Thanks for the video, my workshop for the checkup service wanted 210$ for this 10 min work, just ordered the cable for 10 bucks.

Awesome ! yeah, im surprised how easy it was. Got upset that I paid more than 10 bucks to get it installed the first time.

This went well. I did it a little differently. Also, I noticed my 2012 cbr250r has a clip that holds the cable in place. I am not sure if the clip is missing on your bike or if its just covered up. Other than that the directions were great. Also, I took a picture as well but decided to use a ruler to measure the centimeters so everything went back into the same settings. Worked very well thank you

No problem ! glad I could help. I didnt notice any clips for the cable. They could have been missing, but I never had an issue,

Hey is it possible for me to just feed the actual wire through instead of swapping the whole cable?

Did the new one last or did it prematurely teared again? I'm at the point of changing my newly torn cable and I have the feeling that the fine tuning nuts are kinda sharp edged and will do this again. How was yours?

Mine seemed fine after the 2nd change. If the fine tuning nuts are a bit sharp you might want to look into something to smooth them out because that can definitely be an issue. But I cant say about mine.... I was hit and totaled the little CBR. but for the few months it was alive it was good. I checked it on a weekly bases and all looked good. Hope that helps !

@@theproject6155 sorry to hear that, hope you are ok. yes i tried removing the sharp edges and also put grease on that end to prevent unwanted friction. thanks!

It doesn't work for a honda rebel cmx 250 c. It's got like 1 to almost 2 inches and you can't get the slack out

That's a shame. The rebel should be alot easier since it has no fairings. Companies have been over complicating the simpler bikes lately.
