what ammo will you recommend without going into the premium ammo like the hornady match and things like that, also what MOA is the scope base and the rings please, thanks in advance.
I have found that the 168 grain bullets run the best. The 180 grain hunting rounds are all over the place. I have good luck with the 150 AGUILA shooting okay. I have had a few that failed to go bang. Think it might because the primers were harder… The Winchester shot okay as well. The Creedmoor Sports and the Federal Gold Medal Sierra shot the best… I still have yet to try the PPU ammunition line for the .308. I have ran some in my Axis 2 in .223 and performed pretty good…
@@BehindTheTrigger0 I’ve heard the same about 168gr federal gold medal match. I think it’s running $35 a box. The federal trophy bonded tip runs about $45 a box. If you’re just shooting at the range use the gold medal match. If you’re hunting use the trophy bonded tip.
I could be wrong but your shooting hand is not at the same position each time you pull the trigger on the bottom left target. That could play a role in why your groups open up a little. Other than that, nice shooting.

@@BehindTheTrigger0 thanks for that, I will probably try the Winchester as I saw that it preformed quite well in your video.
@@5.56NTO You’re welcome.
Thank you for the nice video. Which scope did you mount on the rifle? Greetings from Italy!
Give federal 165 grain trophy bonded tip a try. My bergara wilderness terrain was shooting 0.65 inch groups with it at 100yards
I’ll have to that. Been messing with the Federal Gold medal and shoots really well. A little pricey right now.

You didn’t say, what are you practicing for that if it’s for hunting field shooting I don’t see how are you going to take the bench with you?
Just working on my mechanics from the bench. Off hand there is no issue.
Have you tried Federal Gold medal Match.
Not yet but I have a box to try next trip to the range.
