Bord na Mona LM101 at Dromod

Restored Ruston loco LM101 seen in action at Dromod on the Cavan and Leitrim Railway Museum. The loco dates for the 1950s and was based on the Boora system of Bord na Mona.
This work is undertaken by volunteers who are committed to restoring our industrial heritage.
This loco is used primarily to shunt our 1908 built steam loco in and out of the engine shed, which itself dates from 1887.
