I got this one eventually. If a person had not done other chess puzzles they could be looking at it forever. It would be like trying to guess a combination for them.
Yes totally agree , chess puzzles improve your skills in chess over all because you adapted you can solve more
actually e4, e6, e8 for me suffer from an optical illusion that they work, but they don't. Bd6. There is no mate on h1, as there is Ka2; and the bishop can interpose at h3. D4 works as the only move bc it is an interference mover, preventing the WB from going to d6.
That right 👍
This is a nice puzzle thanks
Thank you 😍
Very enjoyable - nicely constructed problem! Took a few minutes, but got it!
Excellent! 😍
wow nice one i got this 😊
very nice 😉
Re4 works too
Re4 bd6 still even re1+ then ka2
A five-minuter.
That's nice 😉
Nice video. But doesn't Re8 accomplish the same thing? White could throw their Bishop to b8, blocking the checkmate, but then you can do Ra3++. And any another move just leads to Ra8++. Or am I missing something? [EDIT: Yeah, I missed Bd6 😊]
Re8 he will put bishop in d6 and can Ba3 delaying mate in 2
And Thanks for the nice video 😊
Bd6 stops the mate in 2
@@dimoso Ah right. Thanks 🙂
U can't win with only a bishop and you are down like 2 pieces. And your king is positioned so badly in the corner. You will lose.
Please be less stupid.
That's not the point. It a checkmate in two moves puzzle.

you can't win.
Black is the focus, not white
Looks to me that e4, e6, and e8 all work too.
because bd6 it will delay it and make mate in 3 after ba3
In most of those, the bishop can position themselves to land on A3, either capturing a rook or blocking mate and delaying by a turn. Rook to E5 is the only one that obstructs that path altogether.
