Really sorry to hear about that. I hope our test can help more manufacturers strengthen their products, and also give consumers some reference for buying cars.
The trucking industry in North America sucks. They hire mostly immigrant truck drivers from India and Pakistan that are causing a lot of the accidents and killing lots of people !

Audi's use of aluminum in the Audi space frame has had a significant impact on the introduction of aluminum in the automotive industry. Proof of this is the torsional stiffness figures and design visualization of the A8 D3 generation, which are very striking compared to other brands of the same generation. @uberenthusiasts Lmao, brand loyalty to the least reliable and most expensive capitalist money pumps is a disease I'll gladly leave in your capable hands. Hyundai is rated higher than Honda on the JD Powers reliability chart, and if you think Mercedes has never made a bad engine go ahead and look up M278, or the OM diesel. Just because something is less expensive doesn't necessarily make it worse, boy.

Trucks trailers should have angled beam that will deflect the car outwards. The car is already on the next lane, why just not push it further into the next lane?
In Europe trailers usually have bigger guards, like bumpers, that prevent cars from underriding them. A crash scenario like this is very unlikely with a modern trailer like they are common here. That's what needs to change in China, not adding weight and costs to passenger cars.
Interesting when Chinese brands with similar results, the comments are like “poorly designed”, “coffin on wheels”, “not acceptable”….and comments here are “maybe designed for Asia”, “did good”, “heavy car, regular S would do better”… double standard.
