Thank you Dr. Erich Marzolf for this amazing and informative presentation! I am a member of the Orange Audubon Society, but was unable to attend the meeting for the live lecture. All the material presented was easy to understand, and you have a great sense of humor! I've taken a boat tour of Lake Apopka, from the dock of Oakland Nature Preserve, during NatureFest. The lake was beautiful! I'm a birder, and I've driven the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive quite a few times, since moving to Oviedo, Florida. Believe it or not, my Panama Amazon, named Freedom the Parrot, comes along with me. I have over 26,000 wildlife videos on Karen Marts UA-cam, filmed over the course of 10 years. (I lived in Hilton Head Island, SC for 34 years. I was a volunteer monitor for The Sea Pines Bluebird Project for a decade.) I am in awe of the birds of prey, wading birds, songbirds, and waterfowl. I've also filmed up to 39 alligators during 3 hours of birding. Congratulations to you, and all of your associates for caring about Lake Apopka and the North Shore. The fact that fish are thriving, manatees are showing up, and the bird life is abundant is a testament to your hard work! Have a great evening, Karen Marts and Freedom the Parrot
