BMW 1200GS 2005 model Final Drive Service

Final drive service, replacing the oil and lubricating the splines in the drive shaft is a job that appears beyond the home mechanic, but it is easy. Just get the correct synthetic oil, and grease before you start and you will enjoy every minute! Also if you haven't already got one buy the Haynes workshop manual for your model....and a torque wrench!
please note. : THE TORSION BAR BOLT SHOULD BE TIGHTENED TO 43NM NOT 100NM AS I DESCRIBE IN THIS VIDEO!
