great vid and congrats on getting a really nice and clean 135! I still have my 2008 manual 135, which I bought new. Around the key port it says "year one of the one". I think that was a nice touch by BMW! It recently hit 71k miles and I never had any problems with it. I've been running a JB4 tune since 30k. I truly love my little 1er! Going to get a M2 next. Waiting to see what the new M2 will be like.
You’re lucky you have the N54 and a manual!!! I sold my M2C because I miss driving stick but just like you im waiting on the new M2 if it doesn’t look to good I’ll be back in an F87 but manual this time.
Nice wheels! I've got a white 135i N55 DCT as well, cosmetically changed side indicators to tinted LED ones, changed grille to gloss black dual slat, changed the mirror caps to m3 style - they look cool from the driving position. I will probably wrap the roof black in the future, and add a front splitter and some side skirts.
@@csr_garage_2899 For your first time, I would recommend brake fluid and pads with 50% life left. Depending on how fast you go and how hard you brake, you might experience some brake fade or shuttering after 7 to 10 laps. While the brakes on the 135i look impressive, they do not perform all that well. I believe Jake Spence has also run into these braking issues. It's still worth signing up for a track day just to experience it!
you got the lottery on that spoiler. i purchased after seeing in your video. tons of defects at the sides near the bottom. i've gotton better ebay ones. returned it right away. maybe i will try the oem mperformance spoiler one day. i find plastic ones tend to have perfect shape and i just paint match.
Funny you mention it. My Carbon Fiber started cracking and peeling everywhere now but I called and they gave me another free replacement but still $hitty

Yeah you’re absolutely right! Not much demand for the 1 series anymore unfortunately and that’s why everything is so cheaply made from China. The black line taillights are definitely a must do you’ll need amazed!
Hey bro nice and clean car , i got a 2010 E91 335i N55 , the car have FMIC, CHARGEPIPE, DP w/stock exhaust ,stock turbo, i was runnnig at the dyno MHD v1.6 stg2 98 ron, it made 360hp/550nm (305whp /405fpt) now im running v1.84 stg2+ still not mesure the car but fells stronger , i belive if u go pure stage 2 u need to upgrade fuel wise to
Wow nice E91! How do you like MHD? Would you recommend it? Yes I believe I’d upgrade both HPFP and LPFP if I go ahead and go Pure stage 2 but that’s maybe a long term goal.
@@csr_garage_2899 I mean MHD gives u a lot for the money, u can chose ofs maps depend on your setup, pretty much satisfied , the best tune its a custom tune and if u can match the tune in to MHD platform its brilliant , in minutes u can have the car stock and right back on stg2+ or custom tune, change the burbles etc
Man, get rid of those tires!! Like now!! That is a death wish. They would immediately fail a US DOT inspection in all 50 states!! If you ever read the report of Paul Walkers death, it was attributed to old tires. The compound used to make the tires has a shelf life. This is why tires must be stamped with build date. Your life is more valuable than a set of tires. Nice whip...
You’re absolutely right! I thought this exact same thing and went ahead and replaced all 4 tires with Michelin PS4s and now have that peace of mind, but thanks a lot for looking out!
Replace the tires asap, they are atleast 8 years over date almost. It will rip, blow out of fuck up from dryrot. Europe would never let you drive with these tires.
great lookin car!!! When are you going to be trying to cram in the 255 width tires as I’d be interesting to see the process and if it rubs… Also, with the angel eye conversion, did it through a code in your car? many thxs!
@@csr_garage_2899 Ya bro, gotta do some stuff to it first. Ordered a chargepipe a couple of days ago and yesterday the plastic one blew :/. Im sooo down tho! Whats your IG?
I’m not concerned as of now but I send in an Oil sample to Blackstone for analysis and get an idea of how things are. I believe its about $30 not bad at all!
I have a 12 and at first was paranoid as well. Best thing is change oil less than 5k intervals and let the car warmup to atleast 160 before going over 2500 rpm. Also oil analysis is good. Im at 70k and my analysis came back perfect. Also if the oil filter housing is leaking change it asap so that you don't snap a serpentine belt and it gets sucked into the front crank seal. Get a crank seal guard. Lastly when doing the ofhg make sure the oil system gets primed before starting the vehicle. Other than that enjoy.
I actually really liked it but I personally like the 1 series better it feels more of a drivers car! Super fun to drive and looks really good for a good price at this point

I was thinking of wrapping my roof black as well and replace my side indicators to LED too! I’ll have to make a video on it good taste!

When you delete the muffler in this car, engine light comes on? I ask because there is a device by the muffler that open and close the left pipe.
If you just remove the muffler no. It only comes on if you remove your cat or go to a catless downpipe
Are you worried about rod bearing issues? I just bought a 2011 135i and I’m hella paranoid I’m gonna need complete engine rebuild

Nice car man! Hard to find these cars in that condition now! Btw what offset did you go with on the wheels?
Yeah its hard to find them like this now! I went with 18x8.5 ET45 all around with 10MM spacers in the rear.
Currently driving a 335 x drive and wondering how these do on the highway in rain?
Mines the RWD and it does pretty good tbh so I’m assuming yours being the AWD should be a lot better
I have mine lowered I have M1 Msport in white
Do you have the 1M? Also what are you lowered on?
@@csr_garage_2899 BMW sports springs to lower the car down
