a deeper sound profile. Hoping foam will help. Thanks for the review. Hoping to see some latency tests from anyone in the future. By the way, i hear they shipped the keyboards first so that people can get their products earlier. Then they'll ship the keycaps separately. They thought if they shipped the keycaps and keyboard together, it would take too much time
Yeah like I mentioned the stock keycaps are very gamery, and you can see it’s clearly tailored towards gamers. Both the RS7 and the RS7 Pro have sound damping foam included in the keyboard. Honestly, I think the sound profile of the RS7 is awesome out of the box, the only I could see myself modding is probably just lubing the switches more or some simple tape or bandaid mod. Let me know if you’re interested in seeing a modding video. For now, I will do a full mod of my Wooting 60HE

I would not trust ATK products for my competitive gaming. Their ATK F1 Ultimate mouse that just released is a disaster, it's creaking, flexing, popping and rattling. They emailed customers saying they knew it was a design error and it was their fault, and offered them a measly $5 to rectify the situation. For customers demanding a replacement unit, they said no. They would only try to fix your mouse (which could take months to return to you) if YOU pay for return shipping. That is a classic example of a company not standing behind their products. Terrible QC, terrible customer service. I wouldn't touch their products with a ten foot pole. This keyboard could fail on you at any moment and they'd tell you to suck it up. Classic aliexpress China brand.
Their mouse is made out of cheap plastic, where this keyboard made with full aluminum alloy, i get that they might have bad customer support, but that has nothing to do with this keyboard being one of the best keyboard I have ever tried. I have the keyboard in my hand, and I have been using it everyday for the past 3 weeks, and I can tell you that it feels amazing. You can do whatever with that information
The man with the 80's hair is back! Love the T-shirt too, brother!

Nice video. The problem I have with all the smaller scale brands like ATK is they don't bother with ISO layout which I use.
