I bought a 590 unit in January. Diesel only. Will work just fine for my farm operation and a lot cheaper than the other companies. I added LED lights inside tied into the running lights. If a person wanted to carry gasoline also, the back deck could hold a 96 gallon gas transfer tank if not buying the compresserator.
It looks like a nice fuel trailer. I'd worry about that fuel gauge being unprotected on the top of the trailer. I can see it getting broken off when you are clearing the snow off. A steel shroud that still allows for easy replacement of the gauge would be a nice upgrade.
As important clean fuel has become with the newer motors this is so needed! Had a number of friends that have been hampered by delivery trucks that are outdated & kept the mechanics far too busy with fueling issues... Nice showing ! Thanx !
Yes but if you read up on this one it's for farm use because of it being one tank. ( Hazmat endorsement) required. With the thunder creek no Hazmat needed for anyone.
That's going to be a game changer especially when you look at the others on the market . Alex is going to be happy come winter and he's got a repair on site.
it wouldn't be worth it. although farmers probably can get away with it. Although I have a cdl and am unsure about private citazen requirements. if I understand right if you have to placard you need a cdl. however only hazmat endorsement holders usually would know. for instance if i haul over 1000 pounds of gasoline i have to placard. if i haul over 1000 pounds of car batteries i have to placard. if a private non endorsed citizen goes and buys 15 car batteries, no one will say anything, however it's over 1000 pounds. so technically i think thats illegal.
That's what I was afraid of hearing.. I've only ever seen the individual tanks from Thunder and I don't know about the placarding laws but I know I can't transport more than a 100 gallon container without a hazmat I believe.. 10, 50 gallon tanks is fine but 1 500 gallon tank is a big no no.
Very nice, great design, and it really doesn't scream fuel trailer so that someone isn't going to drill your keylocks out to get fuel. Anymore, I would want something that looked more like a septic pumper, then no one would want to get near it.
I like this rig but I have a question, is it one big diesel tank with baffles or is it several smaller tanks? If one big tank, how are you getting around the hazmat placards? This is nice, I just don't want to go thru the bs of dealing with the hazmat requirements. Thank you and be safe.
Good morning, Stan! Wow! What a beauty! Man oh man I'd love to own one of those. Not that I have a use for it but, wow! Yeah, I'd FIND a use for it! Thanks for sharing. Hope you and yours have an awesome weekend! God bless.
I hope to someday be at the point where a trailer that just hauls fuel an def it's considered affordable at 10k. My utility trailer was 2.5k with two 3500 axles brand new. However now its 4500. Too bad we dont make double the money of 5 years ago. Wouldn't it be cheaper to have diesel dogs just come in and fill up? I'm sure this trailers cheaper than the ones on the farms but damn. 10k doesnt go far.
It often comes down to the bulk fuel rates the contractor can get, what it costs to run their own fueling vehicle(s) Vs what the commercial on-site re-fuelling companies charge, and how reliable and/or quickly they can get on site. Add to that how much fuel the equipment needs - some plant will have 300-600litre tanks - and it can get to be a logistics nightmare. Compromise may be large commercial tankers for the large plant demands, and a self-service vehicle for the smaller sites and equipment.
just a heads up but over like 98 or 100 gallons tanks you need to make sure you have the proper license to transport fuel on the road. our commercial dot officers keep an eye on that in northern Maine.
I can’t speak for Stan’s mowers but mine lived on the trailer even at my biggest property 33hours ish (3-4guys 8-10 hours average) depending on witch mower your talking about they only ever needed filled a maximum of twice per day so one in the morning and once at lunch covered the day carrying even a fuel barrel would’ve been nice but also just added extra weight and lost Space to carry over the 3 justrite gas cans we carried
False. 119 is max without hazmat unless for AG use. That’s common knowledge at least in the USA. Who would need to tow around 999 gallons of diesel fuel for their own use? I’d be happy to to see any link saying I can tow around more then 119 gallons of diesel.
I see these on all the big youtube channels all tye sudden but in reality they have been around for a long time . About 12 years ago my boss at a large excavation company bought a military unit at gov auction that he mounted to an old skid steer trailer and we had everything on it , oils grease air compresser welder fuel everything had about 50ft of hose it worked great on big sites and he was only into it for about 4k including the trailer 👍 they only make sense for agriculture or big site jobs 👍 they figured out they were better off with skid tanks in the company trucks and electric grease guns for the operators* the military unit was powered by a diesel engine too that fed off the built in diesel tank
I used to work in logging, what about the 200 gal limit for the requirment for a CDL. It was required for our service trucks because of the fuel, it was also a class A CDL.
I sealed up the top cover to fill the Def tank system since I do not have def in my 590. First time it rained I noticed that is where all the water got in at. I will only need def for a combine in the fall so plan on refilling 2.5 gallon def containers and leaving in the "empty" storage area.
Nice but far cheaper and easier to mount a barrel on an old car trailer and go. Boss bought a used generator and separated the fuel tank and put that on one trailer also. Also have a 500 on an old fertilizer wagon running gear.
Cool, but problem is that this trailer does require Placards and Hazmat because its not like the thunder trailer of isolated tanks its one big tank with baffles.
@Stanley "Dirt Monkey" Genadek I'm not sure of any u.s. laws, but this would cost me more money than thunder creek trailer due too certifying everyone of my employees to haul this trailer. And with employee turn over rate at a high in Canada it's a on going cost that surpasses the competition.
actually affordable, impressive. These 35-50k fuel trailers are absolutely absurd. These big construction companies doing government work are the ones bidding everything up into the stratosphere.
@@MB12116 you’re a plank, you think Stan knows more then the damn product manager/rep they design and build these. He’s just someone who reads the brochures
Stan with the size of yer trucks or 4x4s as we would say how well ye dont take the beds off and but tipper beds on them here in ireland and britain our biggest size truck is the ford ranger we can put tipper beds on them
hell no. We aren't the same. I run a company of craftsmen. What we build requires years of training and skill. he runs equipment. That does require skill but he couldn't build 1/4 of things we build.
Beautiful trailer, but with so much of the industry turning towards electric now, I think it'd pay off for him to make a big battery bank trailer with high output for charging up on the go... even have the genny for backup. Really though, someone needs to make a landscape or utility trailer with battery bank built in the floor for things like lawncare.
It certainly would for those who run electric, when they get the logistics sorted out, as sometimes on-site power isn't available and noise limitations prevent effective ICE generation of power on-site. On that, I'm kinda surprised there doesn't seem to be any manufactures offering swappable battery pack electric machines, as used for factory forklifts, lifts, etc.
It's awesome but I wish you guys would have said something about needing to have a hazmat endorsement in order to hold that much fuel around. I know in California anything over 100 gallons you got to be placard 🫤
Love the trailer, the guy showing it off turned me off. If your gonna have the privilege of being on Stans's channel, you better be able to sell your product effectively. That was an immediate turn-off for me.
His Boss website doesn’t showcase the trailer nearly as well as you did! He should include your video on his site and improve his descriptions and photos.
I have a thunder creek fuel trailer this doesn’t compare like apples and oranges and price there quoting is not accurate plus I have grease system built in

That guy is the epitome of letting his work speak for itself, no need to sell it because with prices and design like that it practically sells itself
It looks like a nice fuel trailer. I'd worry about that fuel gauge being unprotected on the top of the trailer. I can see it getting broken off when you are clearing the snow off. A steel shroud that still allows for easy replacement of the gauge would be a nice upgrade.

Now THAT is a great way to beat the socks of Thunder Creek! - Way to go Paul!

Stanley finds all the cool trailers and stuff keep it up Stanley Love this trailer and the dump trailer you showed us earlier =)
Do they offer a separated tanks trailer like thunder Creek so you can legally tow without a CDL and hazmat?
Unfortunately no
it wouldn't be worth it. although farmers probably can get away with it. WOW !!! What an amazing fuel trailer …👌👍.
Nice addition to the fleet, Stan.
May you rarely have to use for more than fuel!😁👍
Very nice, great design, and it really doesn't scream fuel trailer so that someone isn't going to drill your keylocks out to get fuel. Anymore, I would want something that looked more like a septic pumper, then no one would want to get near it.

love the fuel trailer

I came for the same question because it looks to be just one big tank.
It looks like one big tank, unless the gauge is just on tank
I read up on it. One big tank with baffles. Need placards
Farm use only or hazmat required... Equivalent to an FST from TC, but not the MTT (119 gallon limit per tank).

But but but I can't say THUNDEERRRRRRRR then if I have a Boss trailer! 😂
Lol.. yeaaa
Looks like a well built unit for the price..👍👍
Pretty handy here in Uzebeckasota during our long dark winters. Nice.
Nice!
Nice one Stan. 👍👍🏴🏴
Thank you sir!
I assume if you don’t need Def, you can have two tanks, one for diesel and one for regular. That’s awesome, I think will contact him
I need one of these in my life 😂😂😂😂
AWESOMEEEEEEEEEE
Thanks for the video!!! I can watch again without the subtitles!!! Thanks!!!
subtitles will be leaving this channel soon
Looks nice, very useful. Thank You
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice trailer! Get your savings back in time saved going to fuel ⛽️ up, convenience, less trips, etc.
Good call!
Sweet trailer! Nice design and features!
Might also checkout Thundercreek trailers
Very cool! Thanks!
A lot of nice features! The man's a genius! Lets the trailer do the talking.
agreed. the trailer sells itself
Not all hero's wear capes. Some just make quality, affordable products in the USA.
That’s a win! I hope they sell the heck out of them… very nice
I'm retired, never worked any job that could use something like this, but it certainly looks nice.
I was impressed just by the weld quality.
love the trailer, love the content. keep rockin..!!
Very, very nice, I will be looking!
Cool trailer!!
"Ultimate" may be a bit strong, as different folks will have different needs - but that certainly is a nice bit of kit.
Wow nice trailer!
Awesome thanks
Thats awesome
It definitely is a nice trailer for the price but it isn't no thunder Creek trailer😂

yep- haz mat endorsement is required.
You could add 2, 100 watt solar panels and a 12 volt solar charge unit and 1 or 2 LifePo4, 12 volt batteries to recharge the batteries during the day.
Nice rig. One thing done well.
😎👍
I have the 990. We do not have the compressor/generator option. Thats a great set up.
very high quality in my opinion.
Who says farmers don’t want cool rims?
Bad ASS!!! 👍👍
Pretty sweet trailer. I'm surprised you didn't get a gas tank also for all your mowers

These things are mostly only for diesel. Transporting any decent amount of gas is a legal nightmare
Unreal!!!!! So freakin cool!!! Hope your week is going great! Our drought hopefully will end this weekend!
So it’s one big tank? Can’t tow it full without hazmat endorsement then. Great for what you are gonna use it for tho.
Not true. If for your own use can tow 999 and under.

Awesome 👍

Im not sure if thats an option.

@@daleborkholder715 ah possibly. I could be mistaken
How do you keep Def from freezing?
So is that fuel tank double walled?

Do you have hazmat placards for the trailer?

Stan you better lock it up and remove the wheels and whatever else you can because if they steal this on you it's gonna sting BAD
I don't see a lock for the diesel tank
all the doors are lockable
