Cavan and Leitrim Railway Zoom presentation

A short presentation highlighting the progress of ongoing work at the Cavan and Leitrim Railway Dromod. This includes work ongoing through Covid, track work, the Tralee & Dingle carriage project and the restoration of Dromad.
The Heritage Council assisted phase 1 of the Tralee & Dingle Railway carriage fund to restore an original bogie. It is planned that this project will eventually come to fruition over multiple phases due to its complexity.

great achievement and best wishes for continued success. Though the railway closed 2 months before I was born, as children we often retraced the route with my father (who came from Gorvagh and was a rail enthusiast) by car.

Brilliant work. My Grandfather Milne was the engine driver stationed in Belturbet around 1955, sadly I cannot find the name and type he drove.
